Discontinued Vapir Rise Vaporizer

I drop mine in denatured alcohol (any alchohol's fine) for about five minutes, then I put them in dish soap and wash all parts like they're dishes. I dry them off and put a light coat of essential oil on the plastics and gaskets. Don't use too much oil it will smell way strong. A nice light coat of peppermint is my favorite; it really opens your lungs and nasal passages; it almost feels like you absorb more.

The alcohol doesn't ruin the plastic parts or anything? I read on the net somewhere that it wasn't safe to use the alcohol on the plastic parts. My biggest issue is the nozzle and the metal around the plastic part that holds the plunger.

I'm OCD about keeping my vapes clean. I thought my nozzel piece may be leaking vapor, I called up Vapir and they sent me a new piece.
I dont leave it in the alcohol long and than I washed it off. The nozzel piece, I clean, in between big cleanings, with a q-tip and a pipe cleaner soaked with Iso.

You can drop everything (all the top attachments) into alcohol - all the top attachment too, and even the hoses. The kind of plastic used is similar to the NO2, and it's really a carbon-fiber heat and chemical resistant material. All plastics are not created equal.

Well thanks for those updates.

ISO it is. Noticed my nozzle was getting bad after a week. Cleaned it with the brush that came with it. And the plunger gets really grimed up on top of it where the nozzle sits.

Any way to clean the yellow out of the hose and make it clear again? I used ISO last night and dawn dish soap. Still a little yellow haze.

A friend has this unit, and it's outstanding. It's a beast for group sessions, medicating five or six persons with one load in under five minutes without breaking a sweat.

Compared with my beloved EQ, the party adapter and the raw power makes the Rise a much better unit for groups. You don't have to work at all, it's like a space age 4 hoses hookah!

So I'm curious if it's possible to buy the old bag hook up for my rise? I like the idea of the nozzle and making my own bag. This allows me to buy turkey bags or any other bag that'll fit oppose to the $3.99 Vapir bag that'll last for 10 fills max lol. I tried eBay to search for the old hook up from the previous rise. Vapir sells the old chamber but not the balloon hook up on their site.

Vapornation has them under vaporizer parts. FC members get a percentage off. Check for them in the supporting retailers section on the main page. I should get an extra one also.

Wow thanks for the link on that. There is no black piece for sale to clamp around the bag eh? I guess i just use the blue o ring?

Shame they didn't allow those to come with the 2.0. In my opinion they seem a lot better.

We just slap a turkey bag at the end of a hose, and tie it up with a tie-rap. That way, you get a hose to pull from the bag, and it's cheap.

Now I use a 6" SSV hose to put in the bag (because it's stiff enough to use a zip tie and not crush the hose). Go to the hardware store and bring a clean hose from your Rise and find a hose the Rise tube fits into that's air tight and stiff enough not to crush; use this hose for inside your bag. I put 3" of hose in the bag and zip tie it. So you have a turkey bag with a 6" tube half in the bag (lol). I mositen the end of the Vapir tube and slide it into the stiff SSV hose that's in the bag.

Note: After you get a tube at the hardware store call seventh floor (the makers of DaBudda and Silver Surfer Vapes) and get their tubing. While the tube in the bag doesn't get hot, to be safe get the silicone safe SSV tubing. I wont off gas.

Episode- Have you tried zip tying the soft vapir hose directley to the bag? I assumed it would crush the hose and not get a good air tight seal.

I may just buy the old bag hook up and use the O ring and some other bands to hold it in place. So easy order aftermarket bags. Don't want to use the bags with the cap. So unappealing to me.

I don't know why Vapir changed it. I know one thing, it's fun to experiment.

Still yet to hit a bag since I bought it about a week ago. Whip is just convenient.

I've had the original version of the Rise for over a year now. I think I've used the whip maybe three times. Like the bag much better. You owe it to yourself to give it a try. :)

Just feel the bag will provide way too much vapor and ruin my ass completely. But then again, I don't need to fill the bag up full haha.

That's the spirit!

I remember doing volcano bags back in 2006 when it was a new thing. I filled up a big bag and got wrecked off of it. Sadly. That was my only run in with a bag. I have a tendency to over do it. Time to try a bag in moderation.

Just noticed this, small amounts of vapor still come out with no fan. Didn't notice it till now.

I bought a vapir rise 2.0 a couple of months ago,my wife and i have used both the whip and the bag and we both agree that the bag is so much more fun and it gives you a real laid back high,
I can't say its been a trouble free machine because the first one only lasted 4 months ,i did get a replacment under warranty ,the first one came with the early style bags and filler and the replacement came with the hose filler bags and caps (which i think feel a bit cheap compared to the early system),the build quality on the second unit doesn't seem to be as good as the first one so i hope it lasts.anyway thats my story.::

I see a wonderful weekend in your future!

It's gonna be either fun

Or wicked fun

Anyone seen the new hot chamber grabber? You can now finally use it while pushing down the top part on the hot chamber.

I also love the HEPA filter in the base. I don't know much about the air path, but at least I know I'm not inhaling lint and dust

Very happy, what a nice kit.

I feel this machine is under-rated and under-loved, but it's certainly not under-powered.

Before I sold my EQ I tested its power with a Kill-a-Watt device. It uses 60W while heating, and 20W while maintaining heat. The Rise pulls over 220W from the plug while heating: the performance is brutal and in your face. No wonder it can provide enough vapor for 4 users at once. The 120V cord plugs directly in the unit, no bulky power adapter to carry around. No glass to break either.

The deal breaker about this unit (I already knew about it) is that it never stops pushing vapor in your face, so if you use the whip, you kind of feel pressured by the machine :ugh:. No matter if you're at speed 0 on the fan, you can't just leave it like that for a minute or two, like you would with the EQ. That's why my friend uses a 18mm elbow and a D020-D bubbler at the end of the whip. That way you get water goodness  along sheer power, and no vapor can escape. Here's two D020-D hooked to his Rise.

And for balloons, this unit is nothing short of outstanding.

I'm happy :rofl::rockon:

Did somebody order from Toronto vaporizers? Lol.

I have the same one bro. I love it. Let me know what you think. I vape no fan and on 188C. I put less than a .1 and get wrecked. Glad someone else purchased it and we can talk.
