God this nano is not going to be good for my wallet. That's not good because my wallet is already hurting. Let's be real though, my wallet was hurting before I even bought my nano. Buy hey, no regrets and I don't regret having it!

But I find myself wanting to take another hit with it throughout the day just so i can hold its warm smooth wooden body and don't get me started on looks. My maple burl is just so pretty! :luv:

Those all sound delicious. Do you get them tested? My brother and I are starting up a mobile testing operation. I almost never believe the names of any strains. I trust growers, but only through experience, never from claim.

How do we know a Bubba Kush is a Bubba Kush?

Oh, also, this makes me feel very hopeful of my future with my nano. I am right about 5 grams every week or two, if I can stretch it. Can't wait to get back to getting the full effect again!
I live near the OCEAN.

30 grams a week combustion!

6 -10 strains at a time as long as we keep it under 8 ounces!

Just had a GonG of ANIMAL COOKIES!

Everything is tested!

I hear ya! I will say the nano was roughly 1/2 of my disposable monthly income, after bills.

If you were going through 5 grams a week combusting (you didn't specify), then the Nano will pay for itself in a few months, + your lungs are happier, + you are joining a community of wonderful people, + you get to support this amazing company, + you shit yourself with every rip. Who doesn't love that.

Does anyone vape oils on their nano? What is your technique? I am going to try to find some steel mesh I can put in there over the screen to try to hold the wax in place before vaping.

Any tips?

That's kind of my ritual. Grind coffee, pour into french press, while it's steeping take a few hits off the nano, pour lots and lots of coffee into mugs. Off to work! :ko:

Oooo, French presses are awesome, I really want to get a glass stove top vacuum pot. They just look so cool :p

Or if I could fine one as cool as this:

I feel you could do something with ABV easily with this as well. Or I'm dumb.

Oh YEAH man! I'm always up for these fancy shmancy ways of making coffee because although I just like plain Americanos and brewed coffees, I like that shit to taste fancy shmancy!

So before I left my buddy asked if I wanted to get coffee before work. (Duh fucking of course) so my nano was heated on 4.5 and ONCE again I see my nano and say "just one bump to get my head straight" :p
So it's on 4.5 and I turn it to 7.75 and wait 10 seconds. i take the hit and turn in back down to 4.5. Repeat steps for last two hits.

Now I'm not sure if this actually had any effect on the nano or vapor quality but I really enjoyed doing it and the point of the story is, it's just another way you can use your nano! :haw:

For sure, I tend to crank it to 10 right when I wake up, do my morning routine like brush my teeth get my keurig ready. So roughly 3-4 minutes go by and I get back to it, I'll bring right back down to 7 where I like it and it hits perfectly every time. That's if I don't leave it on, typically when leave, I'll drop it to 5 or so
and when I come back I do the same thing.

Does anyone else prefer using their nano to dab instead of using their rig?

I don't know if its just me but I feel like 1 dab (.05) can get me baked to the point I don't even need to finish the bowl in my nano.

But in my rig I don't seem to get nearly as medicated unless I take multiple dabs, and even then I don't feel the same as if I were to use the nano.

I started hybrid convection dabbing with my nano by using a gong with a pinch of herb and a small scoop of 99+% thc powder that needs a little bit of a boost of other cannabinoids and terpenes. And I tried some on cotton. The dosage is easier to control multiple hits rather than one big hit on a quartz or ti nail. Yesterday I got some 80% grease like clarified oil (tangerine sativa) and put a bit on some diesel cookies herb. I couldn't finish the bowl and got a bit too medicated. All Was good after about 30 minutes or so.

So, about that wax. How do you guys put wax in your stem?

By the way I dislike coffee. It's more dangerous than alcohol sometimes.

First the flavor, then the buZzz settles in....
Just odered my D020 and a vapor blunt pinnacle water tool from the DHgate/sunshine store. Thanks to you guys, thank you for the love and this wealth of information!!!

Hopefully these two additions will help me not work my lungs as much. By the way, does anyone draw vapor from a bubbler by using the stomach/diaphram as a vacuum? I want to know your opinions and suggestions, I have done it and I like the mechanics involved, but I was reading somewhere that it is not healthy drawing vapor down there instead of the Lungs.

For people in the U.S.A happy 4th of July weekend, please be responsible with all your toys and most importantly stay safe.

The glass elbow piece came with the bubbler. The glass mouth piece I bought on ebay for a couple of dollars. The tubing is "food grade" silicone tubing I bought on Amazon.
I'd be careful about that tubing you quoted me. It has a max temp range of 500f, and the nano can go up to 560f. Thanks for the info, man!

The Nano Core can get up to 560 degrees, but the tubing is in place after water filtration. I'd guess that the vapor at that point is 80-100 degrees. I've been running that same tubing regularly for a few months and it rarely even gets warm to the touch.

That actually sounds like something I may look into next, I'll bring home an IR gun from work and test. @Ratchett - you have access to one as well, correct? I'm now curious to see temperature changes in the bubbler/water itself.

Edit: How's the fit and finish on that UFO @hd_rider? Is it a v1 or v2? I really want that piece, but hesitate after all of the broken and warped ones coming from Steven lately.

the problem pieces have been the fc1000 i think nihil

i have the v2 and it is by far the best piece i have had from dhgate. massive thick base, good thick glass throughout and it gives a smooth massive hit. using it right this second with the solo, had the eq hooked up earlier. whip works great too

hope that helps

You know, I think I believe you in this. After water filtration it really shouldn't be even NEAR that heat.

I have an entry level FLIR Thermal Imaging unit, but it works nice to see heat loss on vapes (and my 3D printers). Although I think you won't be able to measure the temperature of the water inside the bubbler - the most you can read is the temperature of the glass (make sure you set your emissivity setting low for metal and glass surfaces!)
