As someone who leaves the Evo on for hours at a time, I can't understand why you're having issues. Something doesn't sound right. I would submit a support ticket if I were you. :2c:

:peace:

Okay preicate the advice ill email them and see what they think about it. But still damn. This would be my 5th? time sending a unit in. Shipping adds up. But whats even worse is that i don't have a back up vape :uhoh:

Ive tried the suggested start up process but i found it just warmed my unit up faster and i reached that uncomfortable temp a little sooner than usual. I think my lungs/throat are just irritated by the extra heat it starts to produce after being on for a while.

I just don't understand how some can leave their unit on 24/7

dry tube or water?

Perhaps you don't need to leave it on. I've read a few people have noticed that the newer units heat up pretty quickly, no need to heatsink. If I leave mine on for 45 minutes the vapour gets thin & uncomfortably hot even when I back off the temp a little.
Lately I've been turning mine to high & waiting for the green light then turning it back to my desired temp & waiting for the green light again. This takes about 5-7 minutes & I get cool thick vapour. Suits me perfectly, I turn it on have a couple of ELBs then when I'm ready toggle it off. It's very quick & convenient & I can leave the heat shield on.
The people who replied to you here would know more than I do but maybe you could try using it this way for a while before sending it & see if it suits you. I'm seriously enjoying it now.

I got an email for 20% off coupon until July 6th and at the bottom says they Evolve a friend and get a free hydratube program is going on through July. Do these stack? Am I reading that correctly?

We are experiencing the same exact issue after around 45 minutes. My issue isn't really producing a good vapor. My issue is the time amount that it is able to run. Sometimes my sessions can last up to a few hours and its annoying to wait for it to cool down then heat back up over and over

I leave mine on for hours as well. Especially on the weekends.

About to take down one of my famous "flerrl" hits before bedtime after having my EVO on for a couple hours.

Whats your flerrl process? Sandwich a dab in flowers and put it in an elb?

Basically, that's it. I ball up the dab and roll it in flower first so it's "encrusted" then I sandwich between more flower. Tastes great and no messy elb!

Cheers!

Hey guys, It has been awhile since i have last posted but I wanted to share my experience with the customer service.
Last week Monday when I was using the EVO, I noticed that it was smoking the herb which never happened before. I looked in the glass tube ajd it looked like there was a crack in it. I put my hand on the backend of the vape and sucked air to see if I could feel a pull and I did so right away I contacted customer service.

They got back to me within 24 hours and by that Thursday it was shipped out to there repairs department. They got it on Monday, Repaired it the next day on Tuesday and sent it back to me that Tuesday and I just received yesterday which was a Friday!. And they did not charge me! I have never dropped it or anything so i was really unsure how it broke.

The new glass looks real nice. Seems thicker, they changed the lights so now its really bright. Before it was a dark fade. Also, the weird thing is that the unit has not been shutting off after 60 minutes. Has anyone else have a unit that does that? Did they give me a brand new vape? I never really liked the auto shut off since I like to keep it on and ready for me but I am not sure that is normal.

Thanks, and I hope everyone has a good 4th!!!

Does dhgate or somewhere else carry 18mm hydratubes that are reasonably priced?

Hey guys...
Just wondering...since I have the European version of the EVO, I noticed that the cable is not grounded...
Its fairly easy (and cheap) to change to a grounded cable...the question is... should I ?
I mean why not?

Because the ground wire would have nowhere to go? I'm not sure, but a friend took theirs apart and noticed that the ground prong wire went nowhere. I think this may have been for the previous Cloud as well? I could very well be wrong, and design changes could have occurred since then, but my assumption was that they looked grounded, but weren't. Welcome back again Mosh!

I love running the Evo with the dry mouth piece for the first hit or two, and then immediately switching to a giant tube where i can rip out the rest of the goodies without almost any taste. Currently using a HiSi tripple chamber i've had for years. I think @stonemonkey55 even had one way back in the beta days too. Still to this day, nothing is as fun to use with the HiSi or any large tube then a Cloud or Evo IMO.

That is actually not a bad idea to get the most taste yet balance it with a good hit.

Its perfect for tasting a particular strain, finishing a load quick, and getting nothing but super smooth hits. Even on a high temp, that first hit through the short dry mouth piece is smooth as silk. I then take one to two more dry drags depending on strain, bowl pack, temp, moisture, ect. and when i get the last good taste hit dry i immediately switch to the HiSi for 2 or more huge but smooth as hell hits. Tis lovely.

Anyone have advice for something convenient to hold ELBs in so they stand upright? Ideally something easy to put them in, so I can pop it out of the bamboo and quickly place it in even if I'm completely stoned.
