I just used my pinky nail under the plastic and gave it a slight outward and upward pull and it popped off. The manual has an image.

In case this is of any use to anyone, just received a replacement mighty today was in serial number 16000 has redesigned top fins that look like they will last it also was a complete sealed set with charger grinder loading tool etc... seems to work well turnaround was 11 days and they paid for ups both ways.

top service !

Could you take a picture of your top? Curious as to what design I have, hopefully the updated version

Edit: I do have the Dark Blue O-Rings, no battery rattle, I do really worry about snapping one of the latches to put the cooling unit on, but it snaps on and off securely and I wouldn't worry about it as much if it wasn't a problem I've seen frequently mentioned

Something I always saw and that I was sure to do when I got mine Friday, take the orange tool at the bottom, & take your cooling unit off.

Unlock the CU by pulling the Mighty Hologram toward the mouthpiece. Pull it open from top to bottom, so you're left with the top "shell" with the mouthpiece and lock, and the bottom with the O-ring around it.

Use the orange poker tool, and from the top SIDE of the BOTTOM section, stick the end of the tool where the screen is, apply a little bit of pressure, and it will pop right out of the bottom. You have to stick ya poker through that awkward opening for lack of a better term.

Then take the fine screen they give you additionally, and line it up from the bottom SIDE on the bottom section of the cooling unit. Try to get an edge in, and just pop another edge in with the poker and run that along the side to lock the screen in place. You should see there is a really little lip that the screen is sitting on, it's very easy to fix the new screen in place, may just need to poke around a minute.

This will, supposedly, elongate the time between cleanings of the CU and thus extend its life, plus you won't have any AVB stuck up in the CU.

I've only had mine for 3 days now, but I see the rationale and logic behind it. The stock screen is much wider and my bud ground up would definitely pull through it into the CU (Not all of it, but bits and pieces). Comparatively, I took mine apart last night for the first time, and it had a nice thin layer of NICE looking reclaim but it was not that dirty at all.

There may be a difference in draw resistance with the swapped out screen, but I did not try the stock one. For what it's worth, I can rip it or sip it just fine with the finer screen, there is not really a noticeable draw, I mean...some for sure....but anything that would be expected. I wonder if the stock screen is just like normal breathing

Hope this helped :) Let me (and us!) know how things work out for you. It's really great, I can't love it enough.

@ean , I read, somewhere, it had to have been here or /r/vaporents that the new updated models fixed the battery rattling, so if yours is older that is likely the cause. I can't find where :/ nor do I know if that is actually legitimate, but I do recall reading it. (Edit: I see yours seems new, so I think that's probably it)

As much as I love it, I really hope I got the newest and most improved version, I don't really want it to EVER break lol. I went and bought a cushiony pillow type case for it at lhs today just to keep it in throughout the day...I don't want my cats jumping on it and knocking it off something or somewhere lol.

What temps you guy's like? I've been going across the board, but one thing I don't really do is change temps during....I did it one time and I just found it kind of lacking, idk. Started at 345 and went to 370, but my 365-370 hits were very wispy and seemingly non existent. Could be the bud too.

I've found that 345-355 is really great for taste. I did one at 335 too and it was tasteful. Heady as fuck. But to just get ripped I found that like 370 gives me a wide range of tastes and highs. 380 was a bit too hot for me, which is something cause I used my PAX on 410 all the time.

People saying their unit auto shuts off sometimes when you're using it...here is something I noticed, don't know if its been addressed. My unit never ever, ever, shuts off at low temps. 370-380 though it does happen and what I think is that the heater is hotter, so it takes more air to cool it and register a drop, so it doesn't know its being used. Not sure, but makes sense, it's usually auto shutting off on hits that it drops -5 degrees. Comparatively, I drop it 10 on lower temps easily.

I just used my Mighty while writing all this, first time tonight.....:mmmm:

Do you suggest swapping out for the fine screen for the Crafty too (if anyone knows or has an opinion)?

Could someone explain the whole nugget technique?

Take a whole nug, place in mighty, wait till up to temp, inhale vapour. At some some point take off the top, crumble bud and repeat!

Can the mighty be used while on the charged? And what is the best technique for using minimal amount of bud with this unit?

Yes Mighty can be used w pass through charging. You can be economical w the mighty.. just place a small load ( enough to cover the bottom) probably less than 0.1g. Place the oil pad on top and enjoy. The bowl will only provide a few hits at most on max temp.

@Mr. Me2 i havnt tried that method but i imagine it will clog up pretty quick and be more hassle than its worth. Just place the oil pad on top of your load to stop debris getting through. You can place it on top of an almost full load.

You don't even have to cover the bottom, try it out with the smalles amount of weed you can put into, oilpad on top and ONE draw at max temperature. Then tell us how you feel.

Im sure this works fine .. for even better results ... heat up empty bowl until desired temp. Then put in bud, oil pad on top and inhale. Less actives lost in the pre heat stage.

Personally i use my vapman for small loads and if i wanna get blasted just fill up the mighty turn up to max and blow some clouds! I will say that if i load how much i put in the vapman ( 0.04)i find it less satisfying in the mighty. YMMV

cant take a pic as im at work, also don't know how to put pics on here but the top fins are about 4 times as thick as they used to be with extra supports, they no longer seem flimsy at all. still light blue o rings except the cooling units large o ring was purple! how delightful.

any of you think its a bit lackluster through water? i can get my Air to white out the walls of my d20 ( to the point where you cant see the downpipe ) with a pre heated gong, but the mighty vapour even on 210 just wont do the same, not as thick.

think i need an e-nano or lotus now lol

I've never seen or used a Mighty before, so this doesn't help me too much. I'll take a picture of my top when I get home to compare

For the record, you just click that little photo next to the smile face and copy in the Image URL to post photos here. You can easily upload photos to a site like Imgur if that's something you aren't familiar with either. Hope it helps!

If i pack out the bowl, is this a vape i can pass around with 3-4 people?

Also i know the auto shutoff is like a minute or something like that if the temp doesn't drop like 5 degrees right? Say i have it set to 375 and its at 370 and i keep ripping before it gets back to the 375, do i have to make sure it keeps dropping in increments of 5 or just keep it 5 below the set temp? And also tapping of the button acts a reset of the minute correct?

The auto shut off is for the SET TEMP, but if your healthy lunged the 5 degrees shouldn't be an issue, you don't want to keep ripping when the temp drops, because that will cut down vapor production...and it CAN last for 3-4 people per bowl, but there are countless variables that can affect individual experience...In short no one can with 100% certainty can pre determine your satisfaction. But it does work when I use it with 3 or 4 of my friends, the technique is rip for 10 secs like a bong and the timer won't be an issue. Unless your really high of have friends that like to bpab

Well you could keep the weed in your mighty at those low temperatures for 30 minutes but the basically meant to be "slow-cooked" in the oven. That's all I know.
