Sorry if it has already been mentioned but, has anybody e-mailed Trevor asking for a rough estimate on how many production GHs have been sent out into the 'wild' since they claimed they started shipping?

Honestly? I am not sure. I think they want to get one to someone who can for sure do photos and videos imediately. I had also planned to visit them in person in denver but broke my foot and couldn't make it. I posted trying to see if anyone else had recieved any.

That's awesome that you're getting one, it's also troublesome cause they just said "shipping has begun" and you are the ONLY new shipment we've heard about. We know of 2 production hoppers going to Holiday Backers w/o a charging cable, and now this. We're all just waiting for some sign that REAL shipping has begun - the company language is confusing and if you take the last couple updates to mean they've been finishing Hoppers for at least a few weeks while waiting for charging cables which have arrived, then it's not clear why all shipping was pushed back a month, we have no clue. Anyway, sounds like you're another special case, so confusion continues.

Anyway, looking forward to your review/vids, obviously want to know if charging cable comes w/ your unit. Plz tell us what vapes you've used before, any comparisons you can make to other convection portables (Firefly, Crafty/Mighty) would be great, and some tests using different temps and different loads (seems like .15 g is an average full bowl around here, with some folks going as low as .05 g) with ABV shots. THANKS.

Honestly yea I have no idea why me. I am hoping they are just trying to make sure everything is in order for everyone and making sure the units were assembled correctly with what happened to @baltik.

When it comes to convection portables probably not many. I can tell you the vapes i have used and previously owned.

Currently own: SSV , Arizer air, Herbal aire h2.2 w high output pump, Zephyr Ion.

Previously owned: Volcano,Vapexhale cloud 1, solo, pax,pax2, mflb, pinacle,titan,tundra, iolite series, da vinci classic,phantom,extreme q, dbv,lsv.

I love vaporizing. I will most likeley be comparing it to my air. Maybe the pax but those are both semi conduction or full conductiom i believe. The firefly has been on my list but i haven't tried it same with crafty and mighty.

I plan to do several bowls at several temps. Some through a bubbler some not. Needles to say I will be going through alot of material haha. My first bow will probably be temp 3 which is 350f which is how I start my air and where i keep my zephyr. I hope my video helps folks and doesn't dissapoint.

Looking at the shipping updates according to purchase and model it makes no since. It leads me to conclude it may be some politics involved in who is getting their GH. That nasty email you sent to GH....

Hi all,

I was one of the earlybird backers (I think number 89) and upgrade my normal version to the TI in the campaign.
a few weeks ago I contacted Trevor and he confirmed that I will be one of the first backers who will receive his TI version.
But today still no shipping information.
I hope this info will come this or next week.

I'd be a little disturbed if I was a holiday backer and watched early birds and others ship first. I just hope they get those 123 units out to the people who paid extra to get them sooner. This random grasshopper or two at a time seems a little off to me. Claims of thousands per week? Can't even get 100 of the things out there, not doing much to save the credibility of their updates anymore.

Good luck and I hope that the vagueness is due to past failures to meet these goals. If by the end of July the backers aren't all covered, I will have lost any hope of success and realize that these updates are just stringing us along. Its been such a long trip to think a few charging cables pushed everything back this much...

gotta say I would be pretty furious if I were a holiday backer or one of the first reg backers... I mean its great theres a mother shipping confirmation out there but like everyone else I'm a bit confused

I think they might be giving some early vapes out to people who have helped them and to people who have offered do to reviews. Back in March, when it seemed like we were just weeks away from shipping (remember that?), I was emailing Trevor on something else and I offered to do a casual review here and on reddit if I got one of the earlier GHs (thought I'd try!). This was before Buzz and others got their units. Trevor's response was "Thanks for the offer. We do have a lot of people asking to do similar things, but we are trying to get more reviews going. I have added you to the interested in reviewing list and will let you know if this is something we can do."

This is a normal practice and smart for them to be doing. I'm not expecting to get an early unit, but other, more credible reviewers who made a similar offer probably will.

This makes alot of since i have a .edu email and when zenpen came out i asked if they needed photo or video work as I was a photography major, and they said they weren't ready for video but would keep in touch. Which we did. I also planned to visit hopper labs this past 420 cause i had tickets to cannabis cup and i asked while i was going to be there if i could stop by and they said yes. Then I had to go drop a table on my foot. I couldnt be up for like a month according to the doc so that basicly cacelled my trip. But now I am just happy to be getting it.
