Suggestions for a key locked case for travel

After a long go round with my Dr. I have finally gotten the okay from her to get my medical card (she took a month and went back thru my medical file to make sure I qualified). I am only her second patient to apply.
In my state (VT) you must have your marijuana in a locked case when in public/car. This means as soon as you walk out of the dispensary it needs to be in a key locked container.
I am looking for a key lock container that would fit 2 ounces, would be comfortable to carry or put into a back pack. I tend to keep my meds in Jyarz containers when home. So keep that in mind for travel purposes. I have been looking online but really haven't found anything that is specifically made for this purpose. I tend to think that the fire boxes are a bit big and heavy. I noticed what they call "drawer safes" which are nice and small and key opened. Of course they seem to cost more than a regular safe box ($39 on Amazon).
Any thoughts or help is greatly appreciated.

These locking Rx containers are interesting.

I have a little toolbox made by "Excel" that I got off amazon for around $8 that locks using a tiny luggage padlock. You can find all kinds in different size's and shapes doing a search for "lock boxes" or "locking tool box" on amazon.

E bay has tons of locking pistol cases with egg shell foam liners for under $20.00 that should do the trick.

When MMJ was first legalized here...
I ran into the same issue, Now I just have a giant floor safe that is bolted into the foundation.

But, at Walgreens, in the School Supplies aisle they have a "Cash Lock Box"
This little box can hold 2 Oz +(package dependent )including room for other accessories.

Tackle boxes with a traditional "Masterlock" will work as well.

When I had my hips replaced last year, I was the first patient that was discharged with the phrasing ..
"Continue Medical Marijuana" printed on the Discharge paperwork.

When my Surgeon told me that, it kinda felt...uhh, cool?..

I still use the Cash Box when in the rare event where I'm going to be away from home for an extended period of time.

I second the Pelican cases. They are bad ass. I keep my guns in one. I used to work for a company that supplied the military and all the stuff we sold them shipped in one. Maybe a bit too much but no issues with security with one of them puppies.
