WOW. I've just discovered this world of custom vapes with exotic woods. That buckeye in the above pics is stunning.

Quick question: when purchasing the wood for your custom vape, does the actual vape cost less? I realize the wood is exotic and overall you end up paying more, hence it being a custom piece. But do the UDs, HIs and E-nanos that use the wood you provide cost the same as the vapes on these companies' websites?

Yes! You do pay the same retail price for a log vape at checkout. The exotic wood purchase is separate at additional cost.

All of this amazing Buckeye came from @Snappo except the knife and gun scales, which I'll have to work on in the future lol. Anyway here's a pic of my current* buckeye collection.

Edit: Here are some better shots of those buckeye drip tips, all from the same blank @Snappo provided for my NicoMod. This thing is amazing, I can't get over it sorry if I sound like a douche. It combines my love for exotic wood and the defeat of cigarettes. I can't live without it now. Anyway I shut up n post the pics. Oh Btw, one more thing lol they're from molehillmountaindriptips.com and it's a mom n pop shop and they accept custom jobs with custom wood. Ok seriously I'm done, here's the pic.

So I put my name in with Alan what feels like years ago. Now I am up on the list and Snappo got in touch which led me here.

Which leads me to my question. I do not know much for the Underdog or the enano. How do they compare to the HI? It seems like most in this thread are headed to an 'Andy' and 'Ed's TnT', would Alan be able to make me stems of the leftover wood as well? Should I be researching enano and underdog to see if it fits me better? (Mobius water pipe & Life Saber Vape).

Can anyone break down the main differences between the enano, HI, and underdog?

I was reading up on all 3 not long ago myself... I went with UD after a bit of reading and recommendations from a couple people here i feel i can trust.... And i couldnt be happier. But here are some threads that may help you.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/best-log-vape.17027/

There are probably more as well but these are the first ones i come up with.

From my reading they seem to be pretty similar in performance. I think you get more stem options with UD out the box than e-nano, but the enano comes with a inline power adjuster thingy and with UD you are stuck at one temp (albeit a perfect one for most my needs) unless you buy an optional VVPS... dont know about HI... but i know it would be damn near impossible to beat the customer service from UnderDog.

I think the general consensus is, you'll likely be happy with any of the 3... But if you already made it through the wait list.... Id prolly get the HI, you can always get a dog... But it seems like its a LONG wait on the HI...

Or get the HI, if it doesnt suit you sell it and get the UD or nano.... With all the people waiting i bet it would sell QUICK.

Just some options... I LOVE my underdog though!!

That's some top notch service right there...

You aren't kidding! Snappo made sure he got a hold of me (because there were some others interested) and asked if I was sure if I wanted to switch, and I sure did!

I have to apologize to everyone, because that beautiful piece of wood is spoken for!

Thanks Snappo, everyone will see the spoils soon enough :)...
