do it yourself, do it yourself.

Don't you realize that there's a ton of shitfaced vape-enthusiasts and DIY-toddlers like myself who would cut their finger off by accident rather than produce a viable vaping tool and who would be way better off just paying money for that thing?

thanks, like as I said, I did try making it myself, and it failed, I also tried to silicone attachment and think that a proper hard attachment would be superior.

Happy 4th of July everyone!

I am experiencing something weird with my Mighty. There is a ton of draw restriction when the CU is installed on the heating unit. When I take the CU off and inhale through it, the draw is almost non existent....but when i try to use it its milkshake through a straw.

I have already replaced both screens and checked both o rings and no change whatsoever.

Its driving me crazy!!!

Any one with a similar issue out there??

For reference I have a unit with a low serial number and have had no major issues since Nov 2014.

Edit: I am not experiencing any heat issues either

Does anyone know of any retailers in Canada who are carrying the new hardware revision, be it online or brick and mortar store (in Vancouver area)?

Try checking for a build up on the little shelf under the screen in the CU. Mine did the same thing until I realised I was getting a build up on there.

It's hard to see and to get to but a match will clean it out.

as Stinky said , try to check out for a build up in CU - best and easiest option is to soak mouthpiece and both parts from CU in ISO for half and hour.

cozy apartment for my Mighty and accessories :D

Thanks for the responses everyone.

The only thing is that the CU is totally clean. I removed all the pieces of the CU and cleaned them, replaced the screen in the CU, and the screen in the heating unit, as well as the large O ring around the bowl.

The draw restriction seems to be coming from the heating unit, not the Cooling unit. No matter how much I clean and tinker with the cooling unit, the minute i twist it on to the bottom of the Mighty, the draw gets super restricted.

I will keep at it, and report back any new findings I come across.

with the mighty to conserve you need the liquid pad and after a couple of uses they get gunked up and taste like ass. also the mighty cant milk glass like the nano both good though
I have the same problems with the liquid pad. Everytime I post about it online I get told that I am not cleaning it properly.
Out of curiosity, is there some reason you guys aren't using a half-cut screen to tamp down the material?

Instead of using the oil pad on top of the flower to reduce load to half, I've gone back to the screen but put it on top of bud halfway in the chamber. Does the same trick as oil pad but preserves taste much better. I Use a sewing needle to pull screen out of chamber when finished, fits like a glove."
Just a heads up, if you cut the screen halfway across, it works just as well and you don't need to use a sewing needle.

hey guys,
do you vape other things with your mj in your Mighty? I read a lot about other herbs that enhance your mary jane, and so far I bought some Hops, Lavender and Mint.

My question is, is it safe for the Mighty's bowl? you cant reattach it, and mine gets dirty as hell when I try to vape resin goo on my liquid oil pad. (It burns to a crisp, which leaves burn marks on the bowl's rim. Do that happen to you too?)

No matter how hard I try to iso scrub it, theres still stains on it.....

Someone on this thread suggested using the oil pad to scrub the bowl clean and it worked for me. IIRC someone else suggested using magic eraser, but I didn't try that.

I bought a cloud v terra (which isn't bad for the money) to use in case my mighty had problems, and I just used that to play around with herbs. Some can leave a strong taste/smell which takes ages to get rid of, cloves & pipe tobacco were the worst culprits.

Is anyone else feeling like kind of a decrease in mightys performance. I mean it might be that I'm just getting used to vaping but it feels like I can't even get clouds that big that would really irritate my throat like it did at the beginning and I feel like the clouds are barely visible nowadays. Plus sometimes it feels like the clouds are starting to come out of it after _many_ puffs and it's not even tasting good anymore.

I haven't experienced this unless I didn't grind right and dry herb enough... otherwise always clouds, just blew one now...

As a matter of absolute fact, it's been a M1ghty fine Sunday all around :science:

actually funny thing happened.. I opened the mighty and even I cleaned it with ISO like a week ago and i haven't smoked more than 5g and maybe 1gram of the oil that came from it from my mighty it was totally clogged and this was inside it:
157201-mighty
I mean that is shit loads like almost a gram probably and it looks really weird like some pieces are very hard and some are fluffy like cigarette it's weird looking but sticky as hell thou.. So do you think I smoked the ISO too early? I evaporated it with a fan for a day so I dont think so and my CU screen was on allthetime and wasn't even clogged so how can there be so much of residue inside rly :D Could it be that because it got clogged from that weird residue it gathered more than normally inside

btw the pic works just not thumbnail

It looks to me that your grind may be too fine and/or your screen is too course. Those tiny bits of abv get coated in vapor and become fluffy and clumpy. When I swapped out the stock screen for the finer screen, it eliminated virtually all of the bits entering the cu. :2c:

:peace:

Thats is a good theory and indeed my screen is pretty old in CU and damaged so bits mightve passed. Now when I cleaned it there is virtually no draw resistance and I am coughing haha :D Gotta love mighty

Regarding poor performance I have a Crafty but using non grinded buds I don't get big clouds.
My unit is also affected by poor maintenance since I vaped some oils and didn't clean the chamber or the fine screen inserted in the CU.
Time for cleaning I think.

Ok guys, I got my 2nd mighty on board. #149xx - still 1 min timer and still old housing which means I am gonna be careful with this one, so I might send it back in in 6 months rather than 3.
O-rings are light blue and omg; the filling chamber and inside of the cooling unit look so clean when new. I feel almost bad putting ABV into it.

Also I just realized im on my 2nd bowl and did no burnoff, interesting.

I put the fine screen into the CU but also left the old one in. Let's see how many g i can put w/o clogging the Unt.

Welp, my minivap appears to be on its last legs, so I've taken the Mighty plunge. Bought directly from S&B to ensure I get the most recent model.

I already own a Crafty, so I've got an idea what to expect. But I am curious, are there any differences I should be aware of in terms of usage?

Remove the screen from the bottom of the heating unit and clean with a magic eraser..reinsert the screen and BOOM! For ME it seemed to boost performance to like new conditions

because i was using the liquid pad instead. but i found using either the screen or liquid pad add an extra level of hassle. i have also just sold my mighty as it has sat unused for 3 weeks as it couldn't keep up with the conservation and power of the nano and is to expensive to actually use as a portable ( i am not rich and pigs steal stuff like this in my country)

got a flowermate mini coming to replace it as a portable doubt the vapour will be as good but at least i wont get palpitations if i see a pig or almost drop the mighty lol.

farewell and RIP mighty
