The Cloud EVO Anticipation Thread

I think I've messed up big time. Today I remembered about registering the warranty and that I forgot to do that with the new EVO. It's been 3 months (4 with the delivery wait) and the warranty card says that my warranty is void if I didn't register withing 30 days. :(
I've send it, but I'm scared I've messed up.
This EVO is not fataly faulty like the old ones, so I enjoy it and I didn't really want to send it back. I've been inactive in a false sense of security that I'm covered for 3 years.
But it's still faulty, it turns itself off frequenty and randomly displaying error patterns and cannot be turned right back on without wait.

After years of waiting for the Cloud+, then paying the trade-in for EVO, then waiting another year for non-overheating EVO - how could I mess up on THIS?!
I'm so mad at me that I could throw away my 3 years of needed warranty because of this...
I hope it desn't turn out that way.

So... Are internationals shipping yet or...? How come they can't figure out 220V? D:
I believe 220v have been available since somewhere around feb this year.

I cancelled my order for a sub around December last year, and the 220v version came out pretty soon after that IIRC...

Oh, cool. O.o I'm way behind on the EVO. Is it still plagued with problems?

Hi FC,
I've ordered the 110v 60hz. Evo even though I live in Denmark (220v 50hz),
now I wonder if any of you who tried this already, could tell me what you bought to make your unit work the way it should...
I think that a combination of a wallplug to dc and a dc > 110v inverter would do it?
If it would, should it be a pure sine inverter and would this eliminate the need for surge-protector?
Hope someone with experience can give me some input...
Best regards Martin

That won't work, try the Cloud Evo thread for more advice. This is an old Cloud Evo anticipation thread.

I wonder if you know why this would not work?
If I turn 220vac 50hz to DC and then DC to 110vac 60hz I don't see why it wouldn't work?
No one answers in the Evo thread unfortunatly...
