Police Raid on Vitolo's Home

Wow....
I don't know what to say.
That's very weird...i'm quite sure there were two donations in there, not just the one still showing now...
Also strange was that i got a phonecall from the creditcardpeople in minutes after making my very small token contribution, when asked for the reason why i got this call, they said it was 'flagged' (conversation was in Dutch) as a possible fraudulent transaction, but no further explanation as to why it might be so.
I pressed a bit out of simple curiosity(i don't get that many calls out of the blue from people i don't know), but didn't get anything more then that it was just a 'sample call', so not so much having anything to do with the recipient?
Am starting to wonder now...:uhoh:
If it is all some sort of form of 'big brother-ness', it would be so sadly inhuman...:(

I have always remembered numbers; dates, telephone numbers, lots of numbers. Of course, this date, is a date is one i'd like to forget but i never will. May 18, 2015.

Tonight I came into write, to express. I thought my Vito was in the bedroom. I walked into this room and he was here. With me. Me with him. I am happy he was in this room when I entered to write to all of you. We sit by by side.

It is one month ago today. At this very moment we were still not allowed to enter our home. The LEO's were still inside.

It is so very, very, very important to express, that every, single, one of you, makes a difference in our life, every day!!!!!!!!!!!!
Without your gentle kindness, I can't imagine where we, where I, would be at this point in time, June 18, 2015. I find it difficult to express in words exactly just how your words ring in my ears, thoughts and heart, through out this ordeal. This ordeal, is not over.

I humbly and with ever so much gratefulness say THANKS!!!!! Your overwhelming love envelopes us through every day, and moments of panic and despair. Thank you.

Vito, our pups, our birds, are doing well. Vito and I were both a little 'off' today. We smiled. We enjoyed each other. We loved our babies, furry and feathered. Our home is full of love.

A New Day Dawning
No news has come yet as far as news about our possessions or case.
One month later...
Good news about our attitudes.
Discussing what the therapist gave us to discuss (homework) does shed some light.
Also.......
I find parts and pieces daily (stems etc)... Not a large number but I am finding parts nonetheless.
and am now contacting patients with those corresponding units to let them know that I can help once again with Vape Maintenance.
Some tubing...
Some residual parts from a couple manufacturers.
a few new Solo stems....
and a few new Space Cases are among what I have come up with.
I am sending a mass email advising those that were on the Vapor Trail Forum (local moderate/severe patients) of this fact.
I advised Doctor she can refer low income patients.
I will be teaching.
Carefully checking Cards.
Advising, and if Patients need a vape that I do not have, they will go on a list, and I will actively hunt!
I am medicated.
Have been at saturation level for an easy week now.
Doing better and stronger.
A Local Dispensary is considering allowing some teaching space, and we are considering allowing some of the more seriously involved patients to resume coming to our home for learning.
We thank all of you for staying with us on both our adventure and our misadventure...
I would not make it without my Patty...
More later.

I just read about this last night. I had to read through the last 2 pages or so to get caught up. This is a horrendous case of misjustice if I ever heard one. Hopefully the tables will get turned on the Police Dept. and they get into trouble over this.

Picking on older sick citizens just trying to get by and helping others that are sick too. IMO it wouldn't look good for them. With all the strong arming of innocent people in the news with the police as of lately especially. We see it's not all racially motivated. It sounds like the wrong person had an issue with medical cannabis.

Vito you are one of the sweetest and nicest person on the planet, and I never have met you. I only know you from your wonderful words of encouragement to others. You are the person that helped me to find FC.

Last night I cried reading all the posts and couldn't write anything until I had processed this ordeal that you two have dealt with. Beyond my comprehension why any police dept would think this was an OK thing to do.

I wish you love and encouragement and hopefully this nightmare will be behind you, only a distant memory.

Sending positive vibes your way.:)

Sadly, it ain't quite over yet. I just read that the Colorado Supreme Court - of all venues - a few days ago sided against a medical cannabis patient who had been fired by his employer (Dish Network) because THC was detected by a mouth swab. He is quadriplegic as a result of a car accident, and uses cannabis to control leg spasms. They fired him. He had told Human Resources he has a medical marijuana card, and they had no complaints about his performance. But the Colorado Supreme Court argued that since it's illegal under federal law, it's not a legal activity, on or off-duty, and can be grounds for termination. Bastards. Anybody going to terminate their Dish Network subscription?

The edit:
There are great discrepancies in the actual law... and the manner in which EVERY LEO gets to interpret the law the way they see fit.
The law still says that patients can share with patients, and even has a clause that says a patient may reimburse another for meds shared.
The police interpret things as they wish.. and insist that you may only get meds at a dispensary.
Even though they are dead wrong.. they have shields, and they get to take what they want as evidence.
This has caused a great mistrust of policemen in this home.
Last night Patty came in to tell me there were police down the street.
I looked with her, and they were speaking with neighbors.
They approached us since we were gawking.
We both ran inside and locked the door.
Our hearts were pounding.
They were actually fugitive recovery officers (bulldogs for a bail bondsman) hunting for someone... but they wore cop-like uniforms.
Our dogs... easy to calm with correct wording were so affected by the ordeal of the 18th that they snarled and fought to get through the door at the "intruders".
They also have developed a sharp distaste for anyone in uniform approaching the door.
They wanted to leave their card in case we saw the fugitive.....
we simultaneously verbalized to leave it on the porch we will retrieve it later.
We wait now, and will maintain patience as we can.
OH.....
Big news.
Patty took the big bad bull by the horns.....
said that the LEOs that interrupted our lives that night.. were NOT going to win.
My brave Patty said Fuck Combustion once again!
Tired of the downside, her commitment and strength give me a warm feeling of pride.
The shock seems to be wearing off.
We are beginning to function in ways we did before.
If we ever disagreed about certain things in our lives.......
we seem to be of like mind on most topics now.
Go find your partner and let them know how you appreciate them right away.
Thanks for listening folks!

Just stumbled across this thread. Had no idea all of this happened. Really sorry it did. One thing I can say that might possibly make you feel better though is that when I had my car seized (stolen) from me by police in Texas I was able to get it back the final day of court and I have a feeling your lawyer(s) is a hell of a lot more competent than mine was. Took about 3 months from it being seized to me having to be back in court and getting it back so definitely don't lose hope! (not that you have!)

Hopefully you guys may even be able to sue the police department when you are finished with court. You need to be compensated for your pain and anguish. Let alone the meds that were stolen and whatever vaporizing tools you had in your home. You might not feel that you want to do that at this point.

If it were me I would be wondering who started all the stuff in the first place? I know you just want it all to be dropped and I really hope that happens.

Hearing you explain how unnerving it is just to see the police drive by your home. Also having them questioning your neighbors, that's pain and anguish right there and embarrassing. Hopefully you have great neighbors that realize that cannabis is your medicine and it shouldn't be anybody's business.

You are doing a wonderful thing helping other sick individuals that need to learn and hear about cannabis and vaporizers. Also helping to provide vaporizers to others that can't access them.

Shame on the local police department. They need to be concentrating on real criminals like all the meth and heroin dealers on the streets. I thought Arizona was more progressive than that? It probably depends on what area that you live.

We may never know unless this comes down to full blown charges being leveled against us.
I know you just want it all to be dropped...
Exactly.
Thanks for all of the support.
In spite of us not posting much in way of updates, it is because we are still consumed.
We still see a therapist, and are getting some progress in this area.
We are meeting people outside of our home, and have not allowed patients back into our home yet.
All help is being done on the road right now.
We discuss the "who" of this often, and we have our suspicions.
We try to enjoy each other and remain....

When I see things happen like this, I know the "war on drugs" is on its last legs. Actions like this are no different than armed robbery. And it's no wonder that normal citizens are fed up with police.

I have a long memory, and can't wait until local police come looking for money. That is when I, us and we can make a difference. We can and should defund predatory police actions in every state. Police act like this because of public indifference, taking their money will get their attention.

Thanks KF
You da man.
Patty and I have been hanging tough.
Attorney called and said he wanted to meet with us on Monday.
He would not talk on the phone.
Doctor appointments made this impossible, and he easily switched us to Tuesday, which by implication tells me it is not an emergency.
Please my friends.....
Positive energy and calm vibes needed ..... and the continued positive message to the Universe that:
"Everything is moving as it should be, in the direction that would be optimal for positive resolution of the interruption in our lives."
I will tell more this week.
