Happy Father's day to all the Dad's out there!

Few exciting product announcements today

Allow me to officially introduce the.....

Scoop-N-Stir Vape Tool

After weeks of painful waiting for prototypes, rev_5 is a winner! I received a very limited quantity of stainless steel Scoop-N-Stir tools which I confirmed work perfectly. The scoop side works as expected, and the stir-side works beautifully in E-Nano glass stems.

I know a LOT of you have been waiting on this scoop design. I'm happy to say it's finally done. Sadly I only bought a handful of copies of this revision which will be sold out shortly. I've just placed a large order for more Scoop-N-Stir tools (including the gold finish option). Next batch will be available by mid-July (I'll post an announcement when they're in stock).

I have been having some difficulty working with Shapeways on printing the alternative "Scoop-N-Poke" design. They have rejected 4 revisions of the same design. I have literally taken the final Scoop-N-Stir design which they accepted, hacked off the end and added a poke tool and it STILL got rejected. I need to send a long detailed email with both copies of the models and pictures of the printed part to confirm that yes, the model CAN be printed! Hopefully I can get that resolved this week so I can get those in stock next month.

I know the prices are a bit higher than what it should be, but that's because of the overhead costs in 3D printed steel. I'm hoping advancements in 3D printed metal technologies will help me drive down the price over the next few years. I'll be sure to post updates once I find a cheaper source to print these parts.

Moving on..... allow me to introduce the

Underdog 14mm Female SonG

This was a special request by several fellow FC members. (Big thanks to @Madcap79 for donating a SS tip to the cause). This silicone adapter will fit an Underdog Stainless Stem Tip, but I'm sure it will also work with a variety of other vaporizers and whips in other configurations.

Lastly, allow me to introduce the

Small Honeycomb Organizer

This organizer was designed to hold the various small accessories I use with my vaporizers - screens, picks, scoops, GonG adapters, and other vape specific tools. I whipped it up last weekend in an effort to organize some of the various bits and pieces strewn over my table. It worked so well I figured I might as well share it with everyone.

Phew! It's getting hard to keep up with my inventions. If you're counting, we're up to about 31 inventions so far on my store. I'm targeting 50 before the EOY.

Until next time..... Keep those suggestions coming!

Jack of all trades, master of none.
I can confirm that the 14mm female SonG works GREAT! I've been using it with my bubbler. It can't hold the weight of the Dog but I always hold mine anyway so it's not a big deal to me. Perfect for 1 or 2 big rips to get medicated. Thanks @Ratchett for making it come to life! :science:

I will definitely be getting a Scoop N Stir and that Honeycomb Organizer as soon as I get a job and have some money lol!

Awesome products and designs once again @Ratchett! Job well done

Annnd... the scoops are sold out! Haha I knew those would go fast! No worries, I just ordered another batch - hopefully they ship sometime in mid-July!

In other news, I've finally seen some progress in 3D printed glass!!!!
http://3dprint.com/75286/3d-print-glass-micron3dp/

Not quite what I was hoping for (fdm technology means overhangs will be a bitch), but I'm sure I can come up with some creative ways to use this technology once it hits the market!

Thanks, nice job.
Do you happen to have a JyARZ Classic, to put in it for a picture? It's a common accessory--wondering if it will fit.
Or a couple glass 18/14 reducers etc to put in it ?
A bic lighter. SCS small shredder behind it. Your grinder funnel.
Some items to get a better perspective of the size
I'm guessing the JyARZ Classic is too big---will there be a bigger accessory holder?
thnks

I think I have a reducer I could toss in it for reference, and a JyARZ Classic I could put along side it (though currently there's no space big enough for the Classic)

This stand is pretty small, mainly to organize my GonG adapters and pokers/picks/scoops/screens I had laying around my desk (The kind of small shit that pissed me off lol). My 3D printer's build volume is rather limited in the Y-axis which limits what I can do.

*However* once I have access to a machine with a larger print (or cut) volume, I certainly plan to make some larger organizers capable of holding SCS Grinders and other larger accessories (yes including HT stands)

Current ETA for those would be Q4 2015

Scoop-N-Stir came the other day. Got a good bit of use out of it last night.

It's AWESOME!! Looks really cool, but you've seen the pictures. 3 things I love about it.

Scoop seems to be perfect size for my favorite level of nano load. I dump my grind into a small dish, then just scoop out one heaping scoopful and it is perfect! Then flip to the stir side and give material a quick push/tamp.

Stirring in the nano GonG stem is simple, quick and effective. Push the tines into the load. Spin a little this way and that. Give a few quick tamps, and good to go.

Third part is really cool, too! Am sure @Ratchett did this by design. You can use the stirring end to set the nano adjustable screen to the perfect height before loading. If you push in until the top of the platform that holds the tines is flush with the top of loading side, it goes to same depth as e-pik notch.

VERY WELL DONE!!

Also... just picked up an imag+ on the cheap (pretty nice. functional not stellar). The Sccop-N-Stir works great for it too! Pretty large oven so takes a few scoops. Works great here for stirring and quick tamps, too!

Great tool I'm glad to have!

Hahaha glad you like it! Pretty fucking cool to hold a 3D printed steel object isn't it!?! Stronger and heavier than I expected, that's for sure.

I've really noticed that thanks to the loose packing my nano (with the scoop tool), the basket screen on my Nano seems to stay clean, no more replacing screens every week.

Sounds like I've finally gotten through to the numbskulls at Shapeways and they'll be printing my Scoop-n-poke tool after all.

More scoop-n-stir and scoop-n-poke inventory coming next month!

Yeah.... Can't believe I forgot to mention that. It is really cool to consider this is 3D printed!

I of course knew it was, but kind of forgot until I was totally vaked. Then while stirring a load it totally hit me... Holy shit! This is 3D printed metal! I even turned a bright light on while sitting there looking at it in amazement. What is really surprising is how well formed and clean everything is. Something else you don't normally think about with something like this, but is really odd there aren't any cask or mold lines. 3D is some cool shit!

Thanks for the other stuff thrown in, too. Used the stopper while cleaning a piece last night! Going to have to try a silicone GonG adapter with the new imag+

Woot! Glad you like it @DieHard!

Successfully placed my order for a dozen Scoop-N-Pokes, hopefully my Shapeways CS rep will follow through and approve the new model as they promised (had to remove the very tip of the poker - they weren't happy about coming to a 0.0mm point, so I ended the taper at 0.4mm instead  )

In either case ETA on the Scoop-N-Poke is July 20th, and the Scoop-N-Stir will be delivered around July 13th.

In other news, I'm happy to report that my International shipping bug has been *FINALLY* resolved. It looks like real-time shipping estimates are now working correctly on the store. You should once again be able to select the most affordable shipping available - USPS first class postage for international orders. If you have any issues with shipping, please contact me asap!

I missed this batch but you can count me in for one or two on the next!

@DieHard one scoop of herb seems like a perfect load for the Herbnail. Any comment sir?

 Yeah I kinda designed the scoop to be the perfect size for any size load. seems like the average full "scoop" is between 0.075 and 0.1g of herb.

I'm really excited about the scoop-n-poke, I think that will be a very popular tool, although I'm still thinking about some sort of keychain hole so I can carry it with me....

But for my E-Nano, I think @flotntoke will agree, the Scoop-N-Stir is pretty fucking awesome. (I actually miss using the latest generation Scoop-N-stir, My older 4-teeth version just doesn't stir as well as the final Scoop-N-Stir :( )

Personally the gold version is my favorite, I plan on keeping one of the gold's from the next batch for myself

That tool, sir, is a huge hit in my house. Everyone loves the stir function!

 That's awesome. I actually get a kick out of knowing that this will be the first 3D printed item you handle (for many of you). That's special to me, I honestly love seeing the spark in a child's eye when they realize what a 3D printer "is" - the few children who get it and start to ask "Can you make _________?!!?!" - it's awesome, I love seeing the imagination go wild (and I'm jealous of future generations who will grow up with this technology). This is a new era in human evolution. And it's exciting to be a part of it.

Would it work well with the Haze cans? Good to hear your shipping options are fixed but because it's OOS I can't get a shipping estimate. Hoping it's reasonable. I need to fill out my @Ratchett collection. :leaf:

Absolutely, I believe the scoop is small enough you could even use the tip to tamp down the herbs

I am intrigued by the scoop. Is it small enough to help clean out a solo stem? I find emptying the solo and saving ABV to be most problematic.

What material is used and does it stick to magnets?

I don't have a Solo so I can't confirm but as long as the inside diameter of the Solo is larger than 8.9mm, you're golden for the Scoop-N-Stir. If not, the Scoop-N-Poke will certainly work (that should be available in 3 weeks).

The scoops are made using 3D printed stainless steel (powdered stainless steel which is fired in a kiln to anneal the metal). And as @DieHard confirmed, they do indeed stick to magnets

With mine, the stir end fits in solo stem and looks like it would work great for cleaning. Didn't check as solo was cold all weekend.

But, the scoop end doesn't fit all the way into stem chamber. Should load it great, but the wide part of the scoop end is just a little wide to go all the way in. Fits to the rounded bowl part at back of scoop.
