Actually, I think my silicone wouldn't work too well for this scenario - the silicone would probably collect too much lint in your pocket (2 weeks later you'd have a fuzzy battery case :uhoh:). I do however have a flexible rubber-like plastic (it's a Thermoplastic Elastomer - TPE ), It's a bitch to print, but doable for simple shapes like what I'm thinking.

I'm planning to make an open ended box with slots for batteries, friction fitted into place. (As usual, the design would be fully parametric so I could easily modify it to fit any battery, and any quantity of batteries)

The more I get into 3D printing, the more I try to follow the K.I.S.S. principals. Yes it's possible to go crazy with designs, but usually simple is better for many reasons.

So you do get a usb battery charger with the GH don't you? was it just the early orders that were short of that for a while... is it a single or double? and i suppose the MFLB charger wouldn't be any good?

There was actually a message up saying they were updating the website. Now it just won't load. They are probably in the midst of uploading the changes. Hoping for new pricing because that would mean GH's actually have shipped.

Someone ordering now would be quoted an estimated ship date of at least end of July, so isn't that still considered a preorder?

Edit: I guess not, definition reads "an order for an item that has not yet been made commercially available."

@midgetsanchez please let us know when you get your shipping notification!

I mean technically they will be pre-orders until they are caught up but that doesnt mean they cant/wont change to the production prices at a certain point... this case being shipping of units beginning

Charger is included. They offered a few backers the opportunity to supposedly receive theirs quicker without a charger. But as far as anyone knows, none have been shipped....

Same no change to my April ship date and the pricing is still at $135 for SS and $180/$185 for the Ti
