i sent him an email about two days ago addressing some invoice stuff. i also nonchalantly (lol) mentioned how my order got pushed back to august, and asked if that was them being conservative, or pretty realistic. trevor said they were being conservative with the new estimates, and that hopefully it will ship out sooner, due to production ramping up and orders currently shipping out.

Indeed it sounds like there have been a handful of shipping reports this week (plus another handful of lurkers who prefer to remain anonymous). Hopefully next week we hear double that number


I still don't feel like the grasshopper's new fancy "tracking system" isn't so "automated" as they made it sound. Kinda seems like someone manually added an extra line to every order stating the new "guesstimated" shipping date.

Up at Whistler as a "cheerleader" for the Tough Mudder. The ability to do super quick one hitters with the GH while killing the boredom of the group to finish (Hours and hours) would've been awesome! This is the first real time that I'm kind of PISSED that my shipping date has been moved from May to F-ING August! :(

They told me I would receive it in May or early June. I now find July 2015 on the order status. Oh well. Can't beat that when I've waited about 2 years for this vaporizer. Hopefully it's not all hype. Seems like companies now just take hype as a source of revenue. Hate the direction a lot of companies are going into this like it's just a herb heater and lifetime warranty only applies to the lifetime of the company's existance.

you might like to hear, then, that on my invoice, where it says original ship date, original is misspelled. They left out the second 'i'.

"orig i nal" is now fixed on their site when i look into the invoice (....for my green ti that i am desperately waiting for....)... so, somebody already send them a mail about this,, or,,,they are lurking around here without telling...:-))

Kind of an odd question, havnt followed the hopper to close but have a bit, what would you guys say is an estimated time that I could order a grasshopper and have it ship a few days later? In other words when will all backers and supporters and pre orders have there units, because when i invest my money I want it to come quickly. Usually I pay extra for 1 or 2 day shipping when ordering a new product. I know this question could be a reach..

I'd guess late September. They're ramping up their production over the coming months.

I think is quite unrealistic they can suddenly make a rush and produce-assemble or ship 1000 par month while their actual rate is near 10 (as far as we know); also: when all the peaple will be served (the 4-5 or 10k accumulated in nearly 20months of teasing) their production rate will be quite different,I guess (both way- or bigger or smaller)

A more realistic half glass IMO: they will slowly scale their production to meet their real selling expectation in mid term and i guess they are using firsts fews out as beta tester to improve reliability and quality of assembling process before going mass production.it is normal

It is happening! but I do not expect it to be for sale on PV or in "stock" - "ready to ship" anywhere before next spring or summer

If I should make a bet it would be 420 2016 or being really optimistic xmas 2015 (if everything flows with not a single issue after @baltik and peaple stop preordering it - this is clearly a nonsense :lol: )

Anyway I'll be patiently following GH evolution :popcorn:

It would be a perfect time for an established vape company to jump in and utilize GH's idea and possibly develop and launch a similar vape before GH can actually meet demand. If I was with a successful vape manufacturer I would do that and you can bet this has already caught the eyes of the Chinese knockoff artists.

Just to be clear, I don't support knock0ffs or even a company jumping in with a similar product but business-is-business and I can see it happening.

Photos and details of the prototype have been around since 2013. If it were that easy I'm sure someone would have done it already. It's a testament to how bleeding edge the grasshopper is that after all this time no other company has released anything close to it in terms of size and performance.
