We meet with the prosecutor and exchange small talk. Then she looks at Jeff and says.........."so what do you have in mind?" He says we would like to go down to inattentive driving on the DUI and we will cop to the posess charges as Rick is self employed so the drug thing will not affect him that much. She threw out the MJ posess charge as there was really nothing.......a trace which they called a gram. So she starts going through her fine chart on the posess and shakes her head................no, I am throwing that one out too. So I go up to the clerk and dole out less than 4 bills and go on my way. All done. No more. It is over. Wow, how quick, maybe 5 minutes. No judge. Hours literally of police work gone that quick. It helped much that I blew under, am 64 and had a clean record.
Zaplady BTW was strong and calm through the entire affair. She was a hero in many ways.
Since I got a lawyer, we got to see all the discovery of police reports and video tape so we learned even more.
If packing a log type vape, only keep the flower with it. It is totally safe that way. Vapor stems of any kind will turn it 180 degrees. No, they had absolutely no clue as to what it was........at first.

End of that story. Now on with life. Back to safe Zapville. And it will NOT happen again. Kind of like a speeding ticket. If you do not speed, you will not get a speeding ticket. The fun can wait til we are home from now on.

I got a DUI in 1984 the lawyer cost $700 then and I was sent to AA meetings 90 meeting in 90 days. that was it no fine, I blew a .10. You must of really got caught by a pig for busting you for a .05. Glad to here you made out ok except for what the lawyer cost but it was worth it.

Had a good day Wednesday Franko but yesterday was the real test. Deliver to chefs in the AM so up early to harvest. Then in to Spokane to replenish my glass inventory. Then back to our town for groceries, dog food, coffee, bacon. Then home to finish stems and misc for 4 more orders. Then off to the post office(20 miles). Got there with 5 minutes to spare. They should arrive Saturday if the mail is on time.
Four more to build today to ship tomorrow but we also have to pick for tomorrows Farmers Market today. It will all happen though.
Summer fun is finally here.

I feel your pain. Been there, done that - thankfully the existing E2K7 infrastructure is maintained by someone else and isnt on MY SAN (except for backups) :)

Yeah!!!!!! I'm pretty sure mine will ship out and come next week I'm so excited!!!! using da Buddha has NOT been the same, its cumbersome and much more work! Dang and I used to love DBV, now I cant wait to stop using it

also can anyone compare the clouds of a MFLB to the MZ?
I was thinking of picking one up but don't want to bother if I can't really get good rips off it.

Rick/Mom/anyone with more knowledge: will the plainjane collect more honey then the tooty? it seems the wider mouth would make it easy to scrape around for the good stuff, but my plainjane was only used once and i was thinking of also ordering a tooty just for the style alone

Scrape the honey? I highly recommend dissolving it in some kind of drinkable alcohol, the higher proof the better. Rumplemintz (peppermint @100 proof) will work and make a very unique flavor. Everclear is the best or some *equivalent* high proof clear drinkable alcohol.
We think the Tootys are way classier than the Planejane. They work very well and are slick to hold, easily cleanable at 6-7" long and have a handy removable tip. I have said it before but will repeat that we only use the Tootys for our Zap stems now. No more stockers.

ranDUMB, I have various glass stems now, and my favorite is the shorter Tooty. Mostly for the style, size and draw. As far as collecting resin/honey, all the stems are equal in the amounts collected, but some are easier to clean than others. IMO it's best to not let them get too much buildup before cleaning and it is easier. I reuse the alcohol, storing it in a dark bottle between uses. I haven't tried using high proof alcohol yet, but have used ISO and then evaporated it down for QWISO. Then the residue can be vaped (or "shudder" combusted), but if using this method YOU MUST NOT DRINK OR EAT IT as it is made with rubbing alcohol.

We are very happy to be very busy. Today I will get 4 more done after shipping 4 yesterday. We have moved into a higher production pace since the website remodel. The plan is to keep up the pace so we have several units ready to ship at any given time. We will also keep completed units fired up to eliminate any customer break in period. Looks like we might be able to start that plan late this week along with a couple of custom orders I have been putting off.
I extended the discount code to the end of the week then it will be gone. We will come up with something else but it will not be a straight 5% discount on everything as it is now.

Zaplady got her lead blood test info back. She has less than the minuscule amount I had. Bottom of the bottom level. She has ONLY vaped from various AZ and MZs for 10 years.

Hey Rick,
I got my zap back in january, great fucking product. However, the 12v just recentally stopped working. I have a 13.5 so I can still use it, but it isnt the same. Pease let me know if i can order another or how to fix it.

Just order a 12 volt off our website. We cannot guarantee those little turds like we do the Zaps. I will throw in a complimentary vapor stem since you are a recent customer. If you can handle cutting a few inches off the wire of the bad transformer(the Zap plug end) and replacing the plug, that will fix the problem. The plugs are available at Radio Shack. They are 5.5 x 2.1 mm female plugs. Take the Zap in to be sure. Zaps are plenty safe in public with no vapor stem in the vicinity. The replacement plugs will require soldering I believe.
Got some pics coming screw. Even an old square Myrtle(2 yrs +) that we just fixed. A beauty and the heatport hole in the wood is still like new.

Got my Zap Saturday afteroon :D

I have been putting her through the motions and keeping her rubbed down real good. I will post pics late 2nite or 2morrow.

I must say Rick,you made a good choice selecting my Zap. It's a classy classic with elements of marble, wood and a kind of iridescent glow.

I have been getting "zapped" (my new phrase) all weekend :o

Also want to add that we added a required option to the Tite Kit. You can choose your log vape type now. Simple modification to the bushing and instructions to deal with the pin across the top plate used by our competitors.

Yup, one of those darker ones went to Virginia. A Primo with a clear Tooty and a 3 hole stem holder besides all the regular stuff.
