I've just been reading all this with complete and utter incomprehension...
Talk about miscarriages of justice....here's a big one for starters!
My feelings are with you and i do so hope the aftermath will be less insane, fingers crossed for a speedy improvement in the situation overall.

Patty used Ecigs for a long time.....
with "no nicotine" juice.
She used them well too!
She used them all day long.
They kept her from smoking.
She had 4 in rotation.
She now smokes cigarettes.
In the evening it is worse.
While most stuff was taken, I have new e-cig stuff here for her...
Patty will have to decide on the right time of quit smoking again herself.

No word yet on our counseling appointment.
They said the assignment was very delicate, as our case seems pretty upsetting.
Patty and I both wait anxiously to hear from them!

Are there any news articles about this terrible event? I've read everything that Vito and Patty — you both are strong, strong people to have kept going as you have — have posted, but am interested in seeing what the "official" story is.

We have not been charged with anything.
There is no "official story".
It is an invisible crime!
Due to this there is no news coverage.
The attorneys say that any publicity will force their hand, and cause an arrest.
While some martyrs would relish being taken down by the man for what they believe, my physical state makes me wish to avoid this pro-active stance.
I can be away from home for about an hour before body and chemistry goes South.
Making the police pay a price for my failed health would not be a reward.... but rather a temptation to allow the officials leeway to weigh further upon my health.

Ugh, that's even worse than I expected. It's disgusting that our legal system seems to allow seizure without reason.

That makes it even worse. What they're doing is predatory. I'm can totally understand where Patty is emotionally - it's the same kind of emotional blackmail abusers use to keep their victims under control. "Who's going to believe your story? You really want to expose all this to public opinion? You want your family to be embarrassed? You've got so much more to lose..."

I think of you two every night with my meditation, I'll be redoubling my efforts and sending even more love and healing your way. I'm so sorry.

Might be uncharateristic for you, but for right now i'd definitely put you and yours first for a bit...
We all know you've been doing quite enough to have a huge amount of surplus karma in reserve already, so please indeed by all means do take care of things at your end for a change.
Here's hoping there are some sympathetic folks to be found in the relevant authorities, who'd also like to see all this go away without any further hassling of you and Pattty.

Please understand this is how they play THEIR HAND in this chickenshit game. They hope to get you confused and upset even more by NOT FILING CHARGES yet. If no charges, there can be no dismissal. With no charges they can say...."What stuff are you talking about getting back? We have not even filed a charge!"
The game at this stage is a mental game. Pure mental. Your job is to pure mental yourselves right out of the game. Let the lawyers play the game. Yes, maybe this can be considered fantasy but you can do it because this fantasy will help you have a better life. Turn your tears of confusion and grief to tears of joy. Laugh even more than ever. Believe me, you can do it.

Because if you do not do that, you will be in for much more stress. Not knowing is more stressful than knowing. LEO knows that so they delay and delay. It is up to you to shine on their tactics and laugh at them.

Why? You may never be charged or it may take a long time for any charges. In our case there was no arrest at the time of bust. After they left, they posted a lien notice on a tree at the entrance of our property. It said the State Police now owned our land. Our lawyer told us they had 90 days to file a civil case to take the land. I was sure it was over because 90 days had passed but , alas, they had filed the civil suit on day 89. In that suit they claimed a bunch of stuff, mainly about me making Zaps. But they also stated " Mr Harlow was subsequently arrested and charged with two felonies". When we replied to the civil suit, we had to say "deny" to the issue of me being arrested as I had never been arrested or charged with anything. So about three weeks later, after the oinkers touched base, here comes a process server with paperwork charging me with the two felonies. I was NEVER arrested. And now you also know the rest of the story...........All charges dismissed, no real property taken although they kept all the Zap stuff.

Moral of the story...............YOU TWO have a job to do. Take your life back. Live one day at a time. DO NOT anticipate the future or dwell on the past. Live for each other and your wonderful family. When regular daily habits happen, envision who is at the bottom of the toilet bowl then laugh and laugh.

Fuck them. They have done the damage now it is time for damage control. You can do this, I promise.

So much raw emotion is these last two pages... I also have tears inmy eyes as I'm rereading. One can hope and wish for a world filled with kind people. We all know this is not the case but one can hope right ?

Smiling and laughing we are. Just this morning, Vito and I held each other and danced on our porch that is filled with flowers.
Today is blessed. Vito & I putzed around the house doing chores & taking care of life. We've been loving our dogs and birds. There is SO MUCH LOVE here.
They want to confuse, intimidate, cause frustration. My reply is "nanny nanny boo boo" Ha!

Same goes for the financial aid that got us attorneys... too many to shout out to.
It took a bit but I am back on top of the right strains that can help me.

Things have improved dramatically.
I have an arsenal as I said....
I did not realize how dependent I became on my Volcano and my VB2.
Those back in my life I am walking more normally, and the labored speech pattern has calmed down.
I am feeling like me again more and more... a nervous me nonetheless.
Tomorrow at 10 a.m is our first counseling session.
I look forward to this as an opportunity to not only exorcize demons hidden within, but to learn more about one another.
Patty and I are blessed to have each other.. that is for sure.

Is there a sympathetic media source that can tell your side of the story and show the police for what they are, much like the youtube of Santa Anna Police eating herb?

Is there something we could create and try to promote to the media? It's a compelling story.

Both attorneys have forbidden us from any media contact or facebook "poking of the bear".
No charges have been filed at this time, and both Lawyers said that if ANY media contact to tell my side of the story is permitted prior to case being totally dropped will result in "them pushing back".. via arest, booking, and charges brought.

That makes sense. In the event that arrest, booking, and charges do occur, you will have plenty of time to formulate a strategy: the Wheels of Justice turn slowly.

Your attorneys are probably quite right in context. But isn't it a matter of size? I mean if CNN came down there and it was on everybody's news, it seems certain they would have to back down. Isn't it all just a matter of relative amplitude?

Here's hoping at some point when you're safe, it all gets huge and comes down on them. But nasty as it was/is, nobody died, and things will turn around. A lot of my friends come from parts of the world where not even getting 10 years is like a total stroke of luck.

Of course it's in the context of our love of liberty (yes, it's real), our natural friendliness, and our idealistic constitution and bill of rights that such violations are unbearably painful - because they are completely against everything we are, everything right we've known from childhood. LEOs hypnotize each other into not seeing "individuals" as human.

The only safe way is now paypal.
The link for the gofundme account that Patty and I made ourselves has been flagged and frozen also.
They say it violated their terms of service.
I contacted them and they said.."sorry we can't tell you anything but we can not do business.... you violated one of the Terms Of Service"
I read over it, and it was lenghty.
I printed it for you and Highlighted in red the only things I could imagine it could have been.
They refused to tell me... so it was one of the two highlighted red items
or someone flagged the Campaign to be malicious.
If it was the very last term of service... then they dug through my email contacts invasively, or something similar.

I would be careful with Paypal too - don't let the money sit in your account! Once it's received, be sure to withdraw it. Paypal is notorious for freezing accounts and balances on a whim.
