How about the absolute WORST, the ANTICHRISTS of comedy? My votes go to:

Paula Poundstone
Adam Sandler (and any living SNL member)

Also want to cast some positive votes for chicks, like Kathy Griffon and Phyllis Diller. And some personal old favorites from childhood, like Jonathan Winters, Smothers Bros, Flip Wilson and Pat Paulson.

Mitch Fatel is probably mine

"Sex and muffins; those are my two favorite things in the whole wide world. Blueberry muffins....holy shit. Sometimes I'll be eating a blueberry muffin and it's so warm and delightful I think...wow...this is better than sex.

And sometimes I'll be having sex with a woman and think ...wow...this is very expensive. I should have just bought a muffin because you can cut it in half and save some for later"

Rodney Dangerfield because he started so many others in the business Barr,Carrey,T.Allen,Sam,Dice, to name a few. I'm surprised no one likes Paul Mooney He wrote a lot of Pryer's bits and Dave Chappelle. Modern day comedian Amy Schumer.

My dad, although usually a miserable sack of turd, is responsible for introducing me to alot of great comedians early on: Benny Hill, Monty Python, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Mel Brooks...those were our staples. Also enjoyed a ton of programming from the BBC.

Also love Bill Hicks & Louis C.K

Edit: I cannot believe I left out SCTV...so many greats came from that cast...John Candy, Martin Short, Eugene Levy etc, etc...

And many more I'm sure ill kick myself for forgetting later

Awesome dabs clip from Katt Williams! Interesting to hear stand-up is on a downturn in the US, it seems as big as ever in the UK. :)

I'm surprised that this Thread hasn't caught fire....

The art of Stand-Up Comedy has intrigued me since I was little...

I remember being like 7 years old and would rather watch HBO's Half Hour Comedy Hour than cartoons.

Here's a good one regarding answering phone calls from strange numbers..

I love Kevin Hart, some earlier work from him...

Highly recommend Bill Burr, lesser known, but this guy is awesome...

This dude is good....

@CharSadehBeast ,
Thanks again for creating this Thread... I'm gonna love it for my nightly Sesh :D
