Sounds like you fried one of the mosfet in your tesla.
If your running the .5ohm coil, Try turning down your wattage to between 20~25 watts. Also you could try the 1.2ohm coil instead. It does not hit as hard as the .5 and uses less wattage to fire. Hope this helps.

I just learned my Buckeye NicoMod will have the sx350j temp control chip in it. From what I've been reading and watching, it's the 'latest nd greatest' according the reviews I've seen. Though I've only seen reviews on the SXmini M class which has the same chip.

What do u more experienced ecig users think?

If I was gonna buy a high dollar device the m class would be high on the list.. Or the brass square shaped Hana modz authentic. Temp control paired with flow control sounds great but idk

It's the exact same chips as the m class, yihi sx350j. Id just rather have an American made, hand crafted wood Burl box mod over a China mod. Their chip is boss tho lol n that's y NicoMods picked it up.

Hi guys posted similar questions in the pg thc tincture thread but seems to be some knowledgeable folk here as well so ive got a couple of quick ones.

im gonna make some qwiso and mix with peg400 and pg to make my own mj e juice. From my research the aspire nautilus mini was recommended because of the bvc. I beleive the aspire k9 could potentially be a cheaper alternative. Has anyone used these tanks or can you recommend other suitable alternatives strictly for use with mj e juice.

Also with regards to batteries what voltage or wattage is recommended to drive these puppies? Could i get by with a standard vv like ego twist, or am i better off gettjng sonething more powerful?

thanks for your help x

Hey guys figured i'd ask. i just grabbed a Kanger Kbox for my dad and i am honestly looking for a cheap tank for it. Was wondering if you could help me out , i kinda want to be under $15 for the tank and i am seeing most people using subohm tanks on it that cost $20+ , any advice would be great ? I also have a few innokin 30s or 30b tanks at home that i believe are 1.9ohm-2.2ohm's , something like that , can i use those or some cheapo tanks you see at gas stations. The reason i am asking is bc my father looses tanks left and right , i have bought him so many ecigs and mods and tanks in the past few years it is getting out of hand now. I just want to grab him something cheap , yet hopefully good bc it will prob be lost in a week or so like usually with him. Thanks

You can use any 510 threaded tank on your device, just make sure the higher the ohms, the less watts you use. Just make sure you look up ohms law before getting too far into sub ohming. There are not really any sub ohm tanks your gunna find under 25-30 bucks.

Ok thank you , I am thinking of just giving my father one of my innokin iclear 30 tanks since it is a bit better than the cheapo gas station tanks. I just dont want him burning it out quickly. I cant justify purchasing him a subohm tank when he loses them every day. I hope he is happy with the kbox though bc all he has had has been the kamry telescoping mod i got him last year and a few of the reg old ecig stick batteries you buy at gas stations.

I've got an IPv4 and arctic subtank that are waiting at my house for me. Check out elementvape.com they have some great deals going on. I have 2 kanger subtank but the arctic produces much more flavor and way larger clouds imo, and it's on sale for half price, $21 is a damn steal. Also the IPv4 is on sale for $70 and uses the same chip as the sx temp control chip.

@NickDlow you made a good call, it will preform damn near identical to the sx, I've never been a fan of paying way more money for the same chip in a different mod no matter what others say.... It's going to be damn near the same in performance.

@Justpassedu the arctic for $21 is definitely the best tank for the cheapest price I've seen before. If he does have a battery that can handle it I would highly suggest trying one out. Way healthier then a lot of the cheaper tanks... Just cotton and wire, no ceramic or mystery materials

@Justpassedu must be a bug or something, my buddy had the same exact problem last night trying to order the tank. It was free shIpping for my ipv and tank together, not sure what's up with that. If you email them maybe they will get back to you? Not sure, but I definitely suggest getting yourself one. Also I would suggest the btdc (bottom turbine dual coils) over the singles. I still haven't decided which I like more (.5 or .2) but I'll figure it out tonight when I finally have my own

As long as it's authentic $25 is a steal as well, just try to buy it from the most highly reviewed seller you can find at that price. It's a $50 tank in most the shops around me, and is the best tank on the market imo. The delta II and Herakles are supposed to be right up there with it, but way too many downsides with the delta for me, the Herakles looks legit though

Damn that is a hell of a deal! As far as the innokin I'm sure that will work for him, my mom and brother in law have been using those exclusively for at least a year since I got them each one. Definitely a solid tank that's built to last.

As far as the arctic, I'm not positive on what those 2 mods are rated far as far as sub ohming. But if they are capable of handling it 30 watts will definitely fire it. But to really get the full flavor and clouds most of my buddies with the arctic suggest 40-60 watts for the best performance. Sorry I feel like I should have said that earlier.

But if they can fire the arctic I am positive you will enjoy it at 30w. At that wattage I would suggest you go with the 1.2 or .5 ohm single coils and it will be a really really solid vape at 30w... The airflow is just so nice in the arctic, feels like half the resistance of the original subtank (which I do own and use daily... Still love it)

I guess i can always take the kbox i got my dad and swap it with one of my others but i feel the innokin and vamo are a bit nicer looking as the kbox was actually very cheap to purchase. It was only like $20-$25 while the others were $50-$80. I gotta check later and see how many watts the innokin mvp i have is , i believe the vamo only goes to 15watts though. what voltage do you recommend starting at by the way ?

You may be able to get the same chip as the NicoMod but you'll never be able to find a mod exactly like mine, or any NicoMod for that matter.

I'm not just paying more for the chip everyone can get. I'm paying for the one of a kind, handcrafted, made in USA (besides the chip) box mod. I'd pay a couple hundred for that any day rather than getting the same mod everyone and their sister can get from China.

That's just my preference.

To each his own...

@NickDlow i was agreeing with you actually:shrug:, that's why I Just said it was a good call on not getting the sx. I was referring to the sx when saying I wouldn't pay that much for it. I didn't realize yours was over $200. I just assumed the sx was more expensive

Never heard of nicomods till right now, too big And expensive for me personally but those things are God damn gorgeous

@Justpassedu the voltage depends on the coil resistance you are going to use. I'm so used to my mods calculating voltage for me that I only ever adjust wattage, I've forgotten the formula for figuring out volts actually. Google will get you in the ballpark of what Volts to start out though, sorry bout that

No worries, no offense taken I'm just passionate about my wood:D. I apologize if I came across dickish lol.

As for size, I'm pretty sure it's about the size of a pack of smokes. Not that bad for me as I usually have a pack in my pocket. (@SSVUN~YAH 3cigs a day now bro!) So I'm use to that size already. Expensive... yes lol no defense there besides what I already said.

Thanks guys, this thread is what did it for me!

As far as size yes it's surprisingly smaller than it looks. It's about the width and height of two 18650 side by side (mod only takes one). This pic may give u a better idea. Bottom right pic is the back with covers removed.

You can bet your ass I'll be posting it all over this forum lol.
