Hello everyone! I am super excited to let you all know that my status and posting ability will somewhat change on FC! Why you ask?

Take a look at my avatar and profile. I have accepted a position with Haze Industries as their Sales Manager. I will be focusing on wholesale business to business sales but of course I will continue to be active on this thread and answer all the questions I can.

If you have read this thread from the beginning you already know that I was an early adopter of the Haze. I actually believe I was the first one to post about purchasing it. However I AM NOT a shill! I have have acquired a lot of vaporizers since then and enjoy many others outside of the Haze.

What did happen throughout this process is I established a strong relationship with the Haze team. I gathered and provided a lot of feedback for them to improve the unit. I got to understand and appreciate how they do business and I realized this was a place I wanted to be.

During this time I was also going through a lot in my job. I won't get into a lot of details but let's just say I became dissatisfied with the greedy/finger pointing environment who says they care about people but have a funny way of showing it. I was the senior manager in my facility but I quickly became to fall guy for everything that was wrong there. So in the end things just didn't work out.

The unfortunate thing was I moved my family around a lot for these people. I made a move from Michigan (where I am originally from) to the Georgia (suburbs of Atlanta) to Illinois (suburbs of Chicago) all in the span of one year. When I lived in Atlanta (Specifically Suwanee) I never knew about Haze but come to find out they were setting up shop in Alpharetta which only 30 minutes from where I lived. Damn I wish I would have gotten to know these folks then, it might have saved me a lot of moving around.

Fast forward to now....I kinda knew I wanted to do something different and was interested in a job in this growing industry so I took some time to travel down to Georgia to get to know the Haze team face to face. We quickly realized it was a pretty good match. For me this is perfect. I get a job doing something I WANT to do. I get to work for some extremely caring and stand up people but I also get to move my family back to sunny GA where the cost of living is low and the weather is nice! We actually purchased a home in Suwanee which is the town we grew to love in the short year we were there. For them they get someone who is passionate about the Haze and the industry as a whole. I also have a lot of skills and leadership that can help a growing business so that was good too.

So for me this has been a dream come true and it honestly feels like it was meant to be how it all worked out. I cannot contain my excitement to get going here! I am looking forward to growing the Haze brand and starting a fresh life in Georgia with my family. Wish me luck and thanks to all the FC members supporting Haze. There is a lot in the hopper there so stay tuned for what's coming. I think you are all going to be impressed like I was when I heard some of the plans. But please don't ask me because I am not at liberty to discuss. :)
Scott,

I am very happy for you brother!:party:
Just to let everyone know here, back when I first inquired about the Haze, Scott was there answer all my questions as he really truly believed in this vape from a consumer standpoint.
I am happy to hear the great news as the Haze team has the very best joining their ranks.

Again, Congrats Scott and Family!!

Congrats Scott. Sounds like you and Haze will be a great fit.

If you leave the Haze on the bubbler after you hit it, blowback will occur. Some vapor may come out from the hatch. You will lose vapor from blowback. Also, I tend to avoid blowback as it forces vapor to go where it doesn't normally go and could cause potential cleaning problems-for any vape on that matter. If someone allowed blowback for long periods of time, I imagine a vapes' air intake to get pretty dirty which could be hard to clean.
Can't thank you enough for this Slow Draw. It explains the bits of herb in the mouthpiece slot when I went to clean it today. Glad I only did one session this way. For some reason the mouthpiece adaptor stays in the D020 when I try to lift it out. I think it gets moist from the bubbler causing it to stick. The steel mouthpiece ends up being pulled from the Haze. I think my technique needs work. Time to search a few more videos to see how others are doing it. Thanks again.

I'm looking forward to my first MD - a Haze 2.5. Having only used concentrate pens (Atlas) and dabs, I'm a bit of a novice in the Vaping word.

I'm hoping the Haze will be the step up that I'm hoping for and the dry herb option will be a big plus. For the most part, it will just see home use. I'm wondering whether the MFLB Orbiter is compatible with the stock mouthpieces on the Haze? I could see it being a good table setup; keeping the Haze horizontal the whole time.

Which leads to the next question: do these get messy if used upside down with concentrate? I could see the waterpipe attachment being compatible with a whole host of traditional bongs, but it would put it at a steep incline.

Are there any non-organic options for the waterpipe adapter (glass, silicone, metal, etc)?

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks! I'd be looking to stay under $100.

First of all congrats @scottg402 on joining the team!!! Looks like you Guys got yourself another new recruit here :D
I got several hazes(returns)at te beginning of the year but they all had this terrible smell/taste issue on multiple units. I hope this next one I get will prove otherwise. I'm ready to immerse myself in all things haze ,maybe a Wong ? Haze stand by @Ratchett ?who knows where this path will take me
See everyone soon

Did you have the old version without the SS oven covers? My original Haze didn't, putting the silicone in contact with the oven. The new one doesn't have even a hint of the silicone taste so prevalent in the previous model.

All my hazes were v2.5. The issue wasn't silicone I think or it may have been.
I always got this nasty harsh vapor. From nothing in the bowls. Tainted everything I put in there. Hopefully this one works better. Thanks again @NickDlow
Going on vacation tkmorrow so I'll have a haze waiting for me when I get back :smug:

I have a D020 on the way. Im a complete noob at using glass and help getting set up would be very much appreciated! Where can I find the videos for pairing the Haze to the D020 and what is this silicon adapter you mention?

So am I which is why this forum rocks. There's lots of YouTube videos of the D020 but none that I can find showing it with the Haze. I think there's some pics of them together out there somewhere. I chose it because it's solid and simple and it appears to be a favourite of a lot of other Hazers. I think someone else pointed out Ratchetts adaptor and that's also what I went with. It took a few tries but the Haze sits nicely now on top of the D020 and the hits don't disappoint. I also have a whip on the way which when added to the mouthpiece (using another SonG) should complete my setup. It's about as simple a setup you can get but that's exactly what I wanted. Good luck!

Flower Potted, Maxed, & Rio'd.
The "free" case from the contest arrived today. Very nice construction...and...it included (2) mouthpieces! A glass one and a SS one. VERY generous of HAZE. Thank you Haze for going above and beyond. It is VERY much appreciated!:clap::tup:

Now...hopefully the leather cases ship before July 4th if possible.:)

I am not sure of the diameter on the silicone tubing for the orbiter but I thought it was on the smaller side and you may be able to slip one end right over the mouthpiece. You will have to check when you get it and you should be able to rig something up if need be.

Which leads to the next question: do these get messy if used upside down with concentrate? I could see the waterpipe attachment being compatible with a whole host of traditional bongs, but it would put it at a steep incline.
You cannot use it upside down. The current lids available will allow the concentrate to leak out. You must use this right side up and keep it somewhat horizontal. We (ha ha I almost said Haze and elected for we instead) are working on some different lids to help but so far nothing new to offer.

I recommend you read up on this thread a bit or at the very least run through the Best of Haze thread. There is a lot to learn there and it will be time well spent. I will say that both @Ratchett and @Ed's TnT offer WPA solutions for the Haze and there are many examples of members using what they already have.

"Scott keeps US going"!

Best wishes, Scotty! Glad you hitch on to the bandwagon!

Shoot for the stars!

A little late, but well meant.

Sources say that he particularly loves to be called "Scotty!" :D

Yesterday I did a HAZE water session through my FC-UFO V2.
Haze continues to amaze me. It had no trouble milking the can up. Anyone who owns a FC-UFO will tell you that the can is HUGE.

I already knew I needed more cans, but now I REALLY need them. If for no other reason than to be able to fill this adorable case. I have concerns about it's durability and the safety of the glass stem, but it will hopefully be okay if I keep it in my bag. It is also definitively not smell-proof, if anyone wasn't sure. Here's hoping my glycerin tincture doesn't smell as fresh. 8 pre-packed cans may singe some nose hairs.

I cant believe haze sent the free key chain holder with only 2 stems and not 8 cans.... what the hell....

I hope it is clearly obvious im kidding. I was so excited to have a nice little package in the mail box today. I was shocked at the size it's much bigger than expected. I opened it and it had 2 free stems which was an awesome surprise. The glass stem also fit much better than my original one.

Congrats to @scottg402 and thanks for everything @Haze Vaporizers
