It also depends on tolerance, Ill probably be going with one nice long hit to start with small sips once it kicks in to get where I want and stay there... a day of use for me if I were to stay vaped all day would probably just hit a minute or so + I ordered a battery + free extra battery... with their size? not even close to worried

When most of us are using our beloved Nano or Solo we aren't taking a draw the whole time it's on. This is just an on demand unit. I'm really anxious to hear all the reviews once they start coming in. The 20 min of actual "on time" sounds just about right, of course different temp and draws make a difference. The inexpensive price for batteries is awesome - that too may go up though, once they start selling in the market place.
I'm sure the batteries will go up at least several dollars, I'm pretty sure I've seen it stated somewhere that right now they're pretty much being sold at-cost, so I wouldn't be surprised if the batteries even doubled in price.

His handle is @RUDE BOY, after all.
Pawn or stooge... how about "free agent"

What I want to know is what's the deal with the anodizing?

Like why are these colors so understated compared to say the anodized ti grinders that have much more vibrant colors, not to mention the aluminum ones; are they using a different anodizing process?

:hmm:
SCS grinders don't contain titanium. They are made of anodized aluminum (or aluminium for those on the other side of the pond). Anodization, or the forced/controlled corrosion of a metal through an electro/chemical process results in a porous oxide layer in aluminum to which a dye can be added to achieve vibrant and varied colors before being sealed. With titanium, no dye can be used and the difference in colors is limited to changing how thick the corrosion or oxide layer is.

Which color is the thickest?

I am tempted to order before "production pricing" (makes me laugh saying that), but am holding to my original position of waiting for non-sponsored reviews first. If it's above $160 or so for the SS I may have to re-think getting one at all.

I know it sucks paying more for something when you know what you could of gotten it for but even if it was 160 that's still a great value compared to other vapes on the market. I could see it close to $200 but only time will tell.

Yes I know that about scs, I have two of them. Also I specifically mentioned aluminum right before the example picture I posted, I guess you missed that part. Space case makes the ti grinders:

They only seem to come in this one (non) color.
These seem to be machined aluminum, coated (anodized?) with titanium :hmm:

I bit the bullet after reading Buzz's thoughts on the v.9 Ti model. Went with a dark gray model; I personally think it looks quite snazzy with the contrasting clip.

Hopefully the Hopper Labs team can rocket through the majority of pre-orders before too long (i.e. before my birthday in early September)!

I really doubt there is any titanium in those SC grinders.. :D

So, this thread is an interesting read. Haha..

Nobody else has asked so I emailed Trevor and inquired about the oils front end. I don't know about anyone else but I'm excited to see how this works with my concentrates. He responded rather quickly also, with a much expected answer.

Hi XXXX,

We still plan to make the Oils end but it is still in R&D. It will be awhile yet.

Best,

Trevor

As expected, probably towards the bottom of their priority list right now. I figure when Trevor says it will be a while, and still in R&D, that we definitely won't see this particular stretch goal for a while.

I've been waiting to hear about when there will be a price increase... And the word has been given. So I'm officially on board and in line now for my very own gh! Okay, I've been on board for a long time. I admit it. I'm a believer.

When & how much may i ask?

I have been reading this thread for months now. Happy for you all that have waited so long and it's getting close now. :)
Order placed. Estimated late July ship date.

Edit: I think GH owes Buzz huge for his review as it got me here. But i also think, what if he would have given it a poor review. There was risk there and I think it paid off for everyone.

So do we want to start a FC pledge? Something like, "I _____ (state your name) will not bulk purchase preorder grasshoppers to sell at a discount after the price increase."

IMO, the GH team is entitled to all they have worked for!

When you buy this it says things like "you agree your of smoking age" does make you think eh smoking then it says about can lead to cancer's and other illnesses etc all precautionary i am sure because it's a vape and i am led to believe most legit vapes are 80-95% better for you than smoking the herbals and that's why we are all here :)
Mine ordered, i couldn't wait for a price hike...

I looked them up, according to what I found, those grinders are made of aluminum with a coating of titanium Edit: After further reading, it appears that they may not even be titanium coated, but actually titanium anodized.
That's correct. There are no titanium grinders that I am aware of although the way Space Case words their advertising, it's easy to see how someone might get the impression that they're made of titanium.

Yes, you're correct, the Space Cases are made of aluminum. I did see the Al reference in your orig post but also the "anodized ti grinders that have much more vibrant colors" and saw the SCS photo so assumed you were referring to those. There are no grinders made of titanium and the range of color you can get by annodizing Ti are limited since it's just a clear oxide. That being said, I did just upgrade my GH from SS to the Ti Green!
