so excited to watch this when i get home from work today haha. thanks for posting it @TheVapeStation
I hope you enjoy it!
I'm hoping with the Ti units you don't need the silicone mouthpiece as much as you do with the SS units
Me too!
i gotta say the battery life, hot tip, and the vapor production do not really impress me.

after watching that video i am not sure how it can even be compared to a desktop vape. maybe its the lighting in the video, but i saw very little vapor. even when the heat was up high it didnt come close to milking that piece. my INH05 and solo can really milk glass... even with small amounts. flavor tho does seem like it would be better from the grasshopper.

this vape looks very well made and def has a market, but im not sure its for me. looks like its great for super tasty stealth vaping for one person, but not much else.

ill keep my eye on this one and hope to see an 18650 version produced.
Most of the time at high temp was near the end. Also I got several more puffs off the last bowl but it got cut off. The battery lasted for another 2 bowls after. That before dying.

The reason I feel it competes with a desktop is simple. I put in way less than any desktop I have used so far. I click it and it is on. If I turn the temp to a 3. Or 3.5 I get vapor that is comfortable to me with decents clouds I can hold in. If I am at home in a bubbler at 4.3 it will cloud up so fast as i showed on instagram. That has become my way to use it now. Load an insanely little anount take a fat rip and sit a bit. I think the vapor production at the beggining was to do the lighting I could see it but not on camera. I have yet to figure out the best lighting trick for vapor. It seems a very bright light near black is the idea but i guess it needs to be brigher than 2 120w bulbs. The actually heat with the silicon tip is bearable all the way up. The vapor for me however does get to much for my taste.

not sure if it was commented on but my innitial though about the odd light situation you had twice might have been the auto shut off... but you thought/assumed you clicked it off so when you clicked it to turn on nothing happened bc you needed the second click... maybe, but watching at work so not paying 100% attention

Really with the silicone tio its usable at any temp if you can handle the punch. But I meant without the tio anything above a 2 is a no go.

I have a feeling this "heat on the lips" thing is highly subjective. Trevor and Matt claimed to Buzz that they never use the silicone mp, Buzz says only uses it for extended sessions and with groups, and now you say use it always when over heat level 2.

I'm going to wait and see for myself. When the Infinity got around many people said it was too hot to pick up and handle and I found out first hand that did not apply to me at all. Same thing with the Evo.

Are you saying that the vapor gets too hot for your taste?
I am saying above that me personally I would like a bubbler. The unit itself isn't too hot but the vapor just makes me cough.

I believe I say it right in the video. It will totally depend on the person and what is too hot for them. Some night not mind it but i do. I could negate that by slightly spinning the pen bit i feel silly doing that haha.

Crap this was suppose to pair with the last response sorry about that.

mod note: Now it does.

extended sessions? can someone elaborate on what extended means when it comes to this one? unless your carrying 3 or 4 cells i do not see how this can be used for an extended period of time. or with groups more than 2 or 3 people.

Just fired up a bag in the Volcano got me thinking... Would be cool if they had an extended front end for home. The Arizer Air benefits greatly form the longer stem at higher temps... although I guess it would be more of a magic wand than a pen.

I mean, I'm just gonna get a wicked little mini bub to run it through but as @lwien said, short vapor path = usually harsh/dry.

I like this idea a lot. Ideally it would be something that looked "stock" - I'd buy it from the GH guys if they decided to offer one. Wouldn't have to be super long. But it would have to fit the GH threading to work well.

Something metal with a little thermal mass could be interesting... so I could keep it in the freezer while I wasn't using it.

Hey my fellow hoppers, I received my Grasshopper today and have been using it at home for the past few hours with varying temps, consistencies, and amounts. Have any questions?
Congrats! Which model: S/S, Ti or Ti Anodized? I'm most interested in your opinion on the heat of both the vapor and the mouthpiece. Thanks!

@ContemporaryShaman are you noticing the tip heat others have mentioned?
Also what serial number do you have?
To all those who have them what are your numbers?
Just wondering if there is any rhyme or reason to shipping and possibility of working out how many sent out.

Shouldn't any speculation/theorizing regarding serial numbers (which many may not want to share in the first place) happen over at the Grasshopper Shipping Poll?
