Hmm. I thought all March preorders were May estimates and then moved to August, I guess I'm wrong.
It said may I think on website but I was going by the email I was sent regarding free battery. About June/July date. But now website says September.

Had me worried for a sec that they changed them AGAIN on the website, but just checked, my March preorder still says August.....for now....

Mine went from an estimated shipping date of April to an ets of August now! I preordered mine early morning on Feb 12th 2015 when I got the email from them saying that I could pre-order. I was hoping for late July the latest! This sucks! I hope these dates are at least right! I'm gonna be pissed, as I'm sure everyone else will be, if these dates come and go and we still don't have them and then they tack on even more time!! If that happens I think they're gonna lose alot of their pre-orders in refunds! These dates don't even sound accurate either tho, if some people ordered in June and still got an August shipping date when I ordered on Feb 12th! Maybe it's something to do with the colored Ti units aren't gonna be ready until August or something? Who knows with these guys. They make the update sound like everyone's about to start receiving emails for shipping and then right after they put the dates further out, even for the earliest backers, bcuz a few are on FC!? I'm wondering if they had even more backers before they even did the Indiegogo campaign, and now they're fulfilling theirs first now? Bcuz from the update it looks like they have a bunch of units in boxes and ready to ship! So what could possibly be making them wait to ship them all? If I were them, I'd want to get them all out to everyone ASAP, not just to fulfill all of the orders, but also to get everyone off of my back as well!! I want to believe them, but if they have units ready to ship, why aren't they shipping yet?! Sorry for the rant.

They are estimated dates, with a window of an entire month- that's inherently inaccurate right from the start.

I get the frustration- I've been waiting a year and a half- but if you put too much thought into their estimations, you are just setting yourself up for MORE frustration.

so they plan on very slowly getting out gh during July to Most (not all) backers and then unload thousands in August... seems and hoping those are just so we are happy getting them earlier

I'm usually pretty optimistic and don't mind waiting and letting them take their time to build the vapes properly. I guess my main frustration is with them showing pics of a bunch of finished, boxed up Hopper's that they portray as ready to ship and actually say that they're shipping and more will start shipping in bigger quantities, but then they don't actually ship them! Lol. It's almost like they're teasing everyone with updates like the last one, and by letting just a few out into the wild and then making us wait longer and talking about price increases just to build up even more hype(if that's even possible), so they can sell even more pre-orders! I guess that's how I'm starting to look at it, bcuz I don't see what else is stopping them from shipping all of the ones that are ready. Idk, hopefully everyone will start getting their emails for shipping and I'll be wrong!

I would assume that they are putting these pens together meticulously by hand. It would take awhile especially since they have thousands to put together. They are a new company and there is a demand for their product, I hope they are prepared with enough employees. With a business you have to spend money to make money.

I wish them good luck with their launch.

What a place they've come to, where they're putting out backer estimates for the first time (could be a big milestone in another context) and supporters can't distinguish between hope and intention anymore. Plus the likelihood that taking pre-orders opened a window that will close at some point, so most available monies are on the other side of filling existing orders. They really have to deliver, something substantial, in the next two months, or everything get's way harder. I wish them the best.

You're being silly if you think they can spout out 3000 units in a single month.

Sure but at least a couple hundred should be shipped out by end of month and I actually remember counting myself as around 40 when I donated....so why do I have a July date, seems like last update was out right a joke. This is the first time I have been that negative about the updates, you can check, this is nonsense now.

Even though my first unit was faulty for still unknown reasons, my second one is still going strong and I'm really happy with it.

I did mention, that there's a difference of more than 500 serial-number wise between my first unit and my replacement (which I got about a week after I got my first/faulty one). So perhaps it would be a reasonable assumption that they're turning out at *least* 500 units/week as of now (and likely scale up faster to say, 1000/week by end of July).

*If* those estimates are correct, then the 3000 backers should have their orders filled by July, and preorders late July - August.

This is all speculation, though, so keep that in mind.

They might have a pile of parts and just picked a high number on chance?

Yeah but if they've finished hundreds, why wait another month to ship? Even a couple hundred deliveries (123 would fulfill their first promise, that'd be a statement) would make everything more real and likely equal more pre-order money, more publicity, just more of everything I'm assuming they want. Why wait?

I wonder if the boxes in the pic were just boxes with nothing in them...

I stepped up late and ordered early June 2015. My estimated ship date just changed from July to August 2015.

Which really hurts since I ordered in March and I also now have an August 2015 date. How'd you catch up?

These dates don't even sound accurate either tho, if some people ordered in June and still got an August shipping date when I ordered on Feb 12th!

I think it makes sense if they believe they can get to producing thousands by the end of next month. By then they should have fulfilled most of the backers and be producing enough to fill the existing pre-orders within a few weeks time.

Seems to me that what is really going to slow them down is having to email all of us to confirm our shipping information (and I hope make sure they have our orders straight; I changed color on my Ti and thought my invoice would be updated to show the new color once they changed the estimated shipping date).

I changed to a blue Ti from SS, and had to email twice to get it changed on my order page. Once to remind them, and once again to get the status changed from awaiting billing, or something like that.

When the Ascent was launched the company stopped taking orders for a while because it was hard to keep up with enough product. They also had some hold up with shipping from China. The Ascent was also assembled in China.

Isn't GH putting the units together in the U.S? Parts were made in China.
