Coupon codes are listed in PlanetVape's signature, see further up on this page ^
Thanks for the tip, I did actually look there, because the very first post in this thread mentioned promo codes in the signature. But at this moment (and earlier today when I posted) I can't see anything in the sig.

Are the coupon codes general (e.g., 10% off your order) or are they just for specific products? Maybe there just aren't any promos right now and therefore no codes in the sig?

Only one is for an Arizer,Air I belive at the moment. First, post first page signature

Okay, thanks for that, I couldn't see it there, either, but now I know why! Thanks to PV support for getting back to me by email, it turns out that if you are on a mobile device (which I am) then the sig is only visible from landscape mode. Kind of a strange formatting thing on behalf of whatever engine powers this forum, but at least now I know!

So PV doesn't do any discounts save for the Air and that other vape still? Would be nice to at least get 5% off...pretty sure it used to be 10% off for FC members? Ah well, economy is what it is.

Remember if you are in the USA and you buy from a Canadian website you save almost 20% on the currency exchange.

With the Canadian dollar almost 25% lower than the US dollar right now biohacker is correct, great deals for our US customers who save almost 25% just on the currency exchange. Bummer for Canadians who need to add 25% to the cost if buying from the US.

New code in signature for goboof Alfa. This is a little gem of a vape :) Had to raise the advertised price to conform to price levels, use our code to save.
Peace and Love,
PV

Can those be sub'd in on most any 510 vape pen or are the proprietary? Like something that a Kiss globe would fit on.

Just received my most recent supply of PVHES stems and gongs.

The vortex gong was marked with a blue dot where there are usually the four nubs. I thought that the purpose of the little potrudsions was to be able to handle the gong hot.

Only one nub Does not help in handling hot gongs.

Also, if vortex is blue maybe we could also have a color to indicate turbo, or shorty.

There should be some method to identify stems and gongs that should not be place in the Air.

Now that I have a vortex gong and a bent vortex stem I hope to review them in the near future. Testing and comparing is the best part!!

I am pretty interested in the difference between a stock bent stem and the bent vortex .

Hey PV, I was just wondering do you have any plans to make a Turbo gong or vortex gong for the air without the micro channel technology?

I always thought that the PVHES was created with two main purposes, to help cool vapor when using higher temps and to increased the weak air flow that the solos apparently had.

But to me theirs no point in having features that increase the vapor coolness when using a water tool, since thats the point of most ppl using the water tool in the first place and it only ends up diluting the vapor quality with to much air, while making your vapes heating element work overload while trying to keep up with the cooling of the chamber; plus I always thought that the air was made with slight improvements to give it better air flow... hence the name AIR rather then solo 2, mini solo, the go solo or something along those lines. haha

I own the air and i find that it has perfectly fine airflow/vapor density with the stock stems either with or without using a water tool. The only issue I have with the stock stem used as a gong, is that the air isn't seated solidly into your WT and can shake around a bit in the downstem, so i just ordered one of the PV non carb gongs to make it a more secure/proper glass on glass connection. but would really be interested in seeing a non micro channeled turbo or vortex gong for the air... just for the fact they have a straight/opened vapor path into the WT rather then filtering through the 4 holes first

anyways hope this doesn't translate as rude sounding, just trying to explain the logic to why i think PV needs to add some non micro channeled gongs into planet vapes already stellar arsenal... to me personally I feel like a non micro channeled vortex gong would be the perfect gong adapter for the arizer air.

AFAIK, the PVHES stems with the channels were purely to increase airflow.
Cooler vapor may have been a side effect of the increased flow, but I don't really recall that ever being an aim of the design, more just a happy side-effect :)

I haven't seen an air stem in person, but I'm assuming they have the 4-hole "screen" just like the solo stems have?
I just had a flashback to the original solo stems - they only had a 2 hole "screen" * shudder*

Ime using a stock stem (or non-PVHES gong stem) with a water tool just has way too much drag (with the solo, I don't have an air, but I thought they were functionally identical from a drag standpoint?), and the micro channels really are required (or, honestly, not even the micro channels, just the little cutouts in the lip make a world of difference

FWIW, i'm not a fan of the PVHES for the same reasons as @Hook02....way too much airflow, and diluted vapour. Some people may love this, because the hits are easier to take, but I much prefer the regular gong which is just a stem cut off with the connector welded on. Vapour is denser/thicker, and gives me way more satisfaction. Airflow isn't an issue unless the Solo is brand spanking new... I don't use an o-ring, but rather "tilt" the Solo as i'm taking a hit from the water tool. I can manipulate any airflow I choose.

My experience is that the Air has a slightly diluted (more airflow) than the Solo, and even using a regular gong provided too much air, that lacked the density I enjoy in the Solo. I much prefer the Solo over the Air, but don't really have real portable needs (just around the house).

I would love it if PV made a regular gong that had the full open bore! Like a e-nano stem, but for the Solo. No notches or microchannels please.

Huge shout out to PV for my local pick up order recently as well! Michael was an absolute pleasure to deal with and in fact my wife even mentioned how he actually changed our day which started out horribly with a family emergency. Michael is super laid back, chill, and such a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again for all the help, PV hooked me up huge!

Looking forward to my next order for Solo gong's!
