Well damn :/ Still very interested in this.. I wonder if the price tag is going to go down soon, lol. Do pre-order owners consider this vaporizer to be worth its pretty penny?
With my new status I need to be careful about these types of questions and honestly I would be better off to steer clear all together but one thing I will say is I believed in Haze enough to get a job there and relocate my family for the third time in less than five years. That ought to tell you something!

I think the rest of the family took care of that question anyway!

From their site:
  • Can use dry herbs and/or oil and wax interchangeably and simultaneously
Kind of misleading to be honest.

As my friends have already commented, technically you can simultaneously vaporize different substances but I could see how this could be confusing. I don't believe it was written to intentionally mislead. I will talk to the marketing team about the verbiage.

Edit: if purchased through VapeWorld the 10 year warranty WILL apply!

I would prob. order mine through VapeWorld.com would this get me the 10 year warranty? I still don't really know if my pax is warrantied lmao. Bought it through vapeworld as well..

Yes you will get the 10 year warranty if purchased from Vapeworld. I think they are acually the only authorized sellers for Pax lab's so you do have a warranty on that as well.

I just received my Massdrop Haze and contest key chain on Thursday. I love my new Haze. This time I bought the midnight blue. Looks amazing. As for the key chain, I'm diggin' it. Looks cool and holds everything I need minus the eds wong.
Everyone here is right. Once you go Eds you never go back!!!!

Anything new and wunnerful in the Haze continuum, besides the new case, and spring loading the mouthpiece?

I have twice cut the spring smaller, as it seems to be stressing the lid. Another cut is in progress, as soon as Penny the kitty will let me up from her nap.

So do the new 2.5's have the 'new' smell/taste that people were complaining about previously?
Pretty big concern for me considering the price tag-

Also, I saw the Vape Critic's review on youtube and that dude was drawing for like a minute and there were barely any clouds.. I'm assuming he has no idea how to truly utilize this vape? I really want this to be my daily driver for all my different material but I might just have to go the Mighty route...

Someone save the Haze for me..

I mean every vape has a new vape smell a little, I found mine to go away rather quickly... as far as clouds, if you have it at 1 or 2 the clouds may be weak but I get them even at 2... so 3 and especially 4 produce some pretty nice ones

I didn't really notice anything on my DBV/MFLB/Pax but it makes sense I guess..
What about the cans "smoking" I guess the silicone/rubber part overheating? Maybe they fixed this in 2v5?
I'd use multipurpose cans all the time for shatter/flower combo bowls but not if im gunna be smoking silicone haha

um I only did 1 burn-off run, I only use cans, wanted to get right into it so just used it after the first run and there was a very slight taste, nothing that strong, but noticeable, but was gone after that first run. And I think I only noticed it on the 1 can, don't think I really noticed anything on any other cans I got

Ive been using the haze for a while and did notice a little taste but after the first session it went away. Same with my newer Haze. I use cans all day and I also love the convection screens for when I want bigger clouds. I think the lids start smoking a little when they need to be replaced. I notice if u stretch the lid out and see a whitish discoloration in the black its time to replace the can lid. I just threw some away. When I have more used up lids Ill post a pic. But for the other 99% of the time I believe the Haze and all its vapor is safe.

I havent had any issue with burn or strange taste after the initial burnoff I did. Silicon has a very high temperature melting point, far above any temperature the Haze is capable of putting out. People tend to look at silicon as if its a plastic or rubber type compound and attribute it with similar issues. It has functional similarities but its a totally different compound and can handle temps well over 650F.

Yesterday was a day of kismet. I received my D020 bubbler, the whip I ordered, my water pipe adapter from Rachett ( which works great I might add ) and my keychain can holder from Haze all on the same day! It was like frikkin Christmas! For an entry level glass bubbler, the D020 rocks. It really helps me because with my asthma I have limited lung capacity. The bubbler allows me to take a larger hit then the vape along and really improves the level of my vape session. I could add another adapter and whip for some truly lazy vaping but it works quite well in its current configuration. I highly recommend anyone interested in getting an inexpensive bubbler to look at the D020 on DHgate. Theres a huge thread on glass here at FC that was indispensable, if you have the desire, check it out. Thanks to everyone here and in that thread for the most excellent advice. Im a very happy vaper! Now its back to the Haze with Pink Floyds Meddle for a soundtrack.... life is good!

Maybe the cans just aren't for me. At least not until they fix this. For 250, there shouldnt be a question of what's in my vapor y'know? I do really love the idea of prepacked dual bowls and the ability for concentrates though... Maybe im being too harsh haha

how often would you say I'd need to get replacements? I vape all day everyday.

I personally only changed the lids once so far. Like I said when I notice a whitish color when stretching the lids I replace them. The lids are cheap enough to replace if needed. I really only replace them for piece of mind as nothing lasts forever. I do notice a difference in a new lid compared to a 4 month old one that's been heated 100s of times a month. I would say that the Haze is worth the price tag especially if you can catch a deal on mass drop.

Yeah that's all I was wondering. It sounded like people were getting only a couple of bowls out of the can before they started smoking but after a LOT of reading(and you helping of course) I know this isn't the case with the newer models at least.

Needless to say I'll still be getting one of these.

Does anyone use the haze for essential oils? I've heard there are health benefits but my source is the Internet and if the internet always tells the truth then saltwater was and is still created by whale sperm. LOL.
I am not kidding some people actually believe that. Anyway I have some essential oils and before I tried adding any to a can I wanted to know if its ok to use in the haze or even safe in the first place

Ok all you haze owners I need some help. I got my haze v2.5 on Friday charged the batteries, ground up some herb, loaded up the cans, and proceeded to vape away at the highest power setting. I let the haze sit for 15 seconds after it came up to temp but I still got whispy vapor. After the second hit it started to have that burnt popcorn taste that lets you know the bowl is done.

I then turned on the other bowl and let it heat up. This time let it sit a good minute after heat up. Still whispy vapor and this time the second hit tasted like burnt popcorn. The herb comes out dark brown but no vapor!!

I tried the haze on every power setting with the cans, convection and conduction screens and I can't get a decent hit. I've tried slow med and hard draws all with the same results.

I am grinding to medium grind and have no problem getting huge clouds with my LSV. I want to love my haze but right now am pretty disappointed and underwhelmed with its performance. Please help!!

Yep batteries are fully charged. I get about 5-6 double bowls before I notice it taking a long time to heat up and have to swap out batteries.

You can't get anything with the screens? I don't understand that??

Usually the cans don't work when the lids are seated incorrectly (worn out) or the cans are in backwards but the only thing I can think of is the batteries or your material if you are having trouble with the screens.

Feel free to pm me to see if I can help further.

Ive never had an issue getting good vapor from the Haze. Its especially evident with my D020 water bubbler. You can see the vapor clearly. It does depend on the herb and I do find that sometime I dont get great vapor at the lower settings. I usually start at 2 and bump up to three after a couple hits. Lastly make sure you have the tabs on the can facing the right way. Thats an easy mistake to make and will definitely inhibit the vapor path. If nothing works for you, its possible that you have a bad unit. It happens. If you cant get things sorted out, that may be the problem.

I've actually started packing my cans much more than when I started. The draw become tighter, but the vapor is very thick (on 3) - so thick that if you're not careful, you can take too much and start coughing. Like someone else said, sipping it like fine wine works great.

I'm still digging the incredible convenience. I have a 5 minute routine every morning. Clean the mp and airpath (1 min with an iso damp 1/2" pipe/tube cleaner), empty all used cans into my ABV stash, refill my 6 cans, put in a fresh charged battery. Done and done.

I am then good to go all day, at home or away, with one small device and one small can container, all fitting in one regular pocket. I generally do 3-4 cans/day, but if a friend joins me, I've got extra cans ready to go. One can not enough for 3 vapers, no problem, fire up the second bowl.

At least for now, the Haze is getting almost 100% of my attention.
