Treating ill pets

Hi to everyone!
Sadly, (but not surprising, judgin the poor quality of the poison they call food that nowadays people and pet ingest)A friend o mine has a cat with a stomach cancer..:-(
i read a lot of stories around the web about successful treatments with hash oils, and personally i met a guy who successfully treated his skin cancer with bho...
did someone has experience with treating cat? i mean this cat has no tolarance at all.....i dont want to knock him down...

Hi, i'm a retired Veterinary Nurse. I can't ethically recommend that you do this. I would recommend that you do a LOT of research. Then research again and again the pro's and con's of trying this as a cure for cancer in Cats.

You don't mention how old the cat is, any other medical issues , what the vets are recommending etc. Exactly what type of stomach cancer does the cat have ? Has it metastasized to other organs? All of these things influence treatment .

Animals do better on Chemo than humans do-they have less of the really nasty side effects.

Are they recommending Surgery/chemo? Have they staged the cancer ?

Do i believe that cannabis cures cancer in humans-Yes, but not all types/stages etc.

Drugs like Cannabis are metabolized differently in different species and wrong dosages /side effects are deadly in animals as in humans.

BE CAREFUL -Be very careful. This is NOT something i'd do without the support of a qualified veterinarian to guide you .

With all deference to @VaporsVaporizer a local person had a small pup who was very old and blind with glaucoma. He mentioned that he wished he had some MJ as his vet had no really advice. I gave him a gram of herb, not decarbed, and said 'maybe it will help if you sprinkle a bit on his food'. The poor wee pooch was done anyways, and had nothing to loose. The MM lasted 12 days or so, and the dog only lasted a week or two past that, but my neighbor said the dog was calmer and not as easily startled as before, so he thought it was very helpful, and he was happy he tried it. Now I wish I would have decarbed first...

Having said that I know it's not clinical, but if our magical herb can help anyone it can also help our friends - just remember they are much smaller than us. And remember that most pharm meds are made for adults. OTC meds tend to say '12 years of age, or 60 lbs and over', so dose accordingly...

The only time I have ever given my cats cannabis is when they are close to death, just so that they are more calm, and at peace. I've always just blown a little vapor in their face, never ingested. They never protested (and they could have), and I could tell that they were immediately relaxed. I know some of our furbabies were in pain, and I could tell it helped them.

Our last elderly kitty was in diapers, she was at least 18. Now, we have another furbaby that is 18, and now in diapers. If he starts to show the signs, I will share with him as well. We just want our babies to be at peace when they pass, and we are against euthanasia.

All i'm saying is- KNOW what you're doing before you try this as a cure for cancer If one of my animals had cancer and i thought/knew/ had clinical data etc. I'd do it if i thought it would help.

I've been worried about "clouds" being too near my 11 year old dog who has cancer. From reading this I'm relieve that it seems like it isn't going to hurt her.
