INITIAL IMPRESSIONS ON RETURNED MIGHTY...

:\

Seriously...I got back the SAME unit I sent in...

No upgraded thicker housing even though I was told I would get it...

Don't know what the software upgrade did...

But it seems some of the 'muscle' is gone!

With the software update, temps don't 'hover' like before and it buzzes every time as it should

But battery life seems significantly decreased, the same temps don't work as they did before (so I'm turning it higher to get results I did on lower temps)

I really liked my mighty better before...:rip::cry:

Anyone else experience this?

Happy birthday! What are you going to do about the mighty?

I think I would email S&B your concerns, and a link to this thread. This sounds like someone at S&B dropped the ball. I expect more out of them than that. It may be one bad apple, that they don't know about, or a bigger problem, but either way, I'd let them know.

the best way to clean this part to like new is using a piece of a Magic Eraser. It literally takes less than a minute to clean this way.

Whoa whoa there. Don't Magic Erasers contain bleach and other chemicals? That shit removes high quality paint with some light rubbing on your wall, seems pretty abrasive to me.

Not sure how I'd feel putting that stuff in my chamber, but maybe that is just me.

Edit:

OK so turns out Magic Erasers are made of melamine foam and do not contain bleach after all, so I was wrong on that. However I would still not use these. Read about melamine's toxicity and note this:

Melamine is described as "Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage. Eye, skin and respiratory irritant"

Doesn't sound like something you want to be breathing in through your vaporizer.

How do all feel about alcohol wipes or qtip, once cool enough and a good bit of elbow grease?

Alcohol is legit, I recommend getting 90% or higher. I would say 95-100 is optimal but not always easy to find. Probably the safest and best thing to use honestly. Normally I would say salt too but I don't know about putting that inside the unit, alcohol will evaporate but salt will not and you can't just rinse chamber out.

For the little I know, the temp represents the heating chamber temp, no the bowl temp. I would guess on the bigger unit, heat might dissapate away from the bowl a drop more and require the extra temp. Or maybe they are all just a bit different. I still can produce a lot of big, tasty, effective clouds, and ABV is perfect.

However I would stick to a low percentage alcohol such as 70% if you want to soak your cooling unit. The plastic shouldn't be left submerged in alcohol for long periods like you would with glass or steel.

I use 99.8 ISO and soak my CU's for 30 minutes as per the manuals instructions. I get a lot of reclaim from each CU.

I had not seen that in the manual, I apologize. I removed it from my post so as not to confuse anyone.

I prefer simple steel wool, I give it a quick ISO wash before use to remove any machine oils. But Magic Eraser shouldn't be poisonous, neither. At least of you don't vaporize remaining particles...

I talked to them today...
They said they will send me a new o ring

the also said that the battery diminishes over time, I told them performance drastically dropped...

And I also asked them about the new housing and their apparently unaware of any new housing and doubted the legitimacy of my claim that there was new housing...

...but they seemed unwilling to discuss those issues and told me everything is okay.

wow...s&b!

But I still love the shit they make!

I won't use magic eraser. As above poster mentioned.
Seriously?

In my opinion, a lightly dampened Magic Eraser is an ideal way to efficiently clean many vapes with a great deal of ease and without any abrasion or risk of causing any damage to the piece you are working on.

Just remember to give your Mighty (and you're back in the room ;)) a quick ISO wipe after using a Magic Eraser (or any other brand for that matter) to remove any residue that may have been left behind, and you're good to go.

If your vape is ISO clean, what contaminants are there to breathe in?

But c'mon peoples, don't trust me.

:p

Just got some new AA dome some screens and decided to try in my Mighty. Reduce bowl size a hair, same, maybe better taste. I'm liking 180f right now. Thought I'd share.

Green goes to brown, n that's what I stand for.
Wanted to stop by and give the Mighty fam here on FC a nod because I tried a dab in my friends Mighty about 5 hours ago and I've still managed to sustain a pretty good level of high! I think it was on 390 at first before we cranked it up to 410. Vape on!~

I have an email from them that I received last week where they told me that the only way to get their new upgraded casing was to buy directly from them. I wish they would get their act together and stop telling different customers different stories.

Hey guys got a question. I'm getting ready to buy a crafty or a mighty tomorrow and have been doing a ton of research trying to make an educated buying decision. Is there a way to turn off the illumination for the temp display while using a mighty? I need to have a certain amount of stealth, and I'm a big guy so the size difference isn't super intimidating, but the glowing screen will definitely draw attention to what I'm doing when using a mighty. 90% of the time my usage will be in my house with just the wife and I. Kind of leaning toward a crafty though, because I have portable power sources and I like the idea of use charging.

Nope. If Mighty is on the screen displays temp info. You can turn off the LEDs on the Crafty using the phone app.

So when I get my new mighty what's first thing I should do charge it or run it til battery's are dead then charge it is

Why am I such a Sublihater And I've never even tried it? I just hate seeing it being thrown out there. No disrespect to the SubGang

Oh I liked sublimator, just alot things like said watts dropped didn't get as hot. An can burn ur self even tho I never have

The instruction manual says to charge it fully before first use.

Just ordered mine today!

From my understanding based on what I've read, the liquid pad can be used to reduce the bowl size. Can anyone recommend a better or more effective way to reduce the size?

I'm coming from an Arizer Air where I put one of @Sinclue dome screens to cut the bowl to about 0.1-0.2 or so. I'm more of a quick hitter. Would putting a domed screen (dome facing up) on the bottom of the Mighty bowl mess things up?

Someone on here suggested that you cut a coarse screen in half and use that to keep the load down. By cutting it in half it allows you to be able to take it out more easily.
