Man this forum goes fast. Just wanted to show off some of Ed's handiwork made from Snappo's wood. White teak. Beautiful pieces. So big thanks to both Ed and Snappo for a super easy and smooth transaction. My Underdog's gonna be excited.

just got mine in the mail today, on my first testsession now, so I can give you a fresh review:
airflow is much more as stockstems, so while I used to mostly use the blue setting, I'm getting better results at green with ed's stem. more comfortable as the stockstem, feels more like inhaling instead of trying to suck something out. taste I can't yet say much about, my sense of smell comes and goes randomly, and at the moment I'm not smelling much.

the stem also slides in and out smoothly, more smooth as the stock stem. but it still hangs in there well. and it's convenient the mouth-end is flat, so that when I have to change the battery midsession I can put the stem away without the weed faling out/the stem rolling away, it stays standing upright.

and ofcourse it looks good, I think the stock-stem looks a bit ike a crackpipe when dirty with resin, while this stem matches with the black of the arizer air, while contrasting the techy look of the vaporizer with woodgrain.

Alright, alright, alright, all is good yall and am on the mend, this last fridays surgery was not bearly as evasive and went really well! I gotta say this has been the best overall recovery I have ever had, I came to and they had me a cold sprite and a red solo cup full of animal crackers, woohooo, yeah I was like say what, they knew I had eaten since 10pm the night before and knew as soon as I left I was going for ribs and did so at 10am, I opened the joint up and got the first rack with some banana pudding! Yeah I now I am on a diet but hey I just had a surgery, I think that qualifies for ribs and naner pudding! So I rushed home and was in the shop by 3pm, started working on catching up on retail that day. Got an email from one of my good friends up in Canada not long after I got in the shop, seems he had CCed me an email from one of his dealers inquiring about wooden solo stems and he replied back with my info. Rather than wait and let the guy get in touch with me when he got the time, I am the kind of guy that strikes when the iron is hot, I saw his name/president ceo title with company name, I googled him got his # and dialed the digits, before I knew I had the man on the horn and was telling him how I knew my guy/his guy and about my work. He began telling me that he has several customers that just will not buy the solo nor the air due to their having glass stems period and how is it that he had never seen my work. I was like this is a mystery and I was puzzled but it is what it is and now you know. So we talked a bit and I got a real feel for the guy, he is a solid fellow himself and we had much in common, before I knew it he wanted to place a rather significant first time order with me to try them there and see how they sell. So be on the lookout yall Toronto Hemp Company will be offering my wooden stems very soon! Wow and just found out saturday that my youngest made allstars!!! Talk about happy and full of pride, my boy is a heckofa ball player at 6 and am so happy for him! We have practice tonight and will for sure most of the week I figure, gotta get these boys game face on!

@HellsWindStaff My man, I gotta say that is a sweet piece, I am so happy you like it as much as you do and wow at the kind words bro! It was a pleasure making that piece as well as working with you, it went smoothly and easily! I really dig the contrast of the stem with the UD, very nice rig you have there. Just holla at me any time you want to get something done, Ill get ya right!

@Jokermachine Hello, those pieces do like nice also, really like the newer piece I made for you, I hope you are enjoying them both. Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated!

@WoodVillain Pls forgive me for not getting back to your PM's I hope you have gotten your shipping info and all that, I have just been so stinking busy its crazy, just go go go all the day long! I look forward to hearing what you think of that piece as it was fun to make!

@Deano Thanks for stopping by and your inquiry, I hope you have had a chance to read @djonkoman post, I feel he said it well and really has a handle on its use. Maybe that will help you with your decision.

@djonkoman Well said my man, I am glad you are using that piece and have found it to perform to your liking! Making that happen for you was a pleasure also, thanks for the stopping by with your thoughts. I wish you well and all the best!

Ok so now for show and tell! As I said I have been busy in the shop didnt get as much done as I would have liked but did get something done, took me a bit longer than I thought. The first 2 piece stem for the Lily I made in no time at all, the new design took a while to get just right.

I was encouraged by @steama to make a stem for the Lily, he wanted to go with wood because we all know glass doesn't take a fall well and plus the stem that comes with the unit is rather short, he found the vapor to be rather harsh and uncomfortable. After a few attempts I made this and that and then figured why not make a two piece stem system that would lengthen it over all and in effect cool the vapor more so. I completely did away with the glass and oring by turning a larger outer stem that has a compression fit within the stem recess hole of the unit, it can be turned and used either way to lengthen the overall stem or be left within the unit. The smaller inner stem itself fits within the outer stem and when taken out and turned around fits within the larger outer stem at either end. When the two are used appropriately they can extend the length to over 4 1/2".

These pieces can be found at my shopping cart here!

I also got a Vapman of my own and I must say that this thing is tiny, I knew the middle section was small but the overall size of this unit is ity bity, I made some new stems for it and took some better pics. I am still working on the wong design and hope to get that done this week. I hope you all like these new pieces!

Those look awesome bud!! And no worries on replying, i did indeed get the email and figured you were probably in recovery. Hope your doing well man and get some time to relax!!

I'll be in touch again soon as well... A Buckeye burl Underdog will need a matching stem to really put the package together. I was told there would only be about 2.5-3" left from the blank being used for the vape so if thats not enough ill have to wait for another buckeye piece... But we'll get it figured out!!

Thanks again for the awesome stem brother, i cant wait to give it a go and will update on how it performs!!

Something to think about not sure if Ed has S/S tips that fit inside. I know he has outside. Decide which one or both you want. @NickDlow might have more input.

recently purchased a blackwood nano stem can anyone answers these couple questions for me:

Can you use the adjustable screens? if not how does that work?

How much can be packed(it only says deep load on the website)?

There should be a flat screen clipped in at the max depth. You do the adjusting by physically raising and lowering the stem.

Or what I did was get a high temp o-ring. Once you find your depth you like place the oring on the core as a stopper. This is my tek an might not suit everyone.

Good morning you all, what a freaking day down here yesterday, we had our first all stars practice and wow at the heat and humidity, as I have said before I am hot natured, I can sit in my shop at the bench with the AC set at 69 where I keep it just concentrating on something and start to sweat, well yesterday was a tough one, practice started at 6pm, its still 90 degrees, I am sitting there drenched doing nothing but wiping myself down with a rag in one hand and a 32oz cup of ice water in the other. Summer down here is tough yall, I love it here in the south but geees its freaking tough in june, july, and august! Anyway my noy and his team are doing so great out there on the field, our first game is the 26th and they are practicing almost every other day, they are going to be right come the first game!

@vapebuddy13 Thanks for stopping by with your post of kind words, the ribs were as always awesome, so much so I always bring a rack home with me, its a have too!

@WoodVillain Good deal, I hit you back on your PM this morning, I got you bro, will do ya right for sure!

I should mention to all that I do have OEM UD SS bushings made by Dave and Amanda at UD that I purchased a ways back, think I have more than a dozen left so that will always be an option and when I start to run low I can always get more, @underdog & @underdogette have always been more than helpful to get me pieces for you all and have told me that I can get them in bulk as well. I need to just start that product line and get em up on my site, one thing at a time I suppose!

@Melting Pot , @NickDlow , & @KidFated. thanks fellas for stepping up to the plate with you alls info and know how, well done guys and I appreciate you all as always for doing what you all do! @Melting Pot Thanks for the call yesterday my man, I am so jealous of your meet and greet, hope you guys have a blast and as I said do a stem for me!

@scottg402 How bout it my man??? Hows it been for you brother and whats this I see Haze rep??? Watch out, thats awesome news, I hope the move goes well and the new position is more than you hoped it would be! I am good, all good, I havent been overdoing it just been doing it best I can is all. I have told yall before, aint no hill for a stepper, just one foot in front of the other! Thanks for stopping by and posting up! Hey you got my number, give me a holla soon, be nice to touch base and hear more about your happenings!

@HellsWindStaff LOL, Nickdlow is right, they are not the same kind of animal, each is different and provide different results but in each their own ways that can be very enjoyable. Now dont get me wrong I am not trying to twist your arm and make you get two but if you want two I can do!

@vaplen Hello and thanks for the post, I hope you have gotten a little time with the info the guys provided to help you with your use of the stem. I do as Nick does, I just load and tamp lightly with my finger then place over the heat port, I dont just push down on it, I more or less just hover over it and with a long slow draw inhale. This method works well for me.

Wow, not its the afternoon I have been typing so long, gotta get moving, stuff to do and work to get done, I wish you all the best out there!

Glad to help bud.

Congrats on the all stars btw!! But man I'm all set with those southern summers lol. I hate when we break 80 up here. July and August have been known to break triple digits over here as I'm sure you know all about that.

Well my friend I'll let you get back to it. Stay cool down there!

I'm going to get the lily stem. I love the lily but it's too harsh for me to use without water. I'd like to know if the stem works for the daisy as well.

Also I'd like to be added to the vase list. I've been admiring it since you posted it but missed the in-between messages about being able to buy it. It would be perfect on my desk at work.

Thanks Ed for the wonderful whip set up for my Solo. It gives me another way to enjoy everybody's fav portable. It makes it easy to read a book and easily take a draw. I've been trying it out all evening. I'm going to need to go to bed. I took this pic.

This is the blood wood and an herbalizer whip. It works better than I even expected, just awesome.

Great, great pic @CarolKing, I may have have to see if I can copy you for something similar with the EVO and my Underdog.

@NickDlow what is your technique for keeping the herb out of the heater core? I'd love to try out my underdog with some @Ed's TnT and whip tubing, but I've never really been able to keep the herb from the heater core when using upright.

Ed, I hope you mend up well, my friend. Incredible how quickly you get back at it. Admire your drive and your art, as always. I will have to be in contact with you soon for some consulting about that sort of setup for the Underdog and EVO. I'm always happy to get some more wood in my collection!

Use it inverted with water lol. I use mine 99.9% of the time with water basically for that reason plus others.

What you could do but it might be a pain in the ass, is to grab an extra flat screen an place that on the herb. So there is a screen on each side of the herb, one fixed in place with Ed's clip and the other loose. I've done this a couple times to prevent direct contact with the heater and it's a bit cleaner too.

Other than that your guess is as good as mine
