We should start a "Get Iwien a Zap" fund.....I'd toss $5 bucks into the kitty.

It could be Iwien..."Come to the Dark Side....Dark as in Myrtle Dark"...fund...

All kidding aside....I dig Iwien's posts here and in other forums.....he is the vape torch bearer

  Thanks.

But Rick, I don't know if you know this but at other cannabis sites I visit, just about every time anyone asks for a recommendation for an efficient vape, I will suggest a PD, a PD Pandora, AND the Myrtlezap, in that order Not all the time, but I'd say at least 95% of the time. But I'll never mention the other two, and I gots my reasons.

Only reason that I'm mentioning this is because I believe that there's enough business out there for both you guys. Yeah, I have a closer relationship with Tom and Pammy and I try to send them as many referrals as I can, not only because of that relationship, but also because I truly believe that they make a great product. And btw, so do you, especially with the recent changes that you've made.

I know you two are bangin' heads and competition is a good thing for everyone. I just hate to see it get too nasty. It's kinda uncomfortable to see sometimes, but it is what it is.

Lost in Thought
Which came first?
The chicken or the egg?
The PD or the Zap?
The Sand or the Glass?
The Rick or the Tom?

:lol: I tend to try to LOL at the bickering threads here sometimes. It gets tough as I am a DIE HARD Zaphead. Thats not to say that I wouldnt love to own one of the 'others' but the Zap for me is more 'soulful' (if you will)

BOTH vapes are the shiznick for their own reasons - just like the motto round here "There is no best vape"

I think this could be applied to EITHER one of these toys. :)
The sandbox is big enough to at least cohabitate peacefully, we dont have to play together.

Just got word we are supposed to be good to go for IE now. He made some changes of some kind. I have no clue of course.
Thanks lwein for the kind words.
Outta here for the night. Very late the last two nights. Not normal me. Besides, no matter what time I go to bed, I am still up at 5 or 6. Too much aching going on. That is one thing I miss about youth........being able to sleep in late.

Rick,

all good in the hood.
its turning into a love fest in this thread. :peace: I always wanted an excuse to use the peace sign......

Seriously. I thought I was dreaming there for a minute.

I actually just finished reading a thread over on grasscity on Zaps/PD's, etc. where lwien spoke very favorably about the Zap. It was good to see, since I am also a die hard Zap head.

And I also like to keep it positive, albeit hard at times to keep myself in check. I've been tempted to spread "knowledge" a few times, but nothing good happens from slamming people. It just promotes more of the same. Like AG said, "it's a big sand box" and we all have our own opinions and favorites. That's what makes the world go round. Much better to keep it peaceful. But what do you expect from an old hippie? :peace:

No idea why I posted this, other then I just did a three hour stint in the kitchen making food for a BBQ......Thank Rick for the Zap.....for getting me through it. I just hope my baked taste buds transfer to the crowd. Just a little vegan trickery.;)

Rick you definitely got a great looking site, your guy does hella work and has really showcased your products well. Congratulations!!! I like the way it flows and the ground you cover. Well done.

Been looking at all these great new Zaps people are getting and am starting to get a little envious and am thinking bout maybe another one day. You do great work Rick, everyone that has these are sure to have many good times with them.

I have been seeing some questions from others regarding cleaning and reclaiming from the tubes I have made here, but didnt want to post anything here as not to overstep my bounds. I have some info at

http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=2238&p=8

that may help. I hope I am not doing it now Mods, pls check me if I have.

I know what you guys are talking about with this competition and all, there is a guy out there I have been seeing around for a while now that offers DO and has just started selling pipes, I looked today and hes even gotten some new flavors like mine, he started out selling them so low that he had to be cutting his own throat, his pipes look similar to mine, his prices are coming up as I knew they would, he cant keep doing it for ever for nothing, but there is lots of business to go around, I wish him well.

Time will tell and will always bring better dayz!

I'm Rick's secret webpon. Crap... did I just introduce myself with a pun? Sorry... I know that's against' forum ediquette... So... Right... I reinvisioned and created the new Aromazap.com and aromazap.com/shop. It was fun work.

I first ordered an aromazap (square) for my birthday in 2004. It was the best birthday present ever! I've introduced many people to vapor over the years and have steered people towards Zaps because they work great. They pay for themselves immediately, like in under a half year for any sort of regular indulger... But y'all here know the benefits of vapor, right? FC ... not that combustion is wrong... just ... vapor has many advantages, one of which is efficiency. One of my friends purchased something local. She found a whip vaporizer that had a heat range setting, but had a little trouble figuring out the optimal heat setting/range. I ended up replacing her other vaporizer with a Myrtlezap back in the square days (like my MZ). Even if zaps only lasted a single year they'd have paid for themselves during that time, but this MZ is only my second zap in over 6 years and I gave the perfectly functioning aromazap away as a gift to a friend. Sweet gift, right?

Anyway, so you can see I'm a big fan of the AZ/MZ family... I had a problem once, the MZ ran a little too cool... He sent me a 13.5V transformer for nothing to test it out... Compared to my MZ, this one still ran too cool on the 13.5V. So I sent transformer and zap back and got an absolutely beautiful replacement that worked. Rick has always been polite and responsive and professional yet personal over the years so I had a pretty good idea of his character.

Reinvisioning the website was an incredibly fun task. I'd play with ideas... like an all wood background and want to puke... But out of that I got the initial inkling for doing a wood trim. Later came the connective vapor thru-theme. I wanted to infuse the site with the kind of quality I see in the zaps. The wood trim is actually the front of _my_ MZ from 2 different angles (one for site other for cart). I may have gone a little too literal with infusing the website with the product. :p

I'm pleased to say I created the website. I hope y'all like it.

@disco: I added some glow and shadow effects for IE users. I totally agree that the main navigation was unreadable without something to help clarify it against the wood strip background. I tested in everything but IE once I had the basic layout done but (stupidly) assumed that IE would support the 12 year old CSS2 specifications. Either way I found a fall-back for IE that's acceptable. It's not as smooth as FF/Chrome/Safari... but at least a third of the web is no longer neglected. BTW, IE8 still does not support text-shadow.

@all: I'm open to suggestions about how to help first-time visitors understand that there's a shopping cart site and a main/content site. I change up the woodgrain and background, but the initial feedback seems to indicate that, while this my be clever, it is not clear.

All right tao!
Thank you for coming on the FC forum. It is so nice to have the technical part of AZ.com here to answer questions and see first hand feedback on the website. You will also find vast amounts of information on vapor and vapor delivery devices here. Your questions to me a while back regarding portable vapes will be answered beyond thorough here at FC. Also the different vape temps are covered in detail as is everything vapor related.
I had no clue you might show up here. We are so very happy with your work. You are helping us get through important changes in our lives. Thank you again.

Welcome to the forum taovapor. What a nice first post.

You've done a wonderful job on Rick's website. Cool to know that the wood grain is your personal vape. And your continued support of Rick and his product speaks volumes about the Zap and it's maker.

I smell a coup d'tat in the convection vape world.....

I need to order a third with an LED before the waiting list is infinity.

We will not have a waiting list. We expect to maintain or stay under a one week maximum waiting period from order to ship that we have been at for several months now. If we have trouble with the workload keeping that turn around, we will tap a very able family member to help. One reason we have always kept going is how we feel about taking customers money. When I get it($), I have a job to do, period. If I want to keep my job, I have to do my job timely. I guess I do not like to owe anybody. I also think alot about how I like to be treated when I order something online.
Bunch of glass out today. You have all been notified with a simple click in my store 'office'. Out of the short Planejanes already. I will be stocking up more thoroughly this week with the Planejane stuff. We are good on Toots.
Not used to having a real store...........

You gotta get the new me. When I get an in to restate how cool we are, I'm going to do it. I knew you were kidding but I got a WWW presence I am proud of now. I will be taking opportunities to push AZ much more than in the past.

No sweat though, if I get too crazy about it someone will let me know.

And dude, defense is a very important part of offense. Yes?

Rick is right, do unto others as you have them do unto you, the online market is the most competitive market out there, anybody can open a biz online with a website, but only a true man of integrity can keep it going for as long as he has. All I have read in this thread are praises for what a great job he has done and more importantly the service you get after the sale is what counts the most!
