crap, I feel ripped off.
No need to, you got a great deal, besides...S&B doesn't seem to give out consistent information.

you can have the latest model without the latest casing...
Guys,

Even with 99 ISO I can't seem to clean out the actual bowl. It's brown all the way around. Any way to clean it?

I use magic eraser too, cold water no iso...works better than q tips, iso, salt and a warm unit for me

Your piece will fall apart within the next 60 days of use (like in daily usage). Just send it in to S&B and report broken fins, cooling chamber connection area and an Err004 for hard and soft-ware issues. Should get a new one easily?

That was awesome. I love how you didn't even say a word. Excellent video, well done . . .
Thank you t-dub, I appreciate the appreciation. Next video I'll angle the light better for an even better show. That was only about .17 of a gram, the little "press" technique while it's warming up keeps the herb together (comes out like a little hockey puck). Whenever I get the "puck", I really get a good efficient and powerful session that tastes incredible. I can use almost 2 bars sometimes on a bowl like that, but normally one (probably about a bar and a third I think).

What's the issue with the cooling chamber connection area?

Lowered? With the shots we have seen they have been raised in the new units to try to prevent some of the cracking issues.

Can you post some pictures of the unit you received please?

The two minute shutoff timer is great news, I'll be returning my current unit as soon as my retailer has stock of the new units.
Here's a picture of my Mighty. I used my crazy paint skills to try and clarify what I meant :)

Not sure if its actually lowered, never took a good close look at the older models so can't be certain.. but for some reason I remember the old units being flush and not lowered.

Edit: this is the 018617 model delivered june 25th by Storz & Bickel

Call me crazy but on mass drop I just put an order on a crafty it's only 259 right now couldn't resist so I'll have a mighty an a crafty

Puffitup has been matching the lowest drop price lately. If you don't want to wait for Massdrop or deal with them for warranty returns then send PIU an email.

I have no idea what Massdrop are like for warranty replacements.

Hi everyone, new to the forum and proud owner of a Mighty for about a week now. Loving it so far but have a question...

Once I set a temp it seems to fluctuate around that temp about 5 degrees. For example if I set my temp at 380 it will get to 380 no problem and vibrate but even without me drawing it goes like this.

378>379>380>381>382>383>384

Then goes back down again

384>383>382>381>380>379>378

Sorry if it's confusing but this is the exact sequence no matter what temp I choose and whether I draw on the vape or not. Is this normal fluctuation or should it stay at the desired temp and not move unless it drops a couple degrees while drawing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. My serial # is in the 16XXX range so it should have the latest software.

I had one unit that would fluctuate by 1 degree but that was resolved with my latest replacement.

Sounds like you got a unit with a faulty thermostat. Send S&B an email, tell them about the problem and then ask for them to send you a shipping label.

If the customer isn't savvy enough to know to ask for them to pay your shipping then S&B will make the customer pay.

Mines is brand new an does same thing I think new software does that from stopping it turning off. Mine functions fine

Your unit fluctuates by up to 5 degrees? That means you are not extracting at the temperature you desire. i thought my old unit that fluctuated by 1 degree was annoying, 5 would drive me up the wall.

My unit also fluctuates by 1-3 degrees Celsius which is about 2-5 Fahrenheit? I think fluctuation is normal and should be expected. And maybe outside influence has an affect on the fluctuation as well.. such as temperature, wind, humidity etc?
