Show us your Vapor Lounge!!!

Team NO SLEEP!
Having just bought and moved into a new house with my fiancé, I am quickly learning there are places in my own home that my better half does not want me to vape in. Fortunately, I have the space and have been setting up a hobbyist's workshop in the garage... So, I am redesigning the workshop space to also be my Vapor Lounge.

I am seeking ideas, layouts, design elements that I might incorporate into my own space.

Please post up some pics of your home base! I will get some pics up of my current space tomorrow night, understand it is a work in progress:)

(on a side note, this is our first night with internet after 4 weeks!)

You need a mini fridge for sure dude. Or a regular-sized fridge.

Cool project! My whole house is a vape lounge, but making a sanctuary sounds cool. Mine would need a good sound system, no TV's or any soul sucking LCD screens, some good artwork and variable lighting. Ability to completely black out any windows as well. Nice couches/seating...

Most definitely! I like where your head is at!

LOL, we have totally different ideas of a sanctuary:D
Mine would likely bring you no peace

My paradise definitely has a big screen! My hung art consists of crashed plane parts (canopies, cowls, broken props and wings)... the real art that is meaningful to me comes off my workbench and bores holes in the sky. Variable lighting is a must though, extra bright lights take strain off the eyes when working with small screws and such, but is uncomfortable for just chillin.

I have been busting my back setting up, pics are coming!

This was originally posted in the "stuff I invented while stoned" to show my exhaust fan, but it also shows my "Vapor lounge". I don't know if you have any concerns regarding smells but if so maybe this can help.

Oh yeah, I really only Vape in my garage during cooler months. Now that the temp in Vegas is hovering around 100° I mostly vape in my bedroom. I'll post a pic of my "bedroom Vape station" tonight or tomorrow.

"Having a family I was never really big on "hot boxing" the garage and I hate leaving the garage cracked open so it can air out. So with about $12.00 in materials this is what I came up with.

This is the side of my garage where most of my Vaping is done. I hide all my toys on shelves behind a few tapestries.

When the tapestries are pulled up it looks like this.

What you want to pay close attention to is this box of rags.

Here is a little video showing the path of my exhaust duct from the box of rags to a vent leading outside my garage.

Every vapor lounge needs one of these posters:

I was wondering when these pics would come up again, I remember seeing this epic ventilation/stash setup a while back! This is my kinda vapor lounge!

Alas, I don't need a sanctuary for vaping, I live alone - aint noone bothering me about using my medicine wherever I like!

It's just my husband and I so I don't have a need for a separate space for vaping, however I keep wanting to build a little creativity den or whatever at some point. Someplace in the house to unplug and write or daydream, maybe an area to do photography for my husband. While vaping, of course.

We've got tons of room for it, but right now the priority is getting our 800 year old AC replaced, lol. I'll try to remember this thread when I get around to a remodel. Hopefully there'll be a ton of awesome ideas I can snipe.

That is such a cool idea man. What do you connect the cpu cooler to?

I simply spliced a 12v automotive plug like this↓ to the fan wires
H08R0uzm.jpg

So I can use the 12v DC plug outlet on my portable jumper for power.

Edit: I forgot to get a picture of my bedroom "Vape station" last night but I have really been liking these "floating shelves" you can get at home depot for like 20 bucks.

I have one close to my bed that holds my nano, bubbler, aromatherapy cups, ABV container, etc.
I placed it at the perfect height where I can hit most of my glass without having to bend down.

Nice thread idea. I don't use a specific room, but a buddy has always carved out a "thinking room" in his last few places. Not a party room, but a quiet, comfortable adult place to hang out alone or with a friend. Here's the spec for that room:
  • Ideally a quiet room or study. Windows are a plus, view is better
  • Serves as a home base in the house for vape-related stuff
  • Incorporates other hobbies with a small bar setup and humidor for cigars. Fridge is a nice touch.
  • Furniture is two comfy chairs...my buddy has some nice reclining leather club chairs
  • Relatively compact TV/music setup.
  • Lots of bookshelves with mildly stoney knicknacks incorporated. Good place to display your Lebowski action figures that you still have in the original packaging.
  • Can potentially double as small home office to disguise its true purpose and allow for comfortable web surfing

Tonight I ordered some of the last of the shelving/organizational stuff, and I should take delivery in the next 1-2 weeks. This 36 bin organizer/shelving unit is going to clear up enough floorspace for a comfy loveseat.

Almost there...
Just moved house and finished the rough set up of the Vapour Lounge!!!

vGDIgCT.jpg

All my glass is displayed along with my easiest to display vapes!
Back row: FC-187, Limited Edition HT, Custom Incycler
Front row: JM Flo Octoperc and a mini recycler, Atomic perc (used every day!)

The vapes are pretty self explanatory! But anyway...
Analog Volcano, Aromed 4.0, Herbalizer LE, Arizer Extreme Q, MiniVap, Pax2 and the FireFly

I also have the VRip Heater Stand up there, just have to figure out how to safely display the VRip and my LSV!

On the desk there is a Aromatherapy Ultrasonic diffuser and some peppermint oil.
My scale is to the right as well as a bottle of ISO i use to clean all my glass adapters etc... Almost time to evaporate it for some reclaim!
That screen is for my older Mac Pro that sits under the desk, surfing while vaping is awesome!!!
And tunes are just as important!

There are drawers under the desk to hold all other miscellaneous vape related stuff!

The room has a small window and i placed a small fan in it to extract any smells when vaporizing.

So far it seems to be working very well!
To the left is another long desk that is a workbench that will mostly be used for experimenting and modifications.
I also snagged our small wine fridge and will most likely have water and snacks in it in the future! LOL!!!
A slight move up from my bare concrete, repurposed grow room in the other place...

Nerd checking in.

No pics but I've got a pretty sweet man-cave setup:
Two lounges, one facing my projector wall (120" 720p goodness for PS3/widescreen TV) and the other facing an old Sony Trinitron CRT TV hooked up to my old SNES, N64, PS2 and also used for any 4:3 tv shows. I'm pretty anal about old content being played on an older TV (using proper native resolution and correct aspect ratio) - CRT 4 life.

My biggest suggestion is to get a good projector (720p/1080p). So epic.

Budget is obviously the biggest factor, like anything. I bought mine second hand and specifically wanted 720p which kept the cost down.

Something like this maybe for 1080p:http://www.amazon.com/Optoma-HD26-T...words_browse-bin:3365277011,p_89:Epson|Optoma

Even that was more than what I wanted to spend. I bought a used, fairly high-end projector from 2007 last year because I didn't want to spend 700 bucks on a good new one. There's lots of marketing jargon in the projector world. Can PM me if you want a hand.

Will post pics tomorrow to contribute to the thread!
