It....has......arrived!!!

I'm stuck at work for 2 more hours :disgust:

My boss needs me to drive to Staples and make a bunch of copies of some drawings...., I drive right past my place.....may have to stop in :D

What a sexy thing. The size is fine, but I did lol when I opened it up. Seems like it's always touted as such a huge portable, designed for Ents or Giants or something, then I'd see people be like...."It's not that big! No bigger then a smartphone!"

My opinion is that its like, right in between. It's certainly a larger portable, but I can hold it firmly in my hand and its not uncomfortable or anything like that. I do have wide hands though. Mighty is certainly not huge. Certainly bigger than any smartphone I've seen too though  It's comparable to some Box Mods I've seen for Ecigs.

Speaking of opening it up, felt like a kid on Christmas. Nice packaging. Sounds stupid, but I'm a sucker for a nice box that holds everything well.

I have some wide tubing, I don't think I can get an airtight seal on my Mighty with it, but I didn't really get this to use through water. I know I'll love it, but just not a priority right now as I have other water vapes.

Kudos to the guy who said he's gonna let the unit cool first, I think I will do the same, I want this bad boy to last, I know down the line I'll probably need to exchange it, but I'd hope for that to be toward the tail end of the warranty, want to enjoy it :D

I guess you don't have an iPhone 6+ or Note size phone? ;) Mighty is certainly thicker than my 6+ but not much different width/height.

It is unfortunate that we have to baby a ~$400+ machine but unless you totally need to load another bowl right away, it will certainly extend the life of the plastic around the bowl if you first let it cool.

Depending on the temperature, that is indeed as I'd expect it. When I load about .2 or so, I get 5-7 long drags (12-15 seconds) at 185C and then bump it up to 200 and get about the same.

edit: Forgot to mention, whole session less than 10 mins including initial heat up time. I actually prefer this over a long session.

Here is a recent pic of my mighty s/n 500's. It works as well as day 1 with heavy daily use. There are two pieces broken off the top docking part and a piece of the fin has broken off, all ascetic.
Today I cleaned the area where the air intake is, there was a nice amount of debris in there. The air intake is in the cavity just north of the top right corner of the display when facing the mighty. I found this out cuz when I had a heated load going I blew really hard in there to clear the debris out and to my amazement dense vapor came out of the mouthpiece. This opened my mind to being able to do a super toke with the mighty ;)

Storz & Bickel fixed the problem people had with the top four fins breaking so easily. They modified the shape of the top four fins by adding a little piece of plastic in the middle of each of them. The little strut they added gives the top four fins added support to strengthen them, while still allowing the oven to get sufficient ventilation.

If I use this while charging, will it destroy my batteries longevity?
(Edit: Appears it won't and it has true pass through)

I fucking love it, will post a comprehensive and thoughtful post after enjoying it a bit more :D

@BioSector I recently in the last like year from a flip phone to a fancy iphone 4s :) so my phones are much smaller typically lol

So I vaped a normal bowl, emptied the chamber, took a new liquid pad, tear i apart slowly so tha you have a pad with a "pacman" like form. Scrape of some oil off the warm cooling unit and wipe the screwdriver with the oil within the liquid pad. Insta-oil :)

So basically you can go from "no weed" to preparing several oil-filled pads for the go
Would that be called a "Mighty" good idea?:rofl::rofl:
Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.

It's easier but not nearly as good a solution. The muzzmod provides the most direct pathway from herb to water.

I haven't been active here much the past year or so since my Herbalizers temporarily cured my VAS, but recently jumped on the Crafty and Mighty and had to post a huge thanks to @elmomuzz.

Thank you very much!!! I did your muzzmod with a 10/14 lowpro adapter (instead of 14/18) and it works great with my mini Ion bubbler. A match made in heaven. I haven't used either of my "Herbies" since I did your mod about 4 or 5 days ago. The crafty/mighty combo with your mod has been a game changer. Having the ability to dial in a temp on a mostly convection portable using a very clean/simple glass connection has been huge for me. No cords, no smelly tubing or plastic adapters, the maintenance is a breeze. I am not ready to sell any of my other vapes, but I have a feeling I may get there soon. I did try a 14mm mouthpiece adapter (the namastevapes one) but something about having the cooling unit in the airpath seems to lessen the experience for me compared to using the glass adapter.

BTW - If anyone is looking for a portable battery to charge your mighty, I have been using one: LINK

This portable charger is a bit outdated but it outputs 12VDC (most only do 5V) and fully charges my Mighty from empty in less than 2 hours. The adapter cable they include with this charger is a perfect fit for the Mighty. Perhaps there is a newer/better one out there, but at the time this was the only portable charger I could find to run my log vape (HI) for a few hours at 12VDC.

Fuck combustion!

The crafty is like a spare tire...good for short distances and emergencies, but smaller and weaker than the mighty...which goes the distance (except build quality apparently) but yea...fuck the g pro...for advanced users anyway...that's like going from a play station 4 to checkers

I smoked for 40 years, just about every day. Changing to vape was a big deal, and awesome thanks to the purchase of a Crafty (but battery life is horrible). I know the G Pro is cheap, but I own a Crafty, and Plenty, waiting on a Mighty, had a Pax. The G Pro is not too bad, but you really have to learn to grind, pack just right, and pull just right. Great pen for under $100 and great to hold (good feel) and travel with. Super stealth. Love the Crafty for home, Plenty way to wasteful with material for one or two people, and I think Mighty will kick ass / waiting for Fed Ex guy now (feel like a little kid). Mighty review coming soon.

Mighty arrived, everything about it is better than both the Crafty or Plenty...
WOW - my best experience with mj in 42 years. right now

seems to suit my smoking / vaping style and pace as well. Not shutting off after every minute even if I don't drop oven 5 degrees. Just a small puff seems to do it.

I got a mighty amount of love for this thing, totally worth every penny :D

It's comfortable fit in my hand, and it's relatively portable. Definitely can see it being big for a pocket, but it fit in my athletic short pockets briefly. Gonna get a padded case for it, and just carry it in a bookbag when I take it out.

Other then it being just slightly bigger then what many would consider portable, its hands down the best portable on the market.

- Battery lasts a long time, got like 5-6 bowls? A whole day basically. A far cry from my other vapes.

- Taste is supreme, it tastes really really good. More on this though.

- Temp control is really nice, I've bumped it up high and got really ripped, bumped it down low and got a ridiculous head high. Doesn't seem to matter the temp, the bud is fully vaped after each bowl, only a slight difference in browning really for me. Very nice.

I do get seriously ridiculously high off it. I've cut my vaping down honestly, because one session with the Mighty is enough for a good number of hours. Sure, it uses a bit more weed, but not much and I get blasted.

So, for the combination of ALL factors, the Mighty is totally worth the cost and definitely the best overrall portable on the market....I don't even feel like that is IMO, I feel like that is fact.

There are other vapes that do one aspect of the Mighty, better or as good as it, but nothing is able to deliver it in such a full package. My Firefly, surprisingly and to their credit, tastes as good if not better then the Mighty. But the battery life isn't as good, and I can't fine tune the temp. PAX is more portable but doesn't taste as good or get me as high. Magic Flight is just not comparable in a lot of ways.

I'm speaking just of electronic portable's really, butane is a different beast IMO, but I really do love it a lot. Gonna watch some Daredevil now....MAYBE even have 2 bowls, if I can handle it.....I legit have gotten sickly high almost for a minute or two off it hahaha, takes me back, I tried doing the same thing last night and just

Ahh. I'm gonna stick my grinder in the freezer and grab some kief. THAT will be fun.

Also, the minute I got it, I changed the screen in my cooling unit to the finer one...was really really easy with the tool. Draws really nice, can rip it or sip it, don't matter!

To the guy who said this has been the best way to consume weed in his 40+ years of smoking, that also reminds me, I love this thing because it makes me feel successful and like an adult. Lol. Shallow but true. I only really vaped like 4 times today, which is a far cry from my weekends normally, but I just got super high off this thing.

My SN is 0119XX , I don't know what that means exactly but I think it's good!

Cheers all! Have a MIGHTY fine evening:love:

(I'm sure that pun has been beat into the ground in this thread)

I also swipe the whole CU with a Q tip (after heating to max and drawing through to warm it up) to get into places I can't with a screwdriver. You'd be surprised the amount of oil that'll come off. I pull the cotton off the end and put it ontop of the liquid pad just to be safe:lol: helps to further my supply until payday :ugh:

For on-the-go loading, I find it easy to load nuggets: they toast nicely, and are easy to deal with when done for me.

The conduction happens on a small circular band of stainless steel in the bowl. The top is screened, as well as the bottom. I think it's pretty ingenious how the design cooks the load to a certain temp, but the auto shut off stops you from over-cooking the entire load, (ala pax). The convection aspect of it really shines when you take your draws. The temp drops because the cooler air is coming through, cooling the sides, bringing the temp down, reengaging the heater. This is where I let off the power. (either manually or auto shutoff.) The load is still well within temp, but you get about 4 nice long draws without any power being used. When the vapor output drops off I hit power and it is back to temp within seconds. Of course the higher the temp, the faster the session. My abv always comes out a nice even medium brown, never any blackness like the firefly if you keep honkin' on it for a while. I just tried the whole nugget technique and boy what a different spin on things! Even tastier! This technique is keeping my battery lasting almost 12-14 loads! Maybe this is the intended design? Either way this device basically bitched slapped my VAS:evil: and sent him packing!:rip: (Thank Goodness!)

Could someone explain the whole nugget technique?
