The AC carts I'm reading .91 single coil, .98 dual, .91 ceramic. Measured Cold with base ambient temperature of 78 degrees. Measured on Provari P3 ofTi v.38. I'm also missing the black wick for my ceramic 1701

Just a quick thought has anyone taken the black wick from the 1701 and added it to the dual or single coil in the kiss alpha for extra oil storage?
I tried the donut wick on single and double coil after reading this. On the single, I didn't feel like it was doing what I wanted, despite fitting perfectly in the hole. Too much splattering on the globe, with the actual coil getting too dry. The wick sat funny in the dual skillet, but worked GREAT when I tried it just now. In the next revision, drop the coils a little further (which I think you said was in the works), and load a nice extra oil storage wick similar to this to go on top of it, and hopefully collect your millions for perfecting the LayG format!

Can anyone tell me is there is a dry herb attachment for the Persei? I'm not reading 1180 pages to see. Thank you.

Sorry, $180 for an accessory piece isn't worth it. There are wayyyyyyyy to many dry herb vapes that cost wayyyyyyyy less and pretty sure wayyyy better

The sr71 and74 adapters can be taken apart if your careful, I converted my spring loaded insulator to the solid screw contacts so both my hercs can use the nibbler xl and work on the 8 without swapping insulators if your good with tools it might be possible to make a 510 threaded insert for the insulator but I personally think you'd be better off using the 510 adapter w9 sells for I think 6-7$ with a peice of tubing cut to make it look flush instead

Excellent idea,(I want a 510 Herc adapter/insulator) I love my Bender also, no other vape gives such pure flavor! I don't use it often, but glad I have it when I want to seek tremendous flavor!
I'm glad to see im not only one interested. It would be a game changer for sure! Blow these silly cloud pens and micro craps to non existence!

I am still trying to totally understand the SR74x. Any comments welcome.

The ceramic heater has channel along its complete length. When mounted if you hold the chamber up to the light you can see right through. I assume this means when the oil get too runny it runs down this channel into the reclaim chamber bellow. I had always assumed the overflow happened through the 3 breather holes in the bottom of the chamber.

I would like to clean the ceramic heater. I have tried soaking in ISO, heating it dry and I have tried the gentle application of heat from a blow torch (a mini one) but it stays black.
Is this normal?
Is there a way to get it white again?

The gold spring loaded connector in the bottom chamber.
Are there 2 parts?
Should I be able to separate the outside from the spring loaded pin?

Aside from having to clean it a bit every couple of days I am still loving it! I have not changed or cleaned the Ti coil since I first loaded it and it still tastes great.
How often do you completely clean out the coil?

This would be a dream come true! I would prefer a flush 510 sr71 adapter. I don't want add more length to the herc

I only recently got into vaping e-juice so don't own enough 510 stuff to have any spare parts but I'd be willing to bet I could make it work with the right stuff might need to order some adapters and connectors to test this

I literally torch the rod until its clean. Real torch. The ti coil i drop into a quarter cup of 90% iso that i microwaved for 15 seconds. Without the coil in it of course. Ive been criticized before for nukin the iso but out 1000s of cleans ive never had an accident using that method. Use your best judgement, dont wanna debate it with anyone. Ive gotten in to cleaning the coil more often, like every 2 weekd. I used to let it go for months, but ive been concerned more with flavor so ive been cleaner lately.

It may not be the most affordable piece or worth it for you, but many others will disagree. The selling point of the Bender was that it was the only all glass portable vape for flowers. I'm not sure if it is still the only all glass flower portable piece on the market, but I can tell you that it is practically impossible to get a better taste from your flowers than when using the Bender. It's got a learning curve, but good god, the taste is unparalleled. I definitely understand not being able to afford it though. $180 isn't a small chunk of change for anyone these days.

I dont own a bender, but idk any REALLY GOOD herb attachments. Every herb attachment ive tried has burned the fuck outta it. Ive ran herb in my 3.7 herc with some success, but i hate cleaning it after every use like that. If i still uses herb at all id grab a bender, but im not concerned with its lack of discretion.

I used mine today for the first time (which I picked up for $75, @smutman so keep your eyes peeled on the webs, and you might find it at a similar price). The flavor was exquisite. I did not get the visible vapor I like, but MAN was the flavor killer. I'll spend more time with it; I'm willing to bet some practice will yield better results.

Yup. I stopped hitting flowers a few years back but after Hurricane Sandy, I had to go back to them for a couple of days and G was nice enough to hook me up with a Bender. I was absolutely blown away by the taste. I personally dislike Jack Herer (the strain, not the man), but it tasted like lemon candy in the Bender.

I just want to add that I originally did not give the KISS mini enough credit. It's a pain to load, but I had a very satisfying time using it on most of my batteries, for the first time. Delicious, but capable of delivering big hits - I was babying the coil with insufficient on-time, and likely loading too little. I like to load my KISS carts w/ very little at a time just on the coil/wick, and feather the button through the hit to avoid burning my oil. In contrast, the mini seems to operate better for me when it's partially submerged in a pool of oil and I just ride the button into the sunset. I was loathe at the time to put in as much as I did, and use the button longer, but I'm cured. Load me up.

The Bender is a flavor juggernaut! If you are not phased by packing a relatively huge load, the flavor is worth it. There is definately some finesse required to NOT combust. Just a learning curve. I have had my share of Bender cherries. It is not exactly portable being all glass other than the Persei(Hammer). Mine was a Birthday Gift from @Mrs. Diehard, so that makes it more of a treasure.

Sr-71 loaded with shatter using the core at 6.8 = amazing
Any voltage recommendation for the sr-74?

IMO the best voltage for the Sr74 is full voltage. Fresh charged batteries. For the SR 71 6.8 is awesome with my IRIS.

Hey guys, I just received a replacement part for my SR74. The bottom insulator broke a couple weeks ago due to a fall. The threads broke, so I got a new one. Problem is, when I went to give it a try it doesn't work. After turning it on, it flashes red three times and that's it. I'm thinking maybe I need to adjust those screws or something.

Any ideas?
