This is what the company advised

Using any adapter will work really, your computer USB is perfect.

The white transformer has been reported as failling in 2 instances up to now. The nature of these fails, with some sort of short circuit on the 220v line needs to be avoided. Please bin without second thought.

Hey, you might have a newer one that isn't faulty, was just warning you what had been said to me, it was a white Apple looking one. I very much doubt they would send faulty ones out after they've discovered they are failing.

Yeah white Apple looking one, exactly the same but no apple logo
Funny thing is I wasn't using this, was using my indica one
If not working properly after this charge will have to assume is battery, but that's a shitty life span for one isn't it?
Do the batteries have any warranty?

Had a thought on Pharmacors two three year battery replacement business. There is no way an 18650 used as it is in the 05 would last 2/3 years. The consensus is 300 to 500 charge cycles for most 18650s. It doesn't add up you should only change the battery every 2/3 years but your battery will be of no use in 10/16 months.
Can the person who posted about replacing the thermal fuse please pm me as I would like to pick your brains on doing the 'upgrade'.

But I like it!
Interesting idea about the glass. On further reflection I'm wondering if the glass is actually heated, or if the heating happens before the glass, in which case the glass shouldn't really be an issue, no?

Any thoughts on using the boost button on a water tool? I'm just wondering if I'll be fat-fingering my way into a smaller glass collection...

I don't have an 05, but I do have previous models, 004 and XP. Both work, but the 004 requires a firm tap to power on and the XP has a horrible taste and offgasses visible smoke/vapor. The XP has never been used as I could never get it to stop offgassing with the bad taste that literally coats your mouth. I had tried to exchange the XP and this was the fourth one I rec'd with this problem so I gave up. I was going to do an exchange plus $$ to get the 05, but after hearing how Pharmacor is treating their customer's now, I'm not going to bother. It's seems counterintuitive that the 05 has customer replaceable batteries, yet due to the fragile wiring, it's not even recommended by the manufacturer. There are many more reliable vapes out there that don't require multiple replacements due to failure. Don't get me wrong, as I have had to send other vapes back for replacement, but Inhalater earns the top spot for most returns.

The glass is heated first and then transmits the heat to the substrate; a buffer between the heater and the herbs, a giant increase in heat sink. This plays an advantage with the 004 and XP as it spreads out the temperature.

With the inhalater 6 polyimide is the way to go IMO. It give the most precise control. Press the switch and heat goes in directly to substrate.

Playing with the pulse extractor and a water tool in not intuitive. For those rips just crank the unit up with the knob and use the static temperature.

As far as complaining: I can't go with you guys. I had stellar service at Inhalater. They do their best and are very good at it. Have been changing my battery no problem, I can see where problem can be had for sure so I use my brain and charge the battery every night and need to replace it virtually never.

@TransHumanC sorry you've lost me on your battery charge/change routine. I have four batteries two of which are always fully charged. I swap out each time the one I am using runs flat. Every time I pop that little black cap I hold my breath even before I saw the one @Ruta has. I bought an 05 so I wouldn't have to wait around for it to charge.I wouldn't want a portable vape that didn't have interchangeable batteries. IMO it isn't a fully portable unit if I have to plug it in every time I need to charge it to use it. I can't fault the 05 for delivering the goods. We didn't seem to have any 05s vendors with us. Glad your 6 is doing the job maybe you should have your own thread it is after all a different beast.

@TransHumanC, nice compliment with the 'so I use my brain', you are obviously a lot cleverer than myself, and with that attitude me thinks you may be Inhalater related??
I bought my Inhalater because i wanted to cease smoking, so when i chose it i was looking for a unit with the ability to be completely portable and that was not reliant on plugged in power, hence the reason why i chose a company that claimed you could change batteries 'on the fly'.
I think i have previously stated that the 05 delivers the goods, however, when you start at 3 and end on 7.5 before you know it you've gone through 3 nine minute cycles. Therefore you can easily use a battery early on in the day and need a second charged battery to continue using the unit throughout the rest of the day, so if you're not indoors/place with mains then you would be looking for a vape that allows you to have multiple charged batteries.
TransHumanC also states that he 'can see where the problem can be had for sure', which i take to mean that he agrees with the bad design of the battery removal, however i am not in the position to take his advise on only charging overnight for reasons stated in the previous paragraph. And also the fact that i do not trust leaving it unattended overnight due to past issues with previous models and it's plasticky nature, i have the unit apart if anyone wanted to see the innards?
A lot of this would have been avoided if Pharmacor had been more honest about their 'Interchangeable battery' and i look forward to their replies here to everybody's latest queries, they can't just leave all their promotion work to TransHumanC

@phattpiggie I just charge the unit overnight and I never runs out. Why the hassle of charging the batteries out of the unit and then changing it when the unit runs out? It's obvious that that little electronic ribbon spells trouble. I recall those electronics toy when I was a kid and tried to hold the broken leads with tape. Sure it`s a bummer when one`s inhalater is not running.

My 5 can run 12 capsules or so and 1 is enough for 3 people off the bat. Even at parties the units rarely runs out before everyone is baked and happy. The only one I saw kill it is a medical user who on the day I let him try my XP, consumed 7 Grams in an 8 hour straight shift of vaporization.

OK please open a new thread! How many of us has a 6?

The company is selling it by stating that the batteries can be swapped, just because you do not need to change the battery does not mean nobody should, get down off your big horse, does your last statement infer that anybody needing to change their battery on the daily is wrong?

Don't take it personal. Not because is says that you can change the battery yourself that you should do it.

The ribbon is flimsy. Anybody can see that no matter what the company says.

I changed my battery when i needed to. And that turned out to be 4-5 times over that last 3 years of using inhalaters. And I did not have any problem. I have No pitty for you sir.

You my good fellow are a muppet, simples

Just your statement of 12 capsules off 1 battery is enough to back that statement up, regardless of all the spiel about not doing it when the company shows you how to do it on their website.
I differ in the way that i do pity you

Well I have a working inhalater and you do not. What do you say to that?

But really I don't care. I`m high and happy. WTF is wrong with shipping your units to have them repared anyway?

I was just about to say 12 capsules. That coupled with the 7 grams in an 8 hour session. Not off any battery I have. I have a keen nose and that smells familiar.

'Well I have a working inhalater' what kind of comment is that? I think that's your Mum I hear telling you to go to bed you have school in the morning.

@TransHumanC has made some valid points about the ribbon being flimsy and not designed for it's advertised purpose, and this was my original complaint with Pharmacor not recognizing it as a warranty issue.
However i do not agree with
'Not because is says that you can change the battery yourself that you should do it', i bought a unit for that sole reason at £160 therefore i expect to be able to do what they have advertised it does.
I did not want to bicker but read the posts to see where it all started going wrong, my posts in here were for informative purposes, correct me if i'm wrong

But I like it!
So I'm a huge Inhalater fan. I had some hiccups at first with my first 05 (first unit was fubar, second unit switch went), but after I got over the slight hiccup with sending it back I've learned that sometimes you just have to work at their pace, and not at yours. And the costs some people bounce around for shipping have to be insane - it cost me $11.00 to get to Spain from Canada when the Minivap went back for a replacement core. I've lived in the UK and have shipped stuff to and from Canada and the US literally thousands of times, and it's just not that bad.

Regardless, here's where I'm stuck: The 5, when it worked, was awesome. The 5S, which never had a problem, was even more awesome (awesomer?). And in anticipation of the 6 being even more awesomer (awesomerer?) I failed in a moment of weakness and sold the 5S, expecting the 6 'any minute'. This turned into months, and I've got a couple of other vapes in the meantime, plus one on pre-order (almost 2 on pre-order...) so do I suck up the additional cost for a unit that isn't the same as the one I *really* like, and hope that it's at least adequate? But I already have a couple of good ones - do I hold out for 'adequate'? Or do I pick up a used one of the model that I *know* I like?

There's my quandary. I can't think how to get past it without going to Montreal and banging on the door til they let me in and show me how it works. Anyways, I'm still stuck at this decision gate. Maybe we *do* need a new thread for the 6, as it's a completely new revision, and isn't like the older versions, other than sort-of the body shape.

Mods? @momofthegoons ? Would a new release of a new vape model justify a new thread?
