Agree. Easy to use. Works well with whole bud, which is nice. Big clouds if you want. Easy draw, too.

Yeah, the size of the clouds and the efficiency of it all (at least for a conduction vape) is really nice. It seems to produce clouds as big as any portable, so I'm quite the fan. The battery life thus far has been impressive too. The standby mode it has really keeps the battery alive for awhile. I used it for a good 2 hours last night and didn't drain the battery completely.

I'm not much of a portable guy, but this is making me a fan.

So, I just did an accidental durability test with this thing. Left it on my car roof in it's bag and drove off. At some point it fell off of my vehicle which was moving about 30mph the whole time.

After about 20 minutes of (panicked) searching, I finally found it. Turned on without a problem. So, I'my happy this thing can handle a pretty decent wack. Makes me more comfortable with bringing it hiking.

I found a glass button used in a dabbing rig, I guess, at a local store. It is perfect for using instead of a top screen. works great. Nice machine.

How suitable would you say this unit would b for a newb to vaping? It's time for me to make the switch to vaping for health reasons, and seeing as I'm always on the go and out in my Jeep, this piece is appealing.

This is a great vape for newbies....can grind or load while bud. Great taste...pretty fool proof..

Lol, damn I'm good. My assistant mentioned to me today that someone at a party he attended had an herbal vaporizer, but he didn't remember the name.

So he drew me a simple outline sketch from memory, I thought for a second, then I went "That's the Vapium Summit!" sure as shit that was it

It is.

It enters are a reasonable price point and it has a lot of good qualities for an "intro vape." It has a nice range of temperatures and is easy to use. The battery life on it is certainly good as well. It's durable and it hits well.

For the price point, it really is a good vape. I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

thinking really hard about a Summit. Are the accessories (except for screens) necessary? I see it on vaporworld for $149, seems about the best price around. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance. PS, I own a MIghty and need a 'backup', will I be disappointed? one last question, coupon code on vapeworld from FC?

Go to puffitup.com. Same price there, plus a 15% FC discount. When I got my Summit, I first looked there but at the time Vapium had an exclusive with Vapeworld. So I got it there, but kind of wished I had known puffitup would get it, cause their customer service is stellar. I like to support them whenever possible, they are that good.

Yeah, maybe the Summit would be a good backup for the Mighty. Unfortunately, I don't have a Mighty for it to backup. It's very simple to use and can hit hard. I also have an Arizer Air, but I like the Summit precisely because it doesn't require a bunch of delicate, fussy little glass pieces. Fill, press button and go.

The glass button I use instead of a bottle cap top screen is designed for a Happy Daddy Ti Genesis. Fits perfect and cooks the top of the load and acts as a spacer for lesser loads.... A must IMHO...see if puffitup.com has me? 20 bucks or so....PERFECT FIT!

I've had !y Summit for about a month with no real complaints.
That is until about an hour ago when it nearly set me on fire. I was using it on the way to the chipshop to get my supper nearing the chipshop I turned my unit off and put it into my back pocket of my jeans. After ordering my food I could still
feel a lot of heat in my pocket so I took the cape out to notice smoke coming from the door to the bowl. Although the lights were still off the unit was just getting hotter and hotter. Charing the plastic above the bowl. This continued until I guess it drained the battery. Now as soon as iplug it into charge it just heats up again even though turned off. Not the safest bit of gear I've owned.
I'll only be burned once. I've just dropped my money on a mighty as I hear they shouldn't try to burn !y arse off.

I bought mine directly from Vapium and got handed off to Vapeworld anyway for handling the warranty. NO REGRETS. Because Vapeworld's RMA process is the best I have ever experienced with ANY product of any kind. And I unfortunately have had to RMA this vape more than once. This is still a new unit of it's type and I love it when it works. Just wish the PCB was a little more dependable. So don't throw out that packaging for at least a year, for piece of mind.

And... I bought my Flowermate from Puffitup on 4/20 for $54.00 plus a grinder. And it was fast shipped too. This was the best budget deal I could find on what is considered the Black Friday for vaporizers. Ask Puffitup how the Summit's 1 yr warranty is handled. If he sells you the unit, but Vapeworld exclusively handles the warranty then that is a GOOD THING, right? Might be worth buying 2!

Oh, I would also try to keep the vapor path clean on this portable even that much cleaner. I've had a strange black buildup form on the bottom of bowl screen. After some looking around, It seemed to be the residue dripping back towards the bowl, while having it tilting up when it is busy heating itself to temp. Wondering if this is partially causing some of the malfunctions some of the other users are having? Also. I suspect this grade of plastic and the seals are NOT ISO alcohol friendly. So I only lightly dampen the pipe cleaner that comes with it. wipe of any excess, then clean the vapor path. Hope this all helps.

I bought this unit and have already had to start the rma process with vape world..I bought this for a hefty price markup at my lhs just because I was in there and bored and had heard good things about this outdoor type rugged vape and needless to say off to vapeworld..it heats up fast and I get one halfway decent draw and then no more..if I change temp I get one more draw then nothing..only get one draw when I change temp then no vapor or nothing..have tried numerous grind type heavily on the fine grind..this is what's weird when I first emailed vapium I got an email back from Serena with a whole way to try to use this vape and she stated more than once that with this type of convection unit that it is all dependent on the way your draw speed is and how it can affect the temp..I emailed back and said this is a pure conduction vape and I was instantly put in touch with vape world or vapornation. I get the two confused..whoever handles it..lol

I have sent !y unit back to my supplier and am getting a refund. I must point out though how good vapeworld's customer service is. They contacted me through this forum and offered to help sort out my issue. They even offered the postage to return it. I had already sorted it with my shop but kudos to them for going out of their way to help.

But I am upgrading to a new unit but have to pay restocking g fee of up to 50 percent so I'm a little bummed but hey they are honoring a warranty that I bought somewhere else but I guess someone has to warranty this thing and it's a bummer that I have a bad unit..you live and you learn..

Yes, I am having a similar experience. My unit stopped charging (tried several other USB charging cables) so I just spoke to them & got the RMA process started. They sent me a FedEx label. But they said it could take 14 business days to turn it around! Damn, I was planning on taking this thing to the beach within that time.

So I asked about a refund cause getting a new one would be faster. I got the same response about a 20-60% restocking fee! The woman I spoke to was very nice and very apologetic, but I still let her know I think those terms are BS.

Damn, I should have just waited till puffitup.com got it and ordered from them. I told her that, hoping to elicit better service, or at least a competitive response, but no luck. Too bad, Randy would get it here in 2 days and go above and beyond to retain a customer.

VW is the sole distributor for this vape, so every one purchased from anywhere but the manufacturer goes through them one way or another, that's why they do the warranty work for them. So yeah, they don't care where you get it, because it goes through them one way or another. But they are a solid company and only charge the restocking fee when you don't want a replacement. Otherwise they would replace it for free under warranty.

Yea, Even when you don't buy a vaporizer directly from vapeworld, they still treat you like one of their regular loyal customers. When I owned the Summit for less than a month, that I bought earlier directly from Vapium and then later had to return it to vapeworld, they even offered me an alternative! +/- stocking fee and +/- price difference for a different portable vape.
I eventually decided to stick it out with the Summit and my current replacement is working OK, so far. But, It was really nice to have that option and not having that feeling of being stuck with a bad choice/purchase. There rapid return policy takes even more of the sting out of a bad experience and the waiting. Oh the waiting....

So I got one of these a couple weeks back at the suggestion of none less than Sinclue himself. Since he (and Dreamer whom I miss....) goaded me into Solo I had good reason to trust his judgement in vapes. Once he told me Randy at PIU had suggested it to him to take on his 'dog walks' I couldn't get it out of my mind........even though I don't even have a dog to walk.

I originally decided, after checking it out and reading most of this thread, to get one when a good deal came along as they often do. After thinking how clever some of the features were I caved and bought it from PIU with the 15% FC discount and am glad I did. IMO a very impressive little guy, I'm glad I didn't wait on it.

I noted early on what a lot of the traditional nay saying by guys who never saw, let alone tried, it. Not necessarily helpful, but it seems to come with the territory. However there was also some pointed ridicule of the marketing hype about 'designed by cell phone engineers' and the like. With claims that only vape experienced engineers can possibly design a small hand held temperature chamber with a mouthpiece. I hope at least some of those guys finally tried it out and got a chance to eat their words?

Like ESV this is not another 'formula design' vape. Far from it. This is an 'outside the box' engineering effort by sharp guys not wearing blinders. While it doesn't have a removable battery, it also doesn't use the same old cylindrical steel cased battery it seems. Rather it uses a cell phone type battery so the package is smaller than it would be if designed by 'enlightened' vape engineers. What a cell phone engineer, used to making small, tough, feature filled packages, delivers. Like ESV. IMO features like the vibrator for stealthy status notification is also a neat feature, although I understand from a video review there are a couple others? It takes an engineer with experience in parts like that to ask the 'how about....?' questions that really make ground breaking progress (not just copy of another design or a different package).

The details are 'right'. For instance the SS tube to the bowl (very much like VB!!.....only better) is welded to the bowl. No seals, no leaks, solid design not found on other vapes AFAIK? The sort of stuff 'experienced vape engineers' don't seem to do?

I think it's not ideal of course, I too have details on how I might like it better, but there's no denying it does a bang up job for part of the market. In the 'whip it out, grab a couple hits on the sly, and get going' class IMO it's running with the best. The 'funny shape' is actually a feature when it comes to using it or even putting it in your pocket. Vapor is top notch too, IMO, nothing to complain about. Close enough to Solo to not worry. Easy to clean, fast to reload.

A lot of nay saying also went on around 'not really for outdoors', which I don't really agree with. It's probably the best candidate I have for a trip to the garden, or to ride in a pants pocket to stay handy. I doubt a typical fall would hurt it, the magnetic catch on the MP means in extreme cases it will harmlessly pop off rather than break. The magnetic hatch I love. I'm getting good at 'flipping it closed' (letting the magnets do the fine alignment along with latching. The loose charging port cover is small change indeed IMO, I leave such things off unless I need them and it comes with plenty of spares. Yes, you can't take it swimming, but that's a feature I don't need. Nor do I vape in the rain, but would pick it first for a camping trip I think.

Did you know, for instance, you can pop the cover off to stir and put it back on withing 15 seconds and continue the session? IMO a great design feature, no doubt based on experience.

If you're inclined to neat, compact, easy to use, reliable vapes please consider this one, don't be scared off by early conjectures. Check it out.

Mine just took 46.6 seconds to make my selected heat (step 4, 374F). It's worth noting it starts up at the heat level you last used, not at the lowest like most do.

My average load runs .16 grams or so. But since it heats and cools so fast it's easy to shut down and resume later. It's a natural for this mode IMO. Smaller loads are no problem, no spacers needed, just tamp it gently down as you normally would. It's a SS bowl so the unfilled part is not an issue past lowering the volume of vapor available (due to lesser volume of the load).

Super simple once you decide on the heat step you ignore two of the three buttons. Hold the 'go' button (the big one) down for 3 seconds and it buzzes once. When it buzzes 3 times (less than a minute later) it's ready to hit. When it times out (90 seconds or so to save battery), tap the button again (quickly, 3 seconds shuts it off) and it buzzes once and you're off again. Anytime you can change temps or hold the key down 3 seconds to shut down (two buzzes this time).

FWIW I got an Imax plus about the same time (Randy again, $55!). A nice unit in it's own way, but not a patch on this guy. FM Mini, while a nice unit IMO, is also not serious competition as it needs setup and all.
