Discontinued The Grasshopper

That I can do and I will try to do that by tonight or at least have a picture of it in action.

For those of you who have Grasshoppers, how do you feel about a magnetic on/off cap to slide over the button while your carrying it to prevent any accidental pocket vaping? I have not had it turn on while I have had it in my pocket or at least I didn't know about it but I can see how it could be possible to do but unlikely. I would still like to have a cap that would attach to the button, similar to how the charger connects to the button only it would cover the entire thing. Any ideas? I have been trying to make one out of some nice hardwood but so far I don't like what I've come up with......
That sounds pretty great. I'm picturing a metal tube (the diameter of the gh, and length of the on/off button) with a magnetic end to slip over the on/off button. Can then attach like the charger.

Seems like their website is getting an update at the moment. Some new images are surfacing. The second one was posted with an update, but they're still pretty to look at!:D

I assume the magnet is in the charger end, right? Otherwise a regular metal cap could work and might be easier to find if the hopper side has the magnet.

Would this cause the false on similar to the coin that was previously mentioned?

Hey guys! I've been following this thread for a bit and I have a couple questions that some of you might be able to help me out with.. The GH caught my eye because I've been searching for a while now for a portable that would be a quasi dugout/one hitter vape (one that I would not have to constantly be reloading and one that would heat up and cool down fast so I don't waste herb by turning it on and off for a hit or two every so often). A buddy of mine has the pax 2 and I do really like it but it doesn't really fit what I'm looking for.. My first question for those of you that have a GH is would it more or less fit into what I described above? How big is the chamber? And if someone else has suggestions on maybe a portable that fits into that mold that I have missed please let me know! Thanks

Welcome aboard!

Yes, this vaporizer uses a new proprietary heating element which is designed to heat up in 5 seconds.

There are other vaporizers with similar heatup times, but none as stealthy as the Grasshopper in my experience. (There has been discussion previously about similar vapes with an instant heatup time).

The oven compartment is around 8.75mm by 18.5mm deep. Don't know how much you can load but I'm sure it's more than enough if you wanted a full load. Although since it's a convection vaporizer, you don't need to pack the oven full like a Conduction vaporizer (ie the Pax2)

I would consider MFLB for your need. It is not a cloud machine but you can load a fair amount and take it off your pocket hit it once or twice and you can put it back in your pocket

The answer is yes, judging by @BuzzDanklin and @midgetsanchez 's feedback that is exactly how it works.

Firefly, Elevape, and Thermovape offer similar use, however they each require stirring and do not have precise temp control. Also they do not seem to have the grasshoppers power, stealthiness+design, and the cheap replaceable batteries+use whole isb charging (Elevape has use while usb charging, but not replaceable).

@Ratchett oven was said to be .3g max, but potentially .4 depending on bud consistency, works fine with as little as .05g I believe as well

Thanks YAW. Lots of options that I'm sure work great for stealth / portability for others. I ended up purchasing a Pack N Stash, it has a bit more function for dispensing the grounds and the funnel that comes with it.

Thanks for all the info! I really love how sleek the way the GH looks.. That was my first draw to the pax2 and was just about to pull the trigger on one until I used one and realized that it isn't optimal to turn it on and take a rip or two and then turn it off... It works but, but you definitely are wasting some herb. I'm really hoping the GH turns out to be a quality product because it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for..

Anyone know a thing or two about titanium? I'm tempted to get another unit but I'm hesitant on the colored models until I know more about scratch resistance...If the coating does indeed scratch easily it'll be quite visible (compared to unanodized/unfinished Ti)

The other concern is the colored ones may look *too* pretty. As in like, people would be more tempted to pick it up and look at it... :p

Some sweet stash options... I wanna wait and see how convenient/how much the GH case will hold b4 I go with anything... tho the cig lighter stash was dope... might have to go with it lol Im hoping the GH case stash compartment can be used to easily fill the GH without needing any type of funnel or something. Would be perfect if you could just slide it into the stash to load some up but we'll see.

excited to see more reviews and comments on the GH's performance by others

O_o 35 dollars? I've suddenly realized that I can totally live without a spare haha. I was thinking 15 bucks max
I live overseas, so I don't want to be stuck in the future without an charger. I'd probably have to pay extra for shipping too. I was thinking of adding one during the campaign, when they were only $10. Their chargers turned out more expensive than they expected.

By the way, I also asked if it was possible to add some extra screens to my order. His response was "Currently no because we must design a tool for people to change them with. I don't think you will need one for a long time."
I guess they'll be more durable then our average screen!

Buzz and Justin have both said the screens look like they could take a beating. I'm glad they're apparently inserted really well, I hate a lost screen ruining a vape's function.

Yes, something like that. I would like to see one with a closed top, rounded, and have the magnet inside so it completely covers the button and holds securely in place. There is also the possibility to make the cap into a dual purpose accessory and it could turn into a scoop or hide a small amount of herb or something......

Yes the magnet is in the charger but there may also be one in the on/off/temp assembly as well because I feel a little magnetic pull when I unscrew the dial and change the batteries. Metal would work but it needs to be insulated because the metal cannot connect the button to the dial part or it can potentially turn the unit on....I thought someone mentioned they tried connecting the two metal parts of the GH together with a quarter and it turned the unit on, a few pages back

Here are a few picks of the Pack-N-Stash funnel. It holds securely in place so you can just put your herb on the funnel and slowly shovel it in and see whats going on to get the perfect fill with no mess. I would still like to see a scoop though and I am trying to make one but so far, the funnel works great.

looks like the funnel fits the GH better than it fits the packnstash, they fit a bit loosely on mine
