Da Buddha

Initial thoughts on Da Buddha:

Wow this thing is a cloud machine! It is like an easy mode Lotus I love it. The flavor from the first couple of draws is amazing. I connected it to my D020-D bubbler for an all glass pathway by putting a screen in a male to male adapter like someone mentioned earlier in this thread. The results are great, so easy to get giant smooth hits. Overall highly satisfied, just have to be careful about blowing herb into the heating element because of coughing or laughing. However, after doing that once, cleaning was not too bad just remove the heat cover and turn off the heat ASAP. Getting a desktop was totally worth it, easily beats any of the portables I've used just by consistency.

I've e-mailed 7th Floor multiple times about getting an SSV Standard heater cover made for my Da Buddha and have not gotten a response . . . like the product but the customer service, well . . . not so much.

Hey guys, after a lot of research and using a ghetto version (LSV heat cover and wand + adj soldering iron) I've decided a legit DBV is most likely for me. Any idea on where the current best deal is to be had? Thanks!

Does anyone use this as a regular dabbing station with the oil kit?

I own this and have used it for flower but mainly use the minivap now, however I want to venture into oil and if I can make use of the dabuddha I will look at getting the oil kit

How does it fair comparing to others on the market for this, is it a good delivery system for oils?

Thanks

Have you tried one made for the SSV? They are only $20, worth the risk maybe.

I heard it is best to call them.

The standard SSV HC is too tall for the buddha. I have one somewhere so please learn from my mistake.

Carpe, give them a call or keep emailing them. They will answer and should be able to make you a shorter SSV HC. I have a couple and they work extremely well.

Thanks Rolling Green. I suppose I will try calling . . . My plan is to get the Standard HC and the vapor bros mini whip.

That's a great setup. I used that a lot. Also note the Standard SSV stem is great too and the SSV pick end fits in the bowl unlike the mini whip but it's not a huge deal. To be honest I kindof miss my Buddha setup, lent it to my brother. Might need to get it back because it is absolutely killer. You will not be disappointed.

Another option to try if you can't get the shorter HC is to cut the standard SSV heater cover and torch the end so it's not too sharp. I've never done this but I people do cut glass at home. Good luck it'll be worth the effort, I much preferred this setup to the standard ground glass buddha setup. And I never cared for the slanted SSV lol ocd issues

Hey guys got a quick question, I was wondering how high da buddha gets you when compared to a portable vape like the pax? Also, how big is the chamber? Will it be able to accommodate several people in a session? Any cons about the product? I usually use a bong because I prefer a one hit body high rather than multiple hits of head high from the pax, but unfortunately my bong broke. I'm deciding whether if I should get a new bong or go for a desktop vape which could produce a better high than the pax. Thanks in advance!

How high? That depends on the amount loaded I guess. The wand can be packed with a decent amount good enough for groups. It will definitely give you "bong like" heavy hits. Only cons I've seen so far are that it requires occasional stirring and sometimes the "hands free wand" doesn't stay locked in. I think it's a much better buy than a bong tho.

You can purchase a water pipe adapter that should fit the 19mm female joint or you can use the 19mm M2M that comes with the piece and simply slide the hose into the male joint like this:

I believe your piece comes with a M2M just like the one you linked, that will fit the tube without the Hose adapter

Recently gave my DBV away to a needy individual, and I am looking to replace it. Where is the cheapest place to buy a legit DBV? I bought my first one off of eBay for almost half the cost of what they are selling through the website. I would love to buy from the source but cannot afford $220.

Since you already had a Buddha, why not have a look at the LSV?

I am pretty set on having a true "desktop" experience like with the DBV. I have been using my DBV for over a year, with absolutely no complaints. Just really looking to repurchase, because I love it so much. Was just hoping to save a little money in the process, but I want to support the company as well.

Any coupons or discount codes floating around?
