how is the grasshopper compared to log vapes (e-nano, ud, hi...) I am asking this because I am searching for a portable vape which i can use like my e-nano...

I am using more or less 0.03g in a load (stem) and get 3 to 7 clouds with the nano ... is this also possible with the gh... (

So originally (years ago) there were some comparisons to desktop vapes due to the powerful heater and tech... Can this replace my Volcano? It's probably better than my Arizer Air based on heat up time and draw resistance alone.

Still curious about this vape. A lot of times a new vape or even water tool will have a unique signature and it can feel really buzzy, but it's just because its different. That's how I felt about the AA, but after a while I got used to it and think its kinda weak.
I would not replace my volcano with my GH. The volcano is a bag desktop unit while the GH is sounding like a great portable. If you are going for group sessions at home, break out the volcano. Out and about GH sounds like it will get the job done well. Also a factor is how many people do you want passing a cheap bag as oppossed to an expensive piece of equipment. Lots to consider when consolidating vapes including track record. Original volcanos are still around after a decade of heavy use.

Try checking out the Solo thread or the Arizer Air.

Everything seems to indicate it is, my post got moved to the shipping thread, but based on all the feedback thus far, especially @slcbdco, this seems to work almost exactly like a log or the Elevape, but with no stirring and precise temp control. On demand convection capable of sessioning (but be aware of overdoing it that way apparently lol)

that would be great!!!

i like the elevape but have to use more then 0.03g to get clouds...

i allready ordered a grasshopper...
and as far as i heard the nano and arizer solo/air are similar in use... i have heard the solo and air are not as "powerful" as the e-nano ...

so hoping gh will cure my vas for portables

I like the Volcano. What I want to do is unplug and not fill bags. I just don't see the point in filling a bag when I could just direct draw off it. I understand how some people could benefit from that delivery system, but it's just an extra step to me. I also enjoy running vapor through water and haven't got to do that in a while. Arizer Air doesn't do it very well with its draw resistance. I hear you on track record, that's why I've been planning to get Crafty or Mighty for a while, but have been waiting to see how this thing turned out. I know that price doesn't always equal better and have been curious what these guys really have.

When they first announced this vape years ago I had visions of it being the perfect vape. Oil or flower front end and could fit into water tools with no attachments. Fast start up and strong convection heater. On paper it sounds like its actually pulling the cards, but its so new I'm still unsure. Something to run through a small water tool at home that I could easily unplug and throw in my pocket.

Sounds like the GH will fit your needs nicely @invertedisdead. From all the reports Its going to slow down my rotation of vapes too.

Not much for water myself but I may indulge a bit more with the GH and my PWTA.

I find those extra steps you mentioned sometimes makes the session more enjoyable. Filling a bag, breaking out my mflb and "flipping" to name a few are vapes that require a little more work than a button press and keep things interesting.

GH will be able to get what I need quickly or set up some water to make things interesting.

Early reviews so far sounds really promising. Coming from the Mighty, would this thing blow me away besides the heat-up time? Can someone compare the high of the GH to the Mighty? I have the PAX 2 and it gets me nowhere near as high as my Mighty and I know one user stated that the GH gets them way higher.

Yes in my video I'm editing I load like a pinch less than that honestly in my photo album the pile on the top right is how much it is honestly so little and i get 4-8 puffs depending on the material. It will definately produce vapor with little amounts.

Honestly. It could. If you have a water pipe the ONLY negatives i find with this device no longer exist. You can pack in a full bowl and pass that around in a water pipe and have no trouble. It heats instantly basicly so people wouldn't have to wait on the hwatuo of the cano. I know 2 and a half minutes isn't a long wait but this thing produces the same vapor in way less time. However with no water piece you are better off with the volcano. Because even with the silicon tio some my find any temp over for too hot on thwir lips. But seriously so far I find that to be my only conplaint.

at 35 dollars for a replacement, they better be some of the sturdiest cords available, I hope
Where did you see that? They were at 10$ during the IGG campaign. But When I added one to my order a few months ago, I had to pay 20$.

Some select few, slow rolling.

It for sure outperforms them, pure convection baby!

Good to see you around here bud (still using that sc shredder all the time!)

im close to being in the portable flower vape market and was planning on copping an air. now im torn between the two.

i LOVE my solos so i was sure the air would be awesome.

this looks cool also and now with all the reviews coming in and your word... im torn

glad to hear you enjoy your SCS. love mine also.

This vape is very interesting, but I can't seem to find out what the heating element is made of.
Brass. One of the slow downs in production was getting the lead-free brass heaters. The only reason I didn't pre-order was a desire to see a unit (well, a heater from a production unit) tested in a lab (considering how difficult it is supposed to be to get the lead free brass, in quantity, I feel like a bit of scrutiny on a new product from a start-up working with overseas producers would be sensible).

I love my air. But the hopper makes just as much vapor smoother at 337 than the air at 370 or whatever temp two is on air compared to tick 3 being 337 on hopper.

would love to see some more videos.

Honestly if i have a bubbler around I will be using it alot with groups. If not at 3 I dont find the temp unbearable at all and the fact I can click it off and on. With the silicon tip at 3 a sesion with friends as long as people click it off ahould be fine allthough 3 or more you may need to repack to ensure everyone is there.

Yeah well, its session mix (lot of conduction) vs on demand pure convection, so much more power here than in Air or Solo, ability to finish a load in a few hits and precise temp control.

I sold my Solo and Air bc on demand pure convection portables like firefly and elevape kinda spoiled me. They just get you where you want to be so much quicker, with stronger effects, even with others, they appreciate the hits much more

Ok I'm convinced, this thing can give whitewall on a piece. BTW, that video you quoted with the piece, I shuddered when they slammed down that metal mouthpiece of the GH into the 14mm male (?) joint on that piece!

Metal on glass is a big no-no guys, get yourselves that silicone sleeve lol

Alright how long til I would actually get one of these if I purchased now?

I usually use it just had it aside and figured I would see if there was a difference in performance or draw rate. Answer to that was it doesn't even matter haha. I barely touched the glass my mic on my phone is crazy sensative. In the last video you can hear reno 911 even though i set my tv to like 3. I have used the silicone mouthpiece since though because I thought the metal would give a tighter seal but it's the same.
