Super Surfer Vaporizer

I found the slow dissolve to be my favorite light mode.
I have mostly left the light off though.
I am still using it the spherical wand/whip way.
With the temperature turned up.. and the fan on high, I have gotten some great hits.
I am having "video issues" at this time, but will try to get something together soon.

That would be great. I remember the crowdfunding didn't work and I thought they abandoned it, but I didn't confirm it.
I thought the same thing so I asked someone the question directly and they said nope, still on. Just pushed back. Who know's if that might have changed though. Either way happy to see Vito has one!

:D This is the best thread-jacking I've ever seen!

I have a small lead-acid battery kit and a 150w inverter I was wondering what to do with, now I'm going to make a transportable lsv setup for no reason at all. When I find the battery...

ibpYeVL.jpg

I found my "vector pocket generator", it's old but lightly used

But it's dead (don't even have to check), and needs a car lighter plug to charge it. It outputs either 12v dc, or 110v ac through a grounded plug.

Now I need to go on a long drive, splice a 12v wall wart to a cigarette lighter socket, or find another thing:

I have one of these somewhere, so we'll see whether I find a 12v socket, or this pyramid 12v power station first so I can see if this old lead acid battery can take a charge and light up my lsv

I got around to using the Super Surfer with the bag.
Wow!
The bag is sure easy to make.
I was a bit intimidates by the keck clips etc.... but I found I did not need them unless I wanted them.
I did not so far use hands free technology at all.
The bag has simple cylindrical tubes of glass (polished for smooth edges.)
It is a great system and easy to use.
ANY bag can be used... but the bags provided are wonderful and versatile. They are similar to Volcano bags.
The end that you wish to seal gets pulled through a tiny glass cylinder.

It holds tight!

The bag's "business end" gets fed through a larger cylinder... and a tapered tube (with an 18M male end)gets stuffed inside of that.

DSC03621.jpg

A small spherical bowl with an 18M female butt holds the meds.

The following video has the sound left alone and no music so you could hear the fan.
I also use no clips, I just do it all by hand.

It looks cool, but what I like about the silver surfer is partly how simple it is. Like my enano on steroids, lol.
I want to like the new model, but then I think about the lights, n bags and kind of shutter. If I changed anything, it would be to put the cord in the back, and the knob on the right side (I'm right handed) or in front.

Most of you already know I have difficulty comparing vapes ... within any thread pertaining to one specifically.
I will answer the question as best I can.
The bag system is much easier to use than expected.
The consistency and flavor are wonderful.
Using the clips and hands-free attachments complicate things for me, but using the bag by hand was simple.
The Volcano EZ Valve by the nature of it's design, can handle a larger amount of meds on a wider surface which allows for a more prolific vapor production.

I did get very dense and rich vapor from Super Surfer's bag, but was not able to fill as large a bag without stirring and adjustments to wand.

If anyone on Earth knows how to fill a bag, it's you, Vitolo. Just hypothetically, what would it take to fill a 6 foot bag using the Silver surfer? Besides a lot of herb.

The Super Surfer forces air at almost the same pace as the Volcano, a bit slower perhaps.
It could fill a 6 foot bag, but would require stirring at intervals, and for a 6 footer... perhaps additional meds halfway through the fill... as the wand does not hold as much as the volcano chamber.
The wand being smaller than a Volcano basket in diameter would require a fill that was "piled higher"
I suppose it is possible that the wand could be packed, and a lower temperature used...
to allow a 6 foot bag to fill without the wands "load" developing a "hot spot".

The super surfer Bag setup is easily as efficient as the Volcano, but with different parameters... and using smaller amounts of meds.
I personally would not fill a 6 foot bag using the Super Surfer Setup.. I feel an average sized bag works best.
EDIT:
The flavor profile on the Super Surfer Bag system is more flavorful, and rich, but the Volcano can get the job done quicker.
A fellow needs both~

Damn internation shipping, my super is being held for ransom by customs
Using the fan for a second or so before i hit from the whip ensures my lungs are fully saturated with none of that useless 'air' everyone seems to love so much :p

Received mine in the post today.

I was pretty surprised at how different it looked compared to the really old prototype i had seen and the pictures!

I am actually a fan of the lights and the base, though i didn't expect to be. Genuinely. Plus you can always turn them off.

The glass knobs look better than the standard IMO, but i am already thinking of something nice H.E.M.P might be able to hook up for me.

I can see a few tweaks and mods coming, that's for sure.

The new heater cover is an improvement from the SSV i believe.

i like the base and the unit so i think i might try and see what modification i can make to make this more autonomous and precise like the expensive others out there. But not at that cost

Mix this housing with my thesis prototype for 1 degree precision and 400 whats?! of powah :ninja:

Edit: i assume i caught i glimpse of the blemish units being discussed, the blemishes are hardly noticeable and wouldn't be seen by an average person in my experience.

I looked around the warehouse at all the blem units trying to see the flaws and managed to get about 2 bout of 30 .

Got mine from fedex finally today.

I am fried a bacon on an egg on a fry. who are sunday morning. :science:

Filled a 7 footer, took me 1.5 bowls and some piles of kief, and some stirring - though i was able to just take off the bowl piece and shake it to stir.

lights are actually really nice, as is the plastic bottom which helps diffuse.

Me likey, the heater cover is better too.

I think some new wand combos and setups are in order, and cant wait to stick some prototypes into this shell and see what i can butcher or breed.:p

Holy moly... I've been asleep at the switch!!! :o

The last few pages have been filled with off topic conversation. You guys have knowingly derailed this thread....

Take it back on topic (the SSV....remember?) and if you feel you need to discuss the other topics, start a new thread.
