I think its definitely worth it if you can handle potential delays. I use my GH more than most of my portables, and the only portables I do use more often are considerably more expensive.

@BuzzDanklin Thank you so much for all the information you have provided to this thread.
If it wasn't for you Grasshopper may have lost many potential and existing customers.

You have set many minds at ease, even with all the hiccups and delays they have encountered (which is to be expected on a brand new vape to the market).

Thank you for that Buzz.

As I have been watching this thread you have IMO provided the best and most useful information for the Grasshopper.

Grasshopper owes you big my friend.:D

Thanks for everything @BuzzDanklin

Once my most recent deposit clears I'll place an order for a colored ti unit.. maybe dark grey? The other colors are pretty but are less discreet (to me at least). Also, dark grey may (?) be in lower demand, depending on how 'pretty' others found the other colors.

Wait did he get the official lip condom or is that considered an accessory

I'm still not sure about the mouthpiece, I think it will be included, but I don't know who's getting the "official condom" and who's not (or if we're getting one at all). But I don't really remember. Doesn't matter either way to me lol. I can easily make my own silicone condoms for it if necessary (even one that works with an 18mm)

Biiiigg announcement tomorrow guys, I can feel it

an 18mm mp condom would probably be a nice accessory that I would think people would want, would be a nice "add-on" purchase :p

lets hope for the best

Fuck. I really wanna take the plunge, but then again... what if I have to wait until fall or worse? I wish that there were a way to know how the final design will perform; then I'd have few qualms about placing an order.

@BuzzDanklin and anyone else who has tried a Grasshopper... would you say it's worth it to place an order, given that the design will be slightly different and perhaps 'better' ?

I think the Grasshopper is worth the wait. I only had a brief experience with a pre-production version and I thought it was great. Its a completely different style of vaping and I prefer it over other styles, especially for on the go use.The production version promises to be better, 45% more insulation will make it cooler, a lot cooler, it will heat up faster and it will charge faster. According to Trevor, the difference is huge, the production version runs a lot cooler and they are "insane" in comparison.

What exactly makes it a completely different style of vaping?

The production version has 45% more insulation around the heating chamber so the unit won't get as hot on your lips as fast as the pre-production version.
The added insulation will also possibly allow your Grasshopper get up to temp faster thanks to the improved thermal properties of the extra insulation. 45% is huge and I usually didn't need the silicone guard on the pre-production version even so I am really excited to see how much cooler the production version is.....

I think the way the heater works...........?
Yes, it's partly the way the heater works. The heater is only on when you need it. No more waiting for your vape to get up to temp. and no more rushing to finish your chamber because the GH. isn't always on, draining your battery. I found the GH. style much more relaxing because I could go a half hour plus between hits if I wanted or slowly vape throughout the day, thanks to that fast heater. The GH. gives you the option to use it like a traditional session vape or use it at any instant

I have to say that I've been extremely patient so far. This year and a few months has went by pretty quickly, so I haven't been pining for my GH too much.

That said, if I don't get it in June, I'll be a bit piqued.

Are their not other vapes that work very similarly? I can think of at least 2 right now off the top of my head that work exactly like that.

Sure are, the Elevape SV, the Firefly and I guess the Thermovape sort of. I didn't say the GH. Is the only vape with on demand heat, I was just trying to compare it with session style vaping like the DaVinci Ascent, Mighty,Crafty etc....and how I, personally prefer the GH. style.
