Mr G,
Thanks for the carburetor tip to enhance the white wall visuals .
I'm still trying to master the flame, distance and now carburetion.
Some hits are awesome, some are terrifying , as in coughing my as off,
while some are very mediocre.
I think that the daisy gets me so fucked up that I cannot line everything up.
When that happens I know I should stop, but I whip out my LB and keep on vaping.

I'm hoping, and my guess is, that one of the new products will be a straight forward, all in one type of Lily/wpa product. Bit like some sort of a wooden chillum with a glass tube core and a bong/bowl attachment at the bottom...

...If any of that makes sense.

I wonder if it will only be only for a wpa attachment of if will be able to be used native.

Exchanged emails with Tommy a couple days ago. The new glass neck with trumpeted mp should be available in about a month. He also said he's working with a blower on a Triihouse Percolator, not sure what that is exactly but sure sounds like fun!

Edit: Video of new portable(?) vape? on Triihouse Instagram: https://instagram.com/p/4FZfn2FwcW/?taken-by=triihousecompany

Just watched that video for about 5 minutes on loop  love the shaped end to protect the glass  nice touch, still don't know much about it other than I want one, just hope vapefiend stocks them to keep prices reasonable for UK buyers, although if not I will just wait till there are a couple new ones to save on shipping a little.

What a tease...Can't wait to see it in use or learn more about it. Will it be torch powered or used with a regular lighter or both?

That looks nice!!! It seems convection to me, you should hit the glass end and draw from the curved wooden end! Although what comes in mind is "harsh vapor"... :\

There is a picture on instagram showing this vape and it is discribed as conduction

I heard that from Tommy as well. He referred the debut of a new "model" (singular), so my guess would be that it's just the small conduction model we've been teased with

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but Daisy and Lily are now available at puffitup. The price is good, particularly with the FC discount and the international shipping will be much cheaper than from Triihouse. As many on this site will attest to, their service is fantastic.

I feel it's my duty to bump this thread on occasion as my Daisy really is a thing of wonder that needs more admiration. Had my Daisy a little over 6 months now and I still try to use it daily, it's hits are potent and unique tasting, really seems to build even more character over time and with use.

It's also the fastest, near instant vapor producing unit I own for those times when you can't wait for a plug in to warm up. There are just so many great things about this design and how it works and I learn new things about what it can do all the time.

Checked Triihouse website this am, still no new products, I'm waiting for a few things so I can combine them into one order, trumpeted mp and maybe an updated Lily, maybe the new watertool attachment vape or mini hand conduction vape whatever it is, me want.

Edit - new pics from their Instangram:

A lighter should be here in time for weekend festivities (thanks to Randy at PuffitUp!) and in the meantime I discovered a fun work-around: the metal tube that connects the two halfs of the Daisy fits perfectly into the mouth-hole of my (matching walnut!!) MFLB, so I can take MFLB hits through the Daisy mouthpiece. Fun fun fun! In fact now that I think about it, I have a friend who is paranoid about butane fumes, so this will be a fun way for us to enjoy Daisy sessions together: he can just swap in the MFLB when it is his turn. ;)

Patience is a virtue, but it is also a pain in the butt.
The only reason I can be calm and patiently wait for the new goodies is that my lighters arrived. I'm watching clouds form in the glass and then pulling them into my brain.
Now that Mr. G has showed me the path of the carburetor, I can create little clouds and sip ; medium clouds and barely hold on or huge clouds and cough may head off.
This vape just keeps getting better and better as my skills increase.

Welcome to the club. I might suggest to Tommy that he put these carb tips in the user manual, everyone who's reported trying it seems to have the same experience - it makes controlling the vapor MUCH easier. I don't know for a fact, but I also think it helps prevent combustion as you can quickly reduce the temp by uncovering the carb and adding more fresh air to bowl, I think I've dodged the burn many times.

For you lazy lurkers that don't want to go back and read....

Many have found the best way to use Daisy (and Lily) is to keep the carb covered to start and then "tap" on the carb hole once you hit vapor temp, about a few seconds in. You can tap at a slow pace or a quick one, you'll likely do both once you get the hang of it. Once you hit your "whistle sweet spot" tapping the carb does the following:

- it allows you to control the temperature of the heated air, which will make your vapor thicker or thinner. On the large lung busters, it helps to have cool air shoot in as you tap tap tap, it makes the vapor smoother and less chance of coughing.
- allows you to see the vapor production more easily in the glass neck as you empty and fill it repeatedly with vapor with each tap, this greatly helps you see how much vapor you're inhaling, experienced vaporists know the importance of this feedback.
- prevents combustion, if you sense the temp getting close to that point, you uncover the carb and let cool air stop the risk of a red cherry, be aware, keeping the carb covered too long may have the opposite effect.
