Yeah they never actually told the public the mp cover would come free, they (allegedly) told at least 1 person that it would be free for everyone. Did Buzz ever say they told him it would def come with all units? I feel like I only remember more strongly suggested but don't know for sure. If they told Buzz for sure then it would be a little ridiculous as he has a GH to tell people and keep them updated on everything he knows about it. As for the private email posted to Reddit... it was a private email, though it would be reasonable to expect it to be posted online that doesn't mean it was meant for the public to see as if may have only been the current thought at the time to be included. The lack of mention of it in either way (free or price) by GH directly is the bit thats a bit off but it is a small thing so I don't blame them for overlooking it really.
As stated, for me its more of a principle than the $, and the fact of it being at time of shipping notice is a bit ridiculous too but I'm not really focusing on it or worrying until we hear from Buzz about a response regarding it.

Either way... most of us should have our units within a month (assuming no more issues with the charger or anything)... how crazy is that

Whoever said they have an email from Trev saying everybody gets a free condom, post that up!

I would probably bypass purchasing the tip, then if the hopper ran hot, ask for justice, which would hopefully come in the form of a free tip (or hey just upgrade to ti at no cost thank you).

Now that I'm looking back, it doesn't say they will be free explicitly, but to me it seems implied in "every" order.

Edit: Now that I'm over my initial outrage though, I'm not terribly concerned about paying 5 dollars extra. I mean, I'd prefer not, but it's minor, and I have more important things to worry about. I'm just excited to get the vaporizer.

If I go to confirm my order and they ask me for 5 dollars to add a condom, I'm just gonna do it, I don't feel like it's worth even talking to them about it.

What if someone refuses to pay the extra $5? No grasshopper?

Because that would be the only way to charge extra but still ship one with every order...

unless he would be sending a PayPal invoice... then if you don't wanna pay then they just send it w.o the condom

what email? the post about it being an extra $5 just said that it was a $5 add-on and we would prob have the option when we get shipping confirmation. If sending an invoice isn't how he'll do it I don't see any other way they would get the $5 as an add-on to an order they are about to ship. obvi it being on the site is different for new orders that have the option to add it but that isn't the case for the current pre-orders/backers

Sorry, I just assumed that "every order" also applied to my order, and not just the order of the person who received the e-mail. If Trevor wanted to talk specifically about that person's order, wouldn't he have said "your order", instead?

Sorry if that's hurting your head. I don't mean to cause you pain. :peace:

But they at least publicly published a document that offered some basic human rights on behalf of all the people (well, maybe not slaves or women or illegal aliens or trees or…).

On a side note, Bill Gates is giving away his fortune. Someone told me that if you post a picture he'll give you $5,000 :lol:.

I think Mrbinky is just being very specific in that how else would one ship with every order if you don't pay extra for the extender.

If the heat is an issue it should be provided based on the whole premise of it not being that hot because of "new tech" right? If its perfectly fine without the "condom" then its not really to much an issue, although I did want to throw it on a bong....:science:

I don't imagine I'll need the silicone piece for heat purposes, just with pairing to glass. Otherwise I'd turn it off inbetween hits to avoid excessive heat.

People complain about a 5$ silicon mouthpiece.
What about my 20$ extra charging câble? As a backer I missed to order it while it was 10$. Contacted Trevor a few days later and the price doubled.
I hope the vaporizer 's price won't go up that way.


That being said, did anyone mentionned the new (to me) stainless steel case pic?

I hadn't seen that pic of the case yet, thanks for posting! I'm glad I ordered one, looks nice. I upgraded my SS GH to a Blu Ti, wish I could do the same for the carrying case now too!

Does one end have a little stash spot? I don't remember now, but I'm assuming it doesn't open at both ends to get the GH in and out.

Yes it has and for some reason it is big enought to keep arround 4 grams of pure grind love in there. More than you can use with 1 battery.
Anyone has a link for a battery case that will fit the Gh labs custome made ones.

The SS case only has a storage space of 6.5cc.

For comparison, the herb chamber on the hopper is 1.2cc.
This translates to the SS case holding enough for 5.41 full loads in the hopper.
Buzz reported being able to fit a maximum of 0.3 grams into the chamber.
5.41 loads x 0.3g= 1.623 grams of storage capacity in the SS case (roughly.)
