Hello Friends

Yes lot`s action here

The ribbon cable thing is that simply people have been ripping it off

No this setup is not sturdy enough for the general public

On previous image; most likely bend on the ribbon is not cause for malfunction

Because it was believed that there would not be any problems: as it is case with many many users.

So can I take it that you no longer advocate the 'on the fly' battery changing? And that everyone who has paid good money off the back of the ability to change batteries can send their units back and get a full refund?

The Inhalater thread came to our attention recently when a report was made regarding some arguing. At that time, we started doing some digging and are appalled at what we have uncovered; the worst case of sock puppetry and shilling in the history of this forum.

In addition to joining under several names, Inhalator posted as TransHumanC; an account that was used to deliberately mislead membership here. Inhalator used this account to make it seem as if this vape had no issues and to disagree with anyone who thought differently.

Inhalater has avoided his forum responsibilities by not posting since March (except with the TransHumanC shill account and posts today that did not address the problems). We have banned vape manufacturers in the past for coming here and shilling and this case is much worse. Inhalater, in his TransHumanC name, has come on here and pretended to be a satisfied customer and an “official tester” and tried to put smoke and mirrors around the issues at hand.

We've heard second hand information on complaints from some resellers, including one confirmed list of issues from a very reputable dealer who will no longer do business with Inhalater.

Based on this information, he is not welcome here on the forum, and we have banned Inhalater.

We're leaving one Inhalater thread up for those who own one of these models, but FC forum staff does not recommend purchasing from this company. There are other quality alternatives from companies that do business in an honest and honorable manner.

Wow what a shame that the company would do this. I too have been told by Inhalater that they won't replace my INH05 from ribbon damage caused by battery swap. We'll see if this forces them to change their tune. I think I will be writing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. If others do the same maybe we can force their hand a bit as the product was advertised as being able to change battery on the fly.

Does anyone know Greg's direct email? When I emailed admin@inhalater.com I got a response from Paul in sales. I don't believe a sales rep is the appropriate person to handle warranty complaints.

Yes, because all the disappointment should be aimed at people liking the fact that an underhand company has been rumbled?!?
It's the numerous customers i feel for, not only are they left with faulty units/missing units, we have invested money into this unethical company, been fed lies, and listened to the false recommendations of their acquaintances in here.
My hat is off to the staff at FC, they have acted swiftly and professionally to rid their site of dishonest traders, hopefully keeping it the unbiased wealth of information any present or future vape owner would need.

@Underthemoonicp6 Good luck with that, Greg was answering mine and then Paul P took over, though now we've found out their tactics it's probably all one person, several e-mail addresses and a book of names :) I suppose Better Business Bureau could read all the posts on here for a start, as a way of giving your inital contact a bit of credence?
I've started trying to fix mine and am going to make a different way of loading the battery, tis a shame to waste something that cost me £169 and the fact that when it was performing it was doing the job well.

Funny I just today am noticing there is No "dislike" button....

I for one am very disappointed....and then to see all these folks liking this makes it even worse feeling....
:puke: Happy 4th...... I'm out....
I feel that the like button serves a different purpose depending on the situation. In one thread a lot of likes may mean we actually like the information being posted, and in another thread it may mean that we acknowledge a post that was made and have no more to say on it. I'm on the latter in this case, as I have no dog in this fight outside of honor (whatever that means...), but am acknowledging the developments in the thread. So I don't think of it as everyone liking a company failing so much as a "thanks" for doing the legwork in the back room and keeping the community in mind regarding the situation. I hang out on a fair few other forums and have seen shilling go on and then the company try to buy their way out with stuff. To be able to come into a forum where the manufacturers are held to a higher standard and have mods come down on them with no special treatment is a really... Not nice, I guess comforting is the right word? To know that we're somewhat looked after. This isn't the first time a mod post of that kind gets likes. I can't speak for the rest of the people that liked moms post, but I think they share my feelings.

Now back to our scheduled programming :)

just an FYI to anyone that thinks going to the BBB is going to do anything.. a company has to first be registered with the BBB in order to file anything against them. Not many companies now days actually register to have their company listed on the BBB so any threats to file a complaint with the BBB is rendered useless if Pharmacor Technologies is not registered with them.

I've had many issues with them since the INH004 model to the INH005s. I feel your pain fellow portable vapers.

wow, I'm finally able to LOG IN for a change and all this bull happens.

As it turns out the product is great if used effectively. I've been routinely cleaning the inside of the unit underneath the screen>>> did that again just the other day.

KEEP IN MIND: I'm just a customer, I don't work for anyone here. These guys had me worried last year because they have such a terrific IDEA in principle here.

At the beginning of last year I had recently purchased my 004xp and had LOST TRACK of this website and hadn't been checking in to see what was going on at Pharmacor.

TO MY SURPRISE (perhaps others here missed it completely)
While I was looking away from the goings on they did a KickStarter campaign to raise money for packaging, components and they detailed how they needed $50 thousand to push forward the idea. The deadline was my BIRTHDAY and crap, I just got money from that to spend, and I had missed it, not to worry though.....

They got $15 Thou instead of their goal of $50 thousand. Now, what they accomplished to push forward their great idea to the next stage of development was good enough for me to pay what I paid.
AND they included me in that campaign even though I was late to the dance. We talked about the grinder package, but I wanted the bubbler so I got the Ultimate.

I eventually got a bubbler, a vape, cleaning supplies which is essential to open the screen, take it out and clean inside, and there was a grinder.

I had used my 004 xp sparing because I wanted the cleaning kit and had targeted this PICK tool.

It worked, I cleaned, I do this rather routinely - it probably needs to be done 5 times a year at least depending on your level of usage, perhaps more.

The air intake holes get all clogged up pretty bad, but with a plastic pick thingy, I'm able to pick out the stuff and suck it out afterwards using my mouth & lungs.

I have 20 shoulder CAPS or PERMA the full time ones that provided you clean last forever.

I've pointed out to GREG/FRED that they are the coolest vape company ever, but that's with the recognition that any unit they make that fits those polimide capsules they make will be a hit with all the folks that gobbled up those PERMA caps.

I do believe that is the key feature here and they have made the product cleverly.

If you wanted to think the battery issue is such a huge problem, you've overlooked that life is not always fair. Pharmacor's approach is great, and I even paid for a now useless battery charger not even realizing that it uses UNprotected cells.

Still, that charger could be used for something else, and that is life. If you're looking for the best NON-oil vape or BUTTER, well, this is it. If you have alot of PERMA caps, you'll get hooked.

Maybe if many of us vape fans hadn't fallen asleep in life and MISSED their KickStarter campaign, this would have raided more money, they perhaps could have made different choices on the components.

We shall never know, but they are still in business, they are not avoiding customers. They are avoiding STALKERS they are avoiding people that don't respond normally understanding that your not the only one.

Being that I understood this I waiting till February to get a WORKING model in my hands, but I didn't hassle them, I realized that I had paid them by PAY Pal which is easy for them to track on their end at Pharmacor. I knew they would eventually get around to it. I also knew they preferred it if the customers came on here to deal with things. To that end, maybe some customers started expecting things that were unreasonable.

I prefer the 004xp unit that I have because the CAP holds on alot firmer. It looks more heavy duty. I prefer the GREEN light over the blue one. The two units work about the same for me, but the 004xp worked better at lower temps.

I use both thru the bubbler. I've fitter the water attachment with some drilled out cork stopper that I run one of the inhalater clear RUBBER tips thru, then I connect a capsule and insert it until it pushes up against the water attachment and is held firm by the cork.

It tastes great.

If that battery runs dead, I'll let y'all know about that. I'd probably go to an electrician here in Toronto and I would try to have him rewire stuff. OR a watch repair guy perhaps. Maybe both.

Everything works though for now, so I'm not alarmed, but yeah, I'm sorry and disappointed, but only in the sense this community of users here might evaporate.

I still think it's the coolest vape ever, and it will only get cooler the fewer people that have it.

As more and more people would buy it, it's not something so UNHEARD OF and some of that magic disappears in the process. But mine both work. I'll be ordering a 3rd soon. I'll get the one they are currently offering and then perhaps maybe shoot for a forth.

I wouldn't consider another vape company just yet, but figure there would be one guy.

I'm in Canada. Maybe these guys with the best vape design don't have the PERFECT product because of some perceived flaws. But everyone here was in love with the IDEA.

that's what I still am. An idealist that DREAMS. I will admit, long ago Pharmacor said they would be coming out with a 12 pack HOLDER around the same time as DISPOSABLE caps were introduced.

I'm maybe loosing hope on the 12 pack holder coming out any time soon, but everything else, it has gone well. I did get the 20 PERMA caps, 'cause I re-read that page right at the start of the004xp and noticed that PERMA was better than DISPOSABLE.

for that reason, I knew all of these issues existed and chose NEVER to try to open my unit.

I knew because I'm a journalism major that sniffs things out. So I knew, I even warned some re-sellers that I was WORRIED they might never bring the 05 to market. It's a company that had to count pennies in order to bring out the 05.
\
So inhalater, I give you credit for bringing out the 05 and now the 6.

I also know that OLD SCHOOL will still be BUSted for using his and maybe not being as OUT as he states it.

Keep inhalating pholks. Never quit, and always clean after prolonged use of the units.

I was referring to the Inhalater Thread...... although I still get an email notice and I was intrigued to see who might still be posting after all this happened.....

Absolutely I'll be caught using my Inhalater.... more difficult is to catch me without it..... ha ha

I was pretty miffed though... even with the forum gods but then I began to read the Grass Hopper thread and now I'm thinking I've seen what a conduction log vape with a convectional boost is capable of... I wonder what a convectional log vape with a conduction boost might be able to do......

I just drift away.... dreaming of the possibilities...... :science: :peace:

yeah, I'd have to agree, I like that possibility too.

The grass hopper is a vape I'd be interested in using. Not comparing though. Admittedly I like the idea of using my Inhalater/s with several caps sitting there in my pocket as my MAIN system. I'd have ZERO objections to having a HOPPER in my pocket as well.

I'm just looking at the possibility of both. But for pure convenience it wouldn't really take up a lot of space, it's smaller than an Inhalater and I could easily pass it off as a pen, so it's nice and discreet.

I'd still be taking the inhalater caps with me - could always transfer the substrate from the cap to the Grass Hopper, but the CLEANING of the inhalater has to be way easier.

I almost look at the cleaning of the unit as the main sticking point. You'd have to carry a small brush around - probably not that hard. I sorta stress that because if INhalater or Pharmacor didn't have the BEST OVERALL IDEA, then probably the grass hopper would have used capsules and that would make their system worth $250-$300 each

with out the exchangeable caps and the ease of use to clean it's a different price range.

Look for me to get one of these grass hopper vapes in the future, but like many others I don't believe Inhalater is dead or OVER. The two company's back in 2013, Inhalater was ahead of the grass hopper development wise. These two companies are simply on DIFFERENT TRAJECTORIES.

Like the stock market, one thing goes up at a time when another similar thing goes down.

So I'd admit I'm not here to shill and I'd have an open heart and mind and try both.

Save your inhalaters if you've got them though. don't give up early, it aint over by a long shot

the grass hopper makes sense HEY? but maybe they're like a second fiddle to the inhalater OVERALL and inhalater is the true MASTER!

Actually, from early reviewers, there really isn't any cleaning maintenance with the Grasshopper and to easily empty the chamber, the pen clip works great. IMHO, Grasshopper Labs technology far surpasses what Inhalater has accomplished, but YMMV.

Just from my experience. The Inhalator brand is a gimmick. Its in the same price range as some of the top portables like the air and pax but cannot compete with either. I had an INH 05 and INH 05s and both were miserable and both malfunctioned. I never understood all the praise this thing got but now seeing that it was the company posting other names i felt this post was necessary. I would rather buy a crappy GPEN herbal cape then another Inhalator for 200+

while i appreciate this i would like to add that both of my INH products (XP AND 05) both work very well. they produce clouds like crazy and have always extracted very well.

im not however a big fan of how the company operates. they did replace my 05 after i tore the ribbon wire when first attempting to replace the cell, but now see that they are not doing so. not cool. i feel they could have used a different electrical connection type to eliminate this from happening. and did not cuz the ribbon is cheaper.

this device had crazy upside, but INH has never taken it to the level most here are looking for.

i am only posting this so readers know that this vape isnt a complete scam. the company does do some questionable shit though.

Again i have owned and had enough experience to know good vapes from bad ones. The taste wasn't as advertised. The extraction was plain awful. My unit needed to be replaced after a week hence me getting the 05s. Which was the exact same thing. For the price i wouldn't recommend it over a Pax Alfa Air or Crafty.

im not trying to say otherwise. what i am saying tho is that most got units that did indeed work.

i also have quite the extensive vape history and know what im looking at. my INH products can milk glass with ease. i can get the abv as dark as i want w/out ever combusting. i can honestly say that my INHs extract fully w/out question. those who purchased and got less than this performance simply never had properly working units.

which is another reason why i do not like their operations. they would tinker with shit and dif batches of the same model performed considerably different. i remember that i was one of those who had a "hot" XP. i was an early adopter. a week goes by and INH starts making changes and now the units going out do no extract well enough. they made numerous changes to the XP soon after it came out. calibrating the temps differently.

i dont blame you for thinking their product is shit if the two units you received were shit. mine on the other hand were not and i thought it should be noted.

that is good that people recognize both sides of the equation.

The manufacturer of the INH considers all things, but has a different piece of the TRUTH than we do alone as users. They have been driving around negotiating different weather than we do in our different locals. They have experience bumps in a road where there ultimate goal was to INVENT something they themselves obviously also use. I say that because their exchanges and emails with me do demonstrate that. They use it, they love their invention. they acknowledge the $15 thousand that was collected to push the idea to the next stage was WONDERFUL and a GREAT BLESSING but those are my words.

2clicker >>> thanks for setting the record straight and backing these guys, other wise this thread would end. I'm sorry to say I'm not going to purchase a vape from someone on here, but from the manufacturer probably directly. I'm also not able to do this anytime soon, but I'll be after the INH 6 after all even with the so called battery issue. For me I can live with that as long as it fits the 20 re-useable shoulder or PERMA caps I have.

My coffee was great yesterday. It has a unique taste because I put the vaped remains in it. I have not since the weekend, but at least that gives me a bit of a taste for the product. I adds a very identifiable flavor to the coffee and I don't know if it will ever rival TIM HORTONS, STAR BUCKS, DUNKIN D's or Krispy Kreme, but maybe if I never try to sell it, I can keep the secret for real great coffee locked up in the fc forum\\

I am on fc going to migrate over to the other vape I am interested, but I prefer not to compare, and I just wanted both. I will commit to buy a grass hopper from hopper labs, and I'm gunna follow Old School into that thread and partake. I've already been recommending them to SOME PEOPLE that don't have budget for the INH, but I also tell them they may want to hunt down the 004xp caps on line that are for sale and see if those are the shoulder caps. FOR poor people I cannot honestly recommend disposable caps as this will be something they would hunt me down over. THey would likely go back to rolling papers out of frustration with not being able to AFFORD. That said, I have one cap like that - it's lasted more than 10 uses so I'm do tell them the big drop off is that you'd have to reload the hopper on the fly a little bit more obviously and difficultly. Even in states where everything is legal, it is a bit more difficult. I do believe having both systems wouldn't hurt, because you could load the hopper from an INH cap.

INHALATER has not given up and their new offering is something that I am just as excited about getting as a hopper if not more. But I do really want to emphasize I'll have both, I don't work for anyone, I use what works for me. Many people here are right this didn't work for them, they moved on and they warn others not to fall - into perfection though that's what irked me. This thing is honestly NOT a scam. It's something that any one of us could have made the same mistake. It's a tale I am confident will get better and for those of us that are the beneficiaries of best results, we've got the same thing in our hand that the manfacturer, ie greg fred use themselves.

For that reason, please don't let this thread die, and please if you are making a purchase if you can afford the INH experience please come in to the forum and leave a message saying something such as:

TODAY I'M ORDERING AN INHALATER

if you do this, we can all follow your story, and others considering making their purchases can see for themselves what your experience is like. I'm confident the company wont push you around, sluff you off, but please treat the unit like gold, if it works it's slightly better than gold, and no it won't melt.

I've never had off gassing. I've never had bad taste except after the substrate is BROWN> at the end of the session it tastes bad but that's relative 'cause I've done the re-vaped stuff and it tastes bad so I don't consider it to be as bad as some of the rest of you. I'm also ADDICTED to smelling the TIP after my session, so I might be the wrong person to ask about the taste. Just don't vape as LONG of a session and you shouldn't run into that problem

FOR NOW, I'm taking a break and popping back into the fc forum in the HOPPER thread. I'll then be reading it fully. I'll be committing to buy both and INH 6 and a hopper.

but in a perfect world we have competition, we'd have the best design pushed forward and I'd almost ask the two designs to merge and use what worked for both of them. GUys that's a perfect world though and it isn't. I like both designs. IN a perfect world though where nothing breaks on you I'd have wanted 10 INHALATERS and 200 Perma caps and I'd throw lavish parties all summer long. That's just me though.

Yeah, I once came close to buying an Inhalater05. I was gunna grab one from a great FC sponsor. I was worried about warranty after reading different stories here, so I wanted to go through somebody i could trust. And that was not Pharmacor. So I decided I better dig some more. I read about melting plastic and the terrible response and attitude from their representatives. Somehow, I was still interested.. i messaged a few members and told them how I was feeling, and that maybe I should steer away towards a similar vape, from a Canadian company.

Ever get those eery feelings and decide to stay away from something? Those can really save you sometimes.

Now after all I've read and collected, I'm really happy I never pulled the trigger. FC mods are unbelievable in what they do to protect the consumer, the everyday medical user. They care about ethics, and that plays a huge role in making decisions about purchasing things. I love this community.

many good caps were shot over the weekend. Really amazed how much fun 6-8 caps with the Inhalater seems to go. I currently have a little container with compressed vape remains that I typically like to toss in with the coffee grinds.

It's compressed, so it's packed in probably about 6 grams or maybe slightly more than that ready for some coffee to be ground up.

Just watching cigarettes being tossed around right now between some DEVOTED smokers. It never escapes me how I manage to avoid the bad smell of the smokes and I don't have to go thru smokers cough or any breathing problems like these smokers beside me.

must get more substrate to load my caps - otherwise they just sit there useless doing not much.
