Pen Imag Plus

Indeed, why?

I'm guessing the Mini has the size issue locked up, and being all glass or metal (no plastic) in the vapor path might have the taste advantage?

IMO the Mini will be a tough standard to beat in those two key areas, your saying that's a given sets high expectations indeed.

So, please, on what points do you base that? TIA

OF

If I am going mini size i use my Pax or Airstech Viva. I like the look and feel of the Imag and doesn't look bait out in public. I have never liked any of the Flowermate products from the get go! Thats my opinion though. I am also like burning the real deal as well and the Imag at red 446 (pretty close to combustion) gives a hot blast like no other portable. If your a smoker and want a cool looking efffective vape and want the ability to get a hotter blast go IMAG 100%. It is a conduction vape (like the pax or viva) but has a short air path from the oven. If your looking for a candy azz vape you would have to keep it on green level or go with the Viva. I would not call the Imag a newbie vape but it is great for smokers going over to a vape for the look/feel/hot option. I have many many vapes for different occasions and I personally use my Imag much more than any of the others for the resons i stated above. Ya an arizer convection is a bertter and more efficent vape but damn i looks bait when out and about. for $100 the Imag and the Viva are by far the best two portable conduction vapes on the market IMO. Anyone looking to save well under a $100 is nickel and diming. The imag cant be any easiter to clean not like a pax. Can you imagine how wack you would look carrying a Cobra vape or a lot of these terrible design units when out? PORTABLE VAPES gotta be truly portable, look cool, easy to clean/load, temp variants, decent taste (assuming your not using bush) and priced well and the IMAG+ Ceramic (with copper tube) does that and there is no denying that from anyone who has a lot of experience with portable vapes.

If you know someone who is a smoker and thinking about a portable vape (and get into vaping) this would be my frist on the list. You have to go with the latest ceramic version with copper tube (feels and looks proper) not a cheap feel especially for the price. This vape should be in any vapers collection a lot of people like it and doesn't look ridiculas

Thanks for the reply and the details. I get it you don't like the looks of any of the FMs, nor it seems there performance?

However, I seriously discount claims based on blazing. That's not the discussion going on here, notice the Forum name? We're about 'different/better than blazing' I think? I'd go so far as to say there are few if any smokers here looking for advice on vape purchases that simulate smoking? We're looking for better. I could be wrong, of course.

As to the last bit, I disagree. Lots of us have some useful experience with portable vapes and don't share those opinions. Like say Vitolo yesterday on this thread? I appreciate your experience based views, more so now that I understand how much of that experience doesn't relate to me personally (I'm not hung up on appearance or sneaking about in public) and smoking based arguments are not relevant I think.

I'm looking forward to mine to find out first hand (due Monday), but I'm a less optimistic now that I find out that your enthusiastic opinion is based largely on factors of no interest. I'll be happy if it competes head to head with FM on the vaping issues important to me (and I think most Members?).

Thanks for clearing it up.

It's essentially the same chamber design now with them both being ceramic. I picked up one from Randy and I like it. The temps are def. on the high side but that's not to say it doesn't do well. It's a vape I got for when I'm with my combusting friends and for those "Quick blasts of high temp."

I can see combustors really liking this vape since as others have stated the 446 degrees is very close to combustion.

@OF I have already used the same MODS that I use on my flowermate. Screen on bottom of the chamber to take load away from holes and screen on top so no bits travel up. I also tried cotton which works very well especially since the cotton gets soaks with oil and it keeps on vaping.

Light up the world
We have many different versions of IMAG PLUS. However, currently our major releases are Ceramic, V6 and V7. V6 is IMAG PLUS with rustless iron chamber, screw-on mp, copper tube body and wax/oil heating cup. Ceramic and V7 are both with ceramic chamber, screw-on mp, without wax/oil heating cup however. The only difference between Ceramic and V7 is that Ceramic version is with copper tube body, V7 is with carbon fiber tube body.
In our early market promotion, we call them as IMAG PLUS ceramic with copper tube and IMAG PLUS ceramic with carbon fiber tube. You may also call them the same way to prevent from any possible confusion.

The old model of IMAG PLUS which were previously sold on W9tech, Wizardpuff, etc, are with iron chamber, non screw-on mp and wax/oil heating cup.

The latest versions (Ceramic, V6, V7) are improved version. except for the major upgrade of screw-on mp, the internal structure is improved too. Air path is completely sealed.
See I told u I wasn't lying about having a imag plus v 7

At Puffitup code: IMAG55 - Get an Imag for $55

Really you have experience buying one from that website at $55 yourself personally (ceramic oven with copper tube)? Product is out of stock on their site and cannot add to cart let alone verify that code. Puffit up has got enough free advertising on this thread so i dont want to hear about "vapor" vaporizer deals that don't even exist at this time. (probably sold a few at that price just to get the buzz (use a few as a loss leader) now you can't get it at all and people talking about deals on this forum that currently cannot be verified. We already went through Wizardpuff nonsense already spamming the forum and questionable practices. Good luck to anyone from now on getting an Imag+ Ceramic with Copper tube brand new for $55. GOOD LUCK!!! LOL

Also the puffitup site says the following:

  • 30 Second Heat Time (Really that depends on ambient temp - i can get 30 second heat time to green if its hot out
  • 5 Minute Shut off (my latest carbon fiber version doesn't do this all the ones i have are ~2+mins)
  • Great air flow for larger clouds ("clouds"?? that a stretch for any vape - blue and red put out good vape for sure)
  • Pure Vapor, no combustion
  • 2 Hour battery life (absolutely false info!!!)

I am tired of the fake reviews, false claims, 1 or 2 off deals that disappear but still get talked about for eternity. All the crappy reviewers trying to get free stuff (oh its so great blah blah blah) and affiliate $ let alone these fake rebrand companies claiming that OEM products are actually manufacturer by them because they changed the name and box (and then resell it on what looks like a third party company but they actually own as well). Crowd funding for a online retailer to purchase in qty etc enough is enough and its time to start calling out all these "reviewers", "affiliates" , "rebrand" companies which if it keeps up I will start blasting THE TRUTH. Sorry for the rant but its true and is getting tiring in this industry.

I believe the aesthetics is extremely important and pulling out a FM in public and putting in a bait clear MP does not work for me at all! Taking out a portable vape in public is an amazing bonus and not looking like an idiot with a FM or Arizer sucking on a clear glass/pyrex tube). Try walking down a street, concert or bbq with a black IMAG vs a Arizer product / blue FM with clear tube in it. LOL And I said the IMAG at "RED" is a bonus since it can simulate smoking (because it is similar in diameter to a cigar or a mechanical ecig) how is that a bad feature considering it has 376 and 410 settings as well? Trust me if you want to convert someone who smokes blunts to vaping this is one of the best units even at 446 (they can progressive phase lower and then into other vapes as well) since it is still vaping! I have the Carbon fiber edition (with ceramic overn), woodgrain with ceramic no copper tube, black ceramic with copper tube as well as the the original with the wax cup. That being said I do have much more experience than you do with the product and probably understand better than the manufacturer since I contributed direct feedback in improving the build and design (as well as a few other members on this forum). I am not a vape begger doing YT reviews looking for free vapes giving phony reviews for affiliate websites or buttering up the manufactuer with nonsense hoping i get more free crap from them (like some on this forum - won't name names or channels as well and is rampant in the industry through YT as well as OEM rebrands). I have purchased every single one. FYI the Viva is a better unit than the FM as well. So it might be better for you to use the product(s) for 4+ months then get back to me and then at that point I can give you the latest on the latest vapes. (i have access daily to pretty much every portable vape on the market). Thanks

Well, actually they are quite real. Mine is charging right now (got here a few hours ago). It seems I'm not alone in buying them, stock out now. Not at all uncommon?

We disagree some on PIU, I think they're a top notch operation, very solid and supportive of this Forum.

While some reviews are more trustworthy than others, IMO there are a lot of honest folks out there trying to call it true.

I'd advise being a little careful where you aim your rants unless you're absolutely sure of your
"THE TRUTH" and even then I'd suggest treading lightly.

Your call, of course.

Thanks again for clearing that up.....again. I've really got it, I just don't share those opinions/values. I hope you can see how that might happen? And how that might make your originally unqualified 'I'm an expert with lots of portable vapes and can assure you Imag is better than any FM' statement not as useful as it might be otherwise?

For instance, like most here I no longer blaze so have no interests in that direction. That's a big factor here I think?

There's a very wide spectrum of users out there. Both MMJ and Recreational. Which vape is 'best' for one is likely not ideal for the next. Lucky for us the market provides lots of options (and more coming along all the time). I think the goal here is to give clear opinions (and the reasons behind them) so our fellows can make more informed choices. In that vein I'm looking forward to trying my new ($55) Imag Plus (Ceramic) out first hand, and once I have some experience based opinions that I feel might help others I plan to post them.

Thanks.

I didn't buy one. I received an ad on my email. @OF said he had ordered one. Someone asked for the code so I replied. It's friends helping friends on FC.

If Puffitup wasn't a reputable advertiser here on FC I wouldn't be suggesting them. You are a new member, I guess you don't get it yet. It is wise to be a smart consumer that is why I use Puffiup. There is another plug for them.

So you got your IMAG+ ceramic at PIU for $55 with free shipping and grinder (how many do you think they sold at that price??) I can guarantee you they are losing at that price but winning since a few are going on and on about them on this thread with fee advertisng YET they don't have it in stock nor can that code be verfied so at this point it is a "vapor" deal. I know exactly what is going on in this industry in every aspect and the affiliate/forum spaming/loss leader/vape begger reviews/other questionable biz practices/rebrand nonsesne is RAMPANT!!!

I didn't buy one. I received an ad on my email. @OF said he ad ordered one. Someone asked for the code so I replied. It's friends helping friends on FC.

TOO BAD ITS ALL OF SUDDEN NOT IN STOCK!!! Lets see when it does get back in stock and how many are available at $55 then post back here. Don't care to hear about 1 or 2 off deals LOL We have a new PIU spam campaign started here.... and they don't even have it available. So your going to speculate that you can get it in the future or why not ask them directly and post up their written response (this should be interesting) I am not falling for their handful loss leader deals they will be noted on here for eternity.

Puffitup is very respected on this site for their amazing service and products. I got the email as well. They probably did sell out since the Imag is getting popular for first time vapers. For the record, Puffitup just started selling legit Chinese vapes (FM Imag).

I ordered a Haze from them, and it was out of stock.Randy emailed me an hour later to tell me they were in stock and even gave me a deal. You should email them or message them here on the forum about the Imag and the deal. Randy should have you covered.

Yes or no did you get an Imag+ Ceramic with copper tube from PIU for $55 with free shipping? Yes or no do they have it in stock now to order at any price let alone $55. SORRY don't care about a short term loss leader deal or something that doesn't currently exisit since its not in stock! Since you have "Randy" on spead dial or better yet email please get it in writing: -when it will be back in stock - exactly what model and color it will be - and the CONFIRMED PRICE - they have 2 prices listed on their site and the newly famous $55 "vapor" discount deal!! - too bad its not in stock LOL Nice try PIU your break even/loss leader deal isn't working on me. PUT IT IN WRITING YOU WILL HONOR $55 with free shipping then i will take it seriously. NO MORE SPAMING OF THIS COMPANY ON THIS THREAD and get focused on the product. They are claiming a 2 hr battery life (LIE), 5 min session shut off (someone show us a vid of this because that is new news)

Their site says 2 hr battery life that is clearly false. Can you also verify their claimed 5 min session timer. Yes I am crusading on calling out BS in this industry. Too bad they dont have it in stock. So all you PIU riders can backup his false operational claims then your word is questionable and let alone your association. Back up both of those operation claims before you say anything else! It may be possible Relaxo increased the session timer from ~2mins to 5mins (i just want supporting evidence) and I clearly stating that their claimed 2 hr battery life is a bold face lie and calling them out on that claim (24 5 min sessions on one charge I call BS)! I am sure " Reputable Randy" will be making some adjustments to his listing shortly. Nice try Randy! LOL I really don't care about your past Haze deal or other deals this is about the IMAG availability, operation claims, and on going price.

You've been warned that continued company bashing would not be tolerated. Warning point issued.
You're right. This isn't the puffitup thread, and there's nothing nefarious to expose concerning the company. If that's all you have to offer here, then I'd say you're done with the thread.

Really maybe you should look through the thread I have contributed for months LOOOONG BEFORE PIU had it in stock! Anyone backing up his BS claim of 2 hr battery life (24 5 min session on one charge) Or you all forgot about that slightly important note?? Please someone comment on that!! Reputable Randy will have to Revise his listing sorry I call BS on those claims and you all should focus on that too since that is a massive feature to be claiming.
