Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Having a hard time trusting color accuracy after the seller "tobacco" sent me a dark amber egg rather than yellow, assuring me that my eyes are, in fact, wrong :p

Got my straight fab egg n WOW!! Cannot wait to rock the enano thru it!

Actually I think the SL15002 I ordered has something wrong with it...I think the hole/tube going into the center of the showerhead is clogged with glass or not made big enough...Check out his video at

Notice above the showerhead its like shooting bubbles of water straight throuugh the middle, my showerhead shoots a stream of water like out of a hose...also my showerhead wont drain back down...drip by drip it goes... Here are a couple videos I made to show Steven...What am I doing wrong!?!? I am kinda new to these, could be my fault...

Seems like the more water I add as he suggested makes it almost impossible to pull air through...the drag is tremendous heh...i swear that hole above showerhead is a pinhole....please help!

Could it be the fritted disc? I bought a fritted dhgate piece like a year and a half ago and the frit was too fine making the holes through the disc super tiny. It was almost impossible to even hit the thing even dry. They had a bunch of complaints and fixed it and sent me a new one with really coarse frit and it worked great.

@flotntoke I agree whole heartedly! I just bought an egg and while it is really cool looking i feel that the flavor is diminished and it's a pain to clean the downstem ... I can't even imagine cleaning some of the crazy percs out there.

The mf orbiter is still my favorite "cheap, high quality bubbler"

Followed closely by a micro recycler I bought on dhgate.

I don't want this. I need this!!!!!!!!!!

Been working on this design with Steven, its basically a Vapexhale devastator knockoff. I am dissapointed that he made the video readily available as was trying to get it finished first!

Now that its out in the open any suggestions would be welcomed, already trying to get a few different mouthpiece options (sherlock style, trumpet and traditional) and downstems (matrix, ufo, griddled) and the main downstem lower in the can.

Glad that its been received well so far though

Reminds me of the Toro 6 in 1 design from 2009.

Try pulling slower and not as hard. Seems like you are pulling super hard, which I think is causing the stream in yours vs the bubbles in Stevens. Yours actually does bubble like Stevens after you hit it for a few seconds. I think you might just be pulling too hard and too fast initially.

Start with the lowest possible water level needed to get each perc to bubble (you may have to add some water through the mouthpiece so that the tree perc has water up there). Then increase the water a little at a time until your liking. This will help get minimal drag (however inverted percs will almost always have drag).

In Stevens video, it doesn't look like the water drains back down either... Maybe I'm not understanding? A lot of inverted percs that require fairly high water levels won't drain down all the way because the pressure of the water in the very bottom of the piece acts as an opposing force to the water trying to drain down.

Inverted percs, like on this piece, will always have a heavy drag to get it started and then it will smooth out a little but will mostly be chuggy compared to many other percs.

If reading this doesn't solve the problem then either the hole you are talking about is truly too small or the piece is just not designed very well or made very well (happens a lot with China pieces).

Thanks for the tips I think I needed em...I did add more water and I think your right I was pulling to hard initially...the trick is to slowly pull to get it going...I did not even know about those techniques yet lol...It is a little better but way to much drag for my liking...more drag than any piece I have ever hit. Also the hole coming up from the showerhead seems to be like 1/8" big by watching the bubbles...that seems a little small for me...Steven is working with me to figure it out...maybe its just a poor design...next time I will purchase one with a little more simpler design...the piece is def high quality just doesnt pull right...tons of drag =\ guess I shoulda done more research....guesss you get what you pay for....+ a little bit more from china =p

Your image reminds me just how much I miss Always Sunny!

Nice! I've always wanted a modular setup (similar to Stax by Grav Labs but in a bubbler setup) and am hoping that with a few additions you can create a bespoke setup that actually differs dependant on the combination you use.

A few days ago my FC-UFO arrived.

In a word - incredible. I love the removable angled mouthpiece and how creative you can get with setup. I am currently running my underdog through the UFO and into some herbalizer whip tubing and through a drip-tip looking glass mouthpiece that came along with. This lets me use the glass from my couch without having to repeatedly pick up the glass.

The draw with this bad boy is damn near effortless and can cloud up quick. I didn't think this would trump my feelings for the Cake, but I believe the UFO has pulled ahead.

Honestly I think it's just the design...

A reverse firing matrix like that just screams bad design to me...
I've also seen pieces with reverse flow showerheads just like that too...
Again, IMO it's just poor design.

A matrix is basically just a modified showerhead, and IMO a showerhead is in no way meant to function in reverse.

Showercaps are showerheads modified to actually function with reverse flow like that.

That fritter is essentially acting the same as a showercap.

I didn't want to comment on the design right after you posted you bought it because I couldn't figure out how to word it without sounding douchey, but IMO it just looks poorly designed.

Seems to me to be a decent example of how they seem to design pieces over in China - just slap some nice looking stuff together and see if people will buy it.

MJ really isn't much of a thing over there in China, and it appears to be pretty evident every time they try to make something that isn't a clone/modified clone...

It doesn't surprise me that the piece is drag city - you've got 3 percs, one of which is a fritter, and it's moving heaps of water around...

It was kinda hard to tell from your vid (a more stable shot showing all of the piece [except for the top of the mouthpiece so you can keep your face out of the vid:)] might help), but it looked like it was functioning just like Stevens.

Also, any time you're water testing a piece, superman style hard-as-you-can rips really aren't all that useful...
Once a vape/nail is attached, you're not gonna pull that hard, and everything will function a bit differently.
If the piece won't function with a gentler draw, it won't function with a vape attached...

Eg. IMO, The FC-710 doent seem to function 100% on a water test, but works like a champ once a vape/nail is attached.

I completely agree with all assessment of that piece. Its too many percs and that's not the biggest problem its a combination of all the wrong percs. The biggest problem i believe is the reverse perc. I have that raygun with the reverse showerhead perc. I'll never forget when i first got it and pulled it i said this muthafucka doesn't work!! A hard enough pull and it started percolating. It takes a very strong initial pull to get it going and the more water the harder. The more seasoned glass veterans on here would run from a design like that. That's why it's important for us to comment on people asking what we think of pieces. We could've saved @glitchsta some money people!!

Just ordered this last night, with a "Quartz Honeybucket" as well; concentrates have shown a bit more prevelancy in the area so I wanted a dedicated piece lol. That's what I say to justify it anyways.

I like that it's female too, as if BHO/Shatter isn't around, I can just use my Underdog or Lotus with it.

This came in yesterday, I like it a lot. Hit's pretty well, and the Quartz Honeybucket that came with it is decent enough...I don't have any other Honeybucket's so I've enjoyed it. It's really easy to clean, after a night of me and people using it, I saw a HUGE piece of reclaim, like the size of a dime sitting in water, just took a coffee filter and dumped water out, got destroyed on that lol.

Will try to get a video of it's function.

That pipe in the background, not for show. Lol. I got one. They also sent me the funniest grinder ever, it's maybe 1 inch in diameter, like half an inch thick. I'll have to take a picture later.

Tobacco did the same exact thing to me, their picture was high bumble-bee yellow, but apparently I am the dim one. I wanted to dispute almost but I will just sell them and never buy from them again. I left a review about it though.

This is my first post here, and this forum is extremely helpful, thank you all so much!

sprite baby bottle? :hmm:
lol, i didnt even think of that, they do make baby bottles, but still, come on, i know that was the blowtube handle, take the extra 10 mins and remove it flush with the cap.....lol just a pet peve as a lampworker haha those arent easy to make, just blows me away they dont take the time to finish it lol. @roneglass make some really legit ones :) looks like they went the extra step with the custom sprite label tho haha :)

That's actually not far off from the high tech Glass works piece it is copied from. The mouthpiece is not flush to the cap on the original either though it's a bit shorter. I would prefer that they copy the high tech coke bottle rigs as those are clear and I have more of a personal connection to coke than sprite or sipping lean

Damn you, party liquor
My FC-1000 has developed a crack above the matrix perc going into two of the pillars. Doesn't affect function but will only get bigger. Bummer. When it came it was virtually flawless. Keep your eye open on these new Steven pieces, everyone. Mine had only been rinsed out a couple times and sat on one of those silicone hexagon trivets its whole life. I don't think it's even been bumped. Oh well. I'm on vacation starting today and it wasn't going anyway haha.

On a side note: I am PBWing( yeah it's a verb) my FC 710 and noticed that the piece will hold water all the way up to the stoppered mouthpiece without pushing water out the open male joint. Pretty nifty. It's defying gravity. Water is higher up than the open outlet.

I wish Steven had better QC. I have received multiple pieces from him with dirty percs, some that won't come out with PBW, simple green, and ISO. However, he made a nice gesture in replacing one of them. I realize the gamble I'm playing when I buy deeply discounted pieces. One good piece makes up for a few bad ones.

However, I believe that if you have a crack (non cosmetic), you should get a replacement.

Thanks blankrider for making these pieces available at awesome prices.

Ya steve better not be being fishy and selling us the low quality pieces and wholesaling the good ones..

Most of what I got from him no problems.. Fc-186 is flawless. Ufo is awesome perc is a tiny crooked. Rest i havnt had problems but he needs to make sure EVERYONE at FC is taken care of in the quality department as we have given him a shit ton of support..

Also, steve needs to realize that the extra money spent on packaging pieces (especially stuff like the fc-186 and straight fab, one is 65$ other like 75$) that it is beyond worth it to use more bubble wrap just for the pieces ensured safety, and the long term relationship of the customer and steve. The more broken pieces people recieve, the less likely they are to go back. Repalcment or not its a hassle and waiting 2 weeks to get a broken pipe to wait another 2 weeks for one with a minor defect more then sucks..
