Quick question.

I picked up one of the dimmers while i wait on a VK vvps. This one. In black.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RBXPDQU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

My question is. When not in use how far should i turn it down? Like 25% (from zero) good?

And this will increase my doggies life? Or only when its turned completely off?

Thanks fellas.

Oh yea... Still combustion free ... Well for herb anyway. If i could toss these cancer sticks id really be winning.

@WoodVillain again i agree 100% with @Madcap79....i made a scracth in mine which is right about my sweetspot and then i turn it about halfway down from there.....just enough so that the wood is barely warm to the touch.....
I know they arent for everyone but after smoking cigs for 20 years i started using an ecig about a month ago and havent had a cig in 21 days ....they work for some people

may be off topic but I watched this last night and thought other UD/wood lovers could relate. Short documentary on Japanese carpentry

Building Without Nails The Genius of Japanese Carpentry

I watched it last night and loved it! Unfortunately no UD, but I kept the spirit alive with an Apple! I've done some carpentry, I'd never really looked at the Japanese style but I definitely got into handmade joinery and using all wood construction when I saw this guy's video, it's a (mostly) handmade foot power lathe:

Hey Underdogs, we're back from our adventures alive and will all limbs still attached.. success!

I see that the website has been cleaned out while we were gone so I suppose I best get busy in the shop on both 'vape special' pieces and ones for a refresh. Some blanks for customs have also come in while we were gone so those will be the first priority though.

Alright, time for this Dog to go to work. :borg:

Welcome back dogs! How was the trip? No injuries this time, I hope!?!

Thanks! The trip was awesome and no injuries (sore muscles don't count right??) to report for once.

I found the king of all Logs and was preparing to tie it to the top of the car when Underdogette showed up and put a stop to things... I mean, seriously, total buzzkill you know? :brow:

Whats the biggest UD thats been done?

I think it would be sweet to have one around 7" long... But still only around 2-2.5" wide. Call it the "Mastiff" :D

Since im typing already.... Do the screens come out of the nylon stems for cleaning/replacing? Or can you just soak the entire stem in ISO?

Either or.

Just get something to push the screen up if u want to remove it.

Needless to say, to you at least. Do not soak, dip or submerge the WonGs. Remove the UD SS tip if u want to soak it.

Oh ok, so you push the screen back up through the mouthpiece instead of pushing it out the metal end?

im sure i can get it clean enough with ISO for now, but just so i know when the time comes.

I normally clean my wood with drool  :freak: i try not to submerge it too much... But some wood is real purty :haw:
