Recently gave my DBV away to a needy individual, and I am looking to replace it. Where is the cheapest place to buy a legit DBV? I bought my first one off of eBay for almost half the cost of what they are selling through the website. I would love to buy from the source but cannot afford $220.

I just ordered my DBV from aroma-tek.com @ $149 for the Black version (silver is $10 cheaper). Free 2-3 day shipping. No mention of being a cosmetic second, I can verify once I recieve it. Based on what I read from 7th Floor's site, their 3 year warranty should apply as aroma-tek.com is not one of the sites listed on their website as a purchase not with man. warranty. The glass is not covered however. I'll report back on shipping speed and unit condition, hopefully in the next day or two.

Vapeworld/vapornation with sales. They are both authorized vendors that 7th floor honor the warranty for

Hey, wondering if anyone has attempted to "skin" a DBV? I'm thinking it'd be cool for a custom look, but I'm not entirely sure how hot the outside of the DBV gets, I'm still waiting to receive mine. Does anyone who has one think the outside gets too hot for a sticker to last a decent amount of time on the DBV? I've seen people with single stickers, but never a full wrap.

Along these lines, does anyone have any kind of dimensions for DBV? Ideally height, width (or circumference), and the width of the wand hole and the knob. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am pretty set on having a true "desktop" experience like with the DBV. I have been using my DBV for over a year, with absolutely no complaints. Just really looking to repurchase, because I love it so much. Was just hoping to save a little money in the process, but I want to support the company as well.

Any coupons or discount codes floating around?

I got mine from Amazon for around $130 years ago however it didn't come with the top(I think it was supposed to hold aromatherapy blends or something lol) But honestly, since you loved your DBV so much I would consider getting the Silver Surfer Vape unless you really don't like the idea of the 45 degree angle of the ground glass joint. I hear it performs a little better than the DBV and theres alot of customization with it as well if you're into that sort of thing :)

I know if I ever have extra money laying around or my DBV poops out on me(yea right.. lol) I will be getting a SSV. They just perform too well.

I've had about 6 stickers on my DBV for about 6 months now and they are still in the same shape, the outside doesn't get hot enough to degrade them. You'd have to leave it on all the way high for weeks and I still doubt it would affect stickers. Don't know about "skinning" it though.

Thanks for the info. The skin would just be a big sticker so I guess I'll try it whenever it gets here and I can measure.

Ohh I got ya, I thought you meant you wanted to actually SKIN the hard outer shell somehow, lol I must've been baked

That should work perfectly fine.

Took some measurements and think that as long as I have this printed @ 200dpi I'll get the 10.5 x 5.5in sticker I want.

That looks AWESOME, love to hear how it works out! Would you take it to Kinko's or another photo printing place to get it printed? Looking at that imgur picture & then looking at what my silver Buddha could look like, its inspiring my creative vibes

Ok, so I seriously looked for an edit option and couldn't find one, sorry for the double post. Took some measurements and think that as long as I have this printed @ 200dpi I'll get the 10.5 x 5.5in sticker I want. Circles should be centered around opening and knob. Anyways, here's what I'm thinking.

Awesome image, man. You HAVE to post the finished product. Looks better than most of the SSV graphics I've seen from their "artists" lol.

Ok, so did a mock up and good thing I did. Overall dimensions were good, but I made a minor error when calculating the center point for the knob and side opening. Need to adjust that. Quality will depend on what I can get it printed @. Hopefully I can find a gloss sticker paper as I suspect that'll help as well. Hopefully in the next day or two! Keep ya guys posted.

Wanted to follow up on the aroma-tek.com order. Came in 4 days, was supposed to be 2-3, but it was free AND had to get from WA to FL so ya know, acceptable by most measures. Got the black unit @ 150. Definitely not a cosmetic second. Unit works as expected, great. Very happy with my new DBV.

I just ordered the same from them last night. Are you saying they delivered on Sunday? It was the best deal on a new dbv that I have seen.

Nvm. Usps tracking says to expect it by Friday. Can't wait for the weekend!

I may have posted a day after ordering or something. Delivery was on Saturday, not a Sunday, but it was definitely a 4 day delivery. Also, sorry on the lack of updates on the skin. I have a new PNG file with the correct hole placement, but need to find the time to get it printed, cut, and applied.

Does anyone know what the maximum wattage the DBV draws?
I believe its 25 watts, cranked up at full power.

That is such a deal I might just cop myself a black one to have as a backup! That offer is on a new, unblemished DBV am I right? Also its not a huge deal as these things were built so gosh darn solid, but does that website covered the warranty?

Also RNSX will you be posting your final image or maybe a blank one for a template? It'd be great if ya could, save me some time figuring out the right aspect ratio/dimensions/whatever :p

Thanks Beast. So i have a 220v DBV and on the very lowest temp just after it clicks on, i get massive clouds. I've found that a few other people commented that they have noticed the same with their 220v version.

Does anyone know if something like this would work to reduce the power so i can run it a bit cooler http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mercury-350...F8&qid=1434705542&sr=8-1&keywords=plug+dimmer I'm not too clued up about electrics but this has a maximum load of 300w and if the DBV draws a maximum of 25w shouldn't it work or are there other electrical factors to consider?

Would be more than happy to. This template assumes that the overall dimensions when printed are 11x6, INCLUDING the white border, which you won't see when printed obviously. Still run a test run on this, I haven't actually printed and cut one personally yet, just adjusted from what my first mistake was. I'm like 99% sure this one is good, but ya know, check to be safe. Template here.

I'll find out tonight and let you know. Usps tracking says on time for today!

And it's in! It's definitely a new dbv. It has the black metal knob which looks nice. I'm going to let the heating element burn off any impurities from the factory on high heat for the next 20 min. Than go eat with family. Later tonight I'll post how it goes =)

On I side note the heating element seems a little off center. Can someone chime in and tell me if that's the norm?

Also I got a red bag =/ don't suppose we have a dbv bag exchange program going on in this forum lol? I would have preferred a natural hemp color or even black but I'll probably just trash it
