The 18mm m2m adapter on the bong rips!!!!!! Loving the LSV!!! I have only been using the high setting so far and have no desire at all to combust:clap::clap:

I was wondering what the best way to use the LSV with concentrates is? Can you use the heating element over a dome less nail, like put your dab on the nail and heat with the element?

I think I'm in  with my LSV.
i have unreal success with the crafty/mighty liquid pads. they fit the m2m perfectly where the screen normally sits and with a bit of fiddling they can be placed at the opening of the m2m (easier access)

I opened up my vortex air holes a bit more. Better extraction and vapor production with a much slower draw! I can get a smaller vortex inside the 18mm joint now with a fine grind, which is much closer to the heat source! :science:

I think I can work with the current heat output that the LSV produces without needing a second heater after all. :D

@Likes2vape - glad it got there already! What configuration are you using with the M2M? screen in the middle or elb or elbow screen?

Screen in the middle
screen in the middle? like literally in the middle? i hope not, because thats really shit imo :p it needs to sit here:

Yeah like actually in the middle. I tried it where the arrow shows but I kept getting a black spot in the middle of the herb. I get a better taste and just dark brown herb with the screen being in the middle.

I had my buddy come over last night and try out the LSV. He is a hardcore combustion guy and he was floored by the LSV. I think he may even get one!!!

He kept saying he didn't like vapes and vaporizers didn't get him high then he took a hit off the wand and was impressed with vapor production.

I let him hit the torus next and the next thing I know he is cracking up laughing his ass off. After a minute or so he stops laughing looks at me and says that was the best hit has had in years, better than a dab even!!!!

The more I use the LSV the more I love it!!!!

@Ratchett do you make a stand for the LSV?? If not would you make one?

Sadly I can't/wont make one with 3D printed plastic, and 3D printed metal would be astronomical (over $500!)

So instead I'm spending a few thousand bucks on a CNC machine so I can make an LSV stand. (Yes, I'm hardcore, I am buying a whole new piece of equipment because I can't make ONE stand on my personal 3D printer  )

There's a 12 week lead time on those machines, so gimme a few months :D

This is a pretty good guide for mesh sizes for screen material.

Wow, thanks. I've wondered where a good source of screens where.

Anybody know what mesh the EQ/ELB screens run? Would love a sheet of that.

Huge fan of finer mesh. Lets less debris through and seams to clog less, the holes are too small for ABV dust. I'm using one in my Solo and it's the cleanest I've ever seen a solo wand.

too high temp then, i sometimes run it at 10 o clock with this method, maybe 11 o clock, medium/slow draw. often draw speed does impact temperature quite a lot. so maybe speed you draw rate or choose lower heat settings if you get a black spot.

I've never liked the long narrow transfer wand. Its awkward and I couldnt get a great hit with it. So I decided to try an ssv wand, capped with an elbow bowl to keep anything from falling into the heater cover. Hot damn. Great hits at low temps, and very shareable. IMO, 7th floor should scrap the transfer wand and include an ssv wand instead.

Hahaha you are hardcore. That's awesome you're stepping up and making a stand for the LSV. Can you describe it if not I understand.

I'm envisioning a cradle with the top end being raised 3-4" higher, a few 18mm holes in the base for the wand, wpa, m2m adapter, etc. Maybe another smaller cradle for the wand. A whip holder would be cool too since I kind of see it as not just a stand but also a nice way to use the LSV with a whip and not have it roll around. A spot to dump the abv with a lid would be sweet maybe another one for preground material.

I guess I'm envisioning more of a caddy than a stand!!!

I've just kept it like it was when I received it from 7th Floor. I've used the WPA for over 3 years and have never taken out the screen. Still looks brand new.
your wpa came with a permanent screen? thats interesting. we must have a different model wpa then, mine has grooves to hold a screen in place.

I've had fun experimenting with different methods with the LSV but I think barebones, just the WPA and the right screen makes the LSV fantastic.

Bringing the flowers closer to the HC is nice but something magical happens in that glass cylindrical part where you put the flowers in the WPA that results in some sick extraction. :D

You just described the stand I'm using. Tried shortening it, that was a bad idea, the extra 4" height is needed for the cord to have room to lay naturally. I have two different sizes, one for the LSV + 3 GonGs and one with an extra hole for wand, screens, and a jar. I found I prefer the smaller version as it takes up less room. I can't live w/o a stand now, feels awkward just laying the LSV down.

Did you buy or make the stand? Any pics?

Has anyone used the ssv oil vapor kit on the LSV looks like it would work well other than having to keep the LSV upright.

As far as I know the LSV WPA has only had 1 revision.

They added little "ice pinches" to hold the screen down, as the original WPA didn't have these, and some (many?) users experienced the screen flipping and dumping their bud into their bong.

I also very rarely change the screen on either my WPA (Sadly I believe all of my WPAs are broken ATM, though I might have a 14mm one floating around somewhere...) or my M2M, I just clean the WPA with the screen still in there.

I don't see any need to remove the screen generally :)

...
I basically have a problem with his entire score card.....
... The last three ratings are particularly off, IMO.
Ease of use at 45%? ...
Options at 55%? ...
Reach at 35%? First, I don't think reach is a huge issue for most people, and besides it has a 10 foot cord......hoe much longer does he want it to be?
Sorry, just saw this post and I'm pissing myself at how inaccurate that review must've been...

How in the fuck can you give the LSV a .35 for reach?
It has more reach than literally every other plugin I've tried when talking about using it stock.
The only vapes I've used with more "reach" are portables (no duh ) and maybe logs with a custom 10 ft + power cord, and my sub with my custom 15 ft cord. (and now I'm thinking Bags if you want to count the portability of a bag as "reach" but that seems disingenuous to me...)
But having said that, A standard home extension cord will boost the LSV to literally as long as you want the cord to be...

I struggle to thing of a Vape with MORE options than the LSV... .55 isn't necessarily a bad score, but it's so goddamn versatile... I guess it's not super ideal for use with full melt concentrates (though it can certainly handle the job once you've figured out your setup :))
You can literally swap out it's heater cover and be left with one of the best whip vapes on the market...
