Ughhhh I wish I would have had patients and waited!
Don't feel bad, I'm about to order one and I'm NOT using the massdrop. I hope it gets more people interested in e-nano, though.

My reasons? FCLOVE

Even with the price drop, I want that lifetime warranty, and I don't want to wait for it to be shipped by the 20th. I'd rather have it sooner.

This reminded me of that bot on reddit that goes around and corrects all the misspellings of definitely.

What do you mean, close to vaping the bud directly? What concentrate solution do you use?

I need to try my EQ somemore?
it hasn't medicated me yet?

The NANO right away gave flavor and medication the first go!

I ordered 4 new GonG's 2 x 14mm and 2 x 18mm.

Water World this weekend!

My NANO is WALNUT like yours!

Everyone has their own requirements in a vape. I just grew tired of the work it required to use the EQ, found myself using my vegetable glycerine extracts using a RBA, especially now with the temperature controlled mods that are out there now.

But when I really want to get baked, I would turn to the EQ. It has left me wanting something better lately. SO, it's going to be loaned out to friends who haven't tried vaping yet. If I really need it, I can always get it back.

I'm a big fan of walnut, my favorite cane is hand carved walnut. As was my favorite guitar back in the day.

I definitely missed that one!

I do all my own, both nicotine and canna. It's a vegetable glycerine based extraction, the process has been evolving for the past 7 years. Used to use alcohol, but it extracts things I don't want so now I use a different process completely. That's off topic for this thread however. I plan to start posting in the concentrates section shortly on my latest method has had a few more tests and I get a chance to write it up.

Took just my third turn on my new maple e-nano a little while ago. The first two goes earlier this week I simply warmed at 6 for around 20 minutes before hitting it dry to kind of establish a base line. Wonderful flavor, and an effective buzz. I was a little constrained time wise so managed only a couple of light hits each time, which did the trick just fine for me. This time I warmed up at 10 for a little while, then backed down to 6, let it set for a few minutes, then hit on a tiny amount of medium grind. Produced a little more vapor than the first two sessions, which doesn't really matter to me (I'm not a cloud chaser), but I definitely caught a roasted flavor that I hadn't experienced the first two times. I wasn't used to that so I checked the bowl to see what color it was. A nice medium brown color; no black. So the flavor plus the easy draw are the two big upgrades I can observe at this point. But I've got lots of learning to do. I'm a low heat low vapor kind of guy, managing my buzz by the number of low heat hits I do. So I think next load I'll either push the screen a little further away from the heat or lower the temp to 5.5 just to see how that works, see how low I can to go for my minimum setting. And of course when I get the appropriate opportunity I'll just set it up on the table, turn up the temp and have a good solid go at some higher temps. Just to start gauging my upper level temps. I have to gauge those levels too. Just to be fair.

Thanks for all the shared wisdom, folks. I came to the nano somewhat prepared due to following this thread. Even so, I'm looking forward to lost of future experimentation.

Yeah, you know what? Same here. I'm so impatient I wouldn't want to wait those weeks. And the lifetime warranty is definitely worth it. USPS.com says expected delivery Monday also!! I'm not holding my breath though because they never fail to deliver to me the day after when I'm really excited for the package. :goon:

I decided that the massdrop price is too good to pass up for a Walnut Nano. As an owner of two custom UD's, I am excited to get the Nano and see if they play nice together LOL.
I saw the MD sale as well but I have 2 UD's and don't think they can be that different. I'd love to hear what your experience is after you've tried both.

I see it two ways. First, I love my UDs and even if they are the same niche of a vape, I will love it too. Plus I love walnut. Second, supporting an American Made product. Even though I am not sure if Andy supports the Massdrop or not, it is still his fabulous product.

I understand about supporting USA products. I'm trying to curb my VAS. I bought the UDs in part because they are less money. Plus I don't know how much the e-nano staff show up here but the UD folk are regulars on their thread and amazing. I'm also about 6 months away from a HI. I know e-nano owners love them as much as I do my UDs.

VAS? I googled it, but none of these meet the context.

Also, HI still have a backlog? I'm pretty sure nanos are better. At least that's what I found from research...

Luckily this is the nano thread.

Thems is fighten words:goon:

I'm joking but seriously.;)

They both have their cult following as do UD. The Hi will alway be back ordered, due to the one man show who does it on the side. A known 1+ year waiting list and growing, that should hint something.

But not trying to derail. I love my nano just as much as all my logs. Each one holds a special place in my heart:love:.

@CarolKing Ì have JACK FROST that is amàzing!
I have been trying to get 30 grams of PERMA FROST with no luck.

I'll most likely get my 30 grams mixed with JACK FROST.

My new NANO is awesome to the MAX!

EDIT : Just had a purple NANO GonG of DEATHSTAR OG!

Ì was using a FC186 tonight
Tomorrow D022 with a chasien!

NANO and CANNABIS are awesome!

It's over a year wait. And people on the waiting list have e-nanos and underdogs just as e-nano owners buy underdogs and vice versa.
Ah. Must be nice to have disposable income. Also, I'm just the mindset of I want one of everything, and I want the best one. I honestly never even considered having more than one log vape.

I'm honestly wondering what the differences are. Why do they hold a place in your heart? Any special reasons?

Having a vaporizer you use less cannabis, therefore more money to spend on vaporizing supplies. Some folks like to collect them. Think of it as a hobby and never a hoarder.

Oh I don't judge. I learned long ago that people do weird things and it's not any of my problem.

I just thought people might have reasons, like one works on oils better, this log vape is made of diamonds, or something. :D

I like the Nano because each is a one of a kind that's made by hand in the U.S. I chose both a custom Cherry and a Walnut, they are both beautiful. I liked the first one so much I had to have 2. They are a sturdy well made vaporizer made with care and precision.

An important factor is its good flavor and it doesn't use a ton of product. Even when I am at the end of my session the herb doesn't taste harsh, the flavor keeps on going. Also a lifetime warranty for FCers isn't too bad either. I own several other vaporizers but that is the reasons I like the Nano. It's priced right, around $200.

I can't justify spending over $400 for any vaporizer IMO.

First the flavor, then the buZzz settles in....
That's pretty extreme, but have noticed similar and posted about it here often. Don't know about the ohms, or even amperage. I think it has more to do with stress on the whole electrical system you're working with and dirty power. Some surge suppressors, long extension cords and using an d/c > a/c converter do it too. I'm not sure but my central a/c seems to even have an effect - tho that is probably in part due to ambient temp drop. Just another reason why it's hard to do fair comparisons of temperature settings from nano to nano here.

Andy posted something a while ago (month or so?) about not having amy more produced until he can find a decent blower/glass shop to produce good ones consistently. As @DieHard said, the solo cup will work. It's a little loose, but stays on just fine. I've been using mine a few times a week.

The good old straight D020 might be just what you're looking for. They're cheap, have a good bit less volume than the -D and can be had from the most solid vendor on DHGate IMO - SunshineStore. Don't have a -D myself, but have one that I am pretty sure has same can. I wouldn't say D020 is half volume, but estimate it is less than 2/3. D020 is a nice little rig!

Think you made an excellent choice!! Be sure to let us all know how you like it!

Glad to see you're stepping up to the nano too, @The Stranger !! Interested to hear how you think it compares to the herbalaire. That's one that is on and off my "next vape" list regularly.

Must be a lot of accessories!! You know I really like Andy and love Epic, so want to see him make as much money as possible, but you can get away with a GonG and the included stem and have plenty to get exceptional performance from your nano - just make sure you don't break any glass. On the other hand, I think shipping is the same no matter how big your order gets with accessories, so could be better to wait and get all at the same time.

Man!! That is a great price, especially once it hits 15! That is about what pre-order price was at introduction a couple years ago. Month wait, but probably worth it for many.

Thanks buddy. I didnt know the D020 had a long line of bubblers. Its rather awkward the way the search function works on dhgate. I mostly stumble upon things there because I find it here or because they show me on the dhgate page, because when I look for something specific it will turn up as infounded.

Thanks again buddy. I am definately getting this one.

Also for some reason I can never get the same results if I heat up my nano for 45mins to an hour on 6.5 as opposed to when I am on time constraints and heat up my nano at 10 for about 7 mins then 6.5 for 13 minutes. The latter just roasts the bud and I dont get much effect from it. While the first gives me flavor and good buzz.

how do you guys/gals preheat the nano to give you consistent vapor all the time? I understand some people leave it on all the time, I wish I could but I cant for certain reasons.

The instructions boasts a 2 minute heat up time. At that point I get little to no vapor and hardly any buzz.

I definately have more vape income since I'm not disposing half of my meds thru combustion.
I never pictured having even ONE log...until I tried @Melting Pot 's Nano. Now fast forward and I have a Ramon Burl E-nano, Big Leaf Maple Burl UD, Buckeye Burl UD, and a Walnut Mini-Dog. Now on the list for a HI. They all are different. Different wood (especially in a UD with no vvps) will have a different "vape signature". The will perform differently. They are like Lays Potato chips...betcha can't have just one.:brow:
I have 3 vapers in the house so there has to be more than one!

Unreal to be honest.

I've been looking for a new piece and I've been really interested in two pieces on DHgate and was wondering if any of you guys have paired them with a Nano.

The two being the Torus and Straight Fab clones from Steven.

More akin to whichever one has the least drag.

Thanks :)

There are differences. The underdog is made locally, is less expensive and comes with several stems. It's handmade and beautfiul as is the e-nano. The e-nano comes with an adjuster that the underdog doesn't have but which can be bought separately. That makes a difference to some people. I don't think there is a "best" log.

I haven't tried either of those. They look really cool. Here's one I might get one day: http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/2015-new-height-15-5cm-glass-cake-bongs-thick/236437216.html

There can be, but only for one perspective at a time. I appreciate people like other things. We all prioritize different values. I'm somewhat indifferent when it comes to how my vapes look. I'm far, far more interested in how it works. :D
