I am considering using youtube to stream my unboxing demo. Would people be interested in that? That way you guys would have a low res unboxing until my dslr video uploads? Or should i do just the video and take photos during?

Lol turn it into a big event, some people wouldn't be able to watch i live, probably better to record and upload+pics

curious as to the method of their madness... maybe just confirming all the backers (in some weird order) so when they are ready to ship within the next few weeks they already are confirmed?

Well i just thought more that this way if anyone wanted to see the unboxing before my dslr video uploads I could leve the archived stream up until then. Still haven't decided.

I am the reddit member previouslt mentioned. I received my shipping address confirmation today. I wasn't an early bird or a holiday backer, so I dont know for sure if why i got email when I did. I was just a run of the mill ss backer (Dec 13) Here's the proof: http://imgur.com/ZVRPsoZ

I have no tracking number and have no idea if anything has shipped yet. Will update when I know more.

as much as it seems it means shipping... shipping addy confirmation doesn't mean shipping now technically... it might but we don't know until the non-holiday backers have tracking numbers... then we can riot

Haha I really dont want to cause a riot. I think, and I have said this on reddit, that I was sent a shipping address confirmation because I asked when my unit would ship, AND have held consistent contact with Trevor over the past year (getting additional info, asking questions, giving advice on communicating with the community, etc). So my best guess is that they were like, "send this guy a shipping address confirmation so he will leave us alone." Therefore this might not mean that my unit will actually ship any earlier than anyone elses.

Had a July shipping date.

Was just changed to August... ugh.

Maybe they are low on money and just sending out the GH's to people that are close by geographically. jk

Okay, so I just got an email from PayPal with a tracking number...Now before you all get your pitchforks and torches, it is just showing up as having been created, and not having shipped yet. But I think it's safe to say that it will be shipping soon.

Something something let him who is without sin cast the first stone?

Yup, I needed a break, good to step back and remind myself I didn't really care about delivery dates till they started saying "soon" so much this year. For whatever reason, soon isn't yet for most of us, so I'm back to just wanting the company to survive long enough to fill orders (and then stick around to maintain the product and make better batteries and maybe a XL Grasshopper for party vape and...). Looks like they are sending v1.0 units out to at least 2 backers they have familiarity with, so they're at least confident enough in having finished products that they're sending them out to friendly people who are sharing the experience. The thing I'm waiting for is delivery to Holidays & Early Birds - won't include me, but it'll be the real start of shipping, show production is working, and trigger more preorders, so good for GH and us.

This is exactly why I haven't ordered yet. I'm not any better at waiting than you guys are. I probably would be more depressed than you guys sound. I sure hope you hear something soon.:2c::peace:

Im not really sure where all this (or why) stuff about "well maybe they're sending to people who will review and share their experience" comes from... This thing has been in the works for how long? And there is how many backers? Get them out in the order they are supposed to and there will be just as many people who share their experience with the GH. These are PRODUCTION gh... no need to market them by sending out to selected individuals first, this is go time, where you send them like you are supposed to and more videos/pics/reviews will pop up just as fast
