Long time smoker, new to vape

Hello Guys,
I'm relatively new to vaping (about 6 months). I love the science behind it, and the health benefits. I've been a regular "recreational" user for over 40 years, in perfect health. I actually think I get much more out of vaping than smoking, so I am happy with my choice to switch, and master this art.

I've got a crafty (being repaired) a Plenty, and a couple of G Pro (which I love). I want to "perfect" hand held vape (love the shape and stealth of G pro). I really don't do much vaping outside, but being stealth in my own home is important.

I'm searching for that perfect experience, good quality vapor, LONG BATTERY LIFE, in a sleek hand held, easy to use (and clean) model. I've been looking at the Mighty (already have crafty and plenty), but the shape is a turn off (like the G pro, pinnacle design). I was thinking of Pinnacle (not crazy about the bullet) or Arizer Air, or Solo, or I'm just not sure. And BTW, the G pro taste is not bad, good if you grind and heat right. Just wondering if there is the perfect vape for me that I don't know about.
As you can see, I'm all over the place and need advice. HELP!

Greetings Mike,

Honestly, I think the Arizer Air would be a good choice for you.

I personally am waiting on the Grasshopper vape which I think/hope will be the best "stealth" vape for me. But it's be delayed months and months (and years). So there's no clue when it will actually be released (so far only 2 people outside the company have one and are posting feedback online). We're waiting for them to start shipping, but it's still a new vape from an unproven manufacturer.

I really don't understand that question "efficiency". Can you please explain what you mean? Herb conservation? Extraction? Vapor Density?

I probably am not the best qualified to answer in any case as I don't own the Arizer Solo or the Arizer Air, but they are very popular vapes (albeit not the most powerful cloud machines around, but they work just as well)

The vape specific threads are the best place to get everything you would wanna know on them and if you dont want to sift through all the pages there's the "Best of" sub-forum which is great to get the jist of the vapes you are looking at. (AA best of only has 2 pages, quick to go through)

The Arizer Air is a nice portable vaporizer and very well made. I don't think it would be any more powerful than the Crafty or the Plenty. It has a nice sleek design though.

Each owner replaceable battery lasts almost one hour of use. You can use the unit while charging. You can pay extra for a battery charger. The company suggests just using their battery charger. It's your call if you want to buy a cheaper battery charger. The price for Arizer's battery charger for the Air is over $40. So you can buy as many batteries as you think you will need. This vaporizer very easily hooks up to various water tools.

It's pretty small and resembles a larger e-cig and doesn't use a lot of product either. It probably uses about .15 of a gram per bowl lightly packed and a medium grind.

The Solo is a well made vaporizer also. It's a little on the chunky side. It's about the size of a can of Red Bull.

I know what you mean with the Grasshopoer. It seems to go 2 steps for forward and one step back. I'm not sure if it's coming out in a couple of months or a year.

I'm afraid that's not all objective, including "perfect experience". Quality of vapor is vague and has a different meaning to different people (as does efficiency). All vapes, including a simple homemade lightbulb vape, are capable of producing the same vapor. Different designs favor different goals and different feature strengths. It's just like buying a vehicle. You need to ID the features and style you prefer and figure out which model meets your requirements best. Nobody has any technology that produces more or better vapor, for the same amount of herb, but some portables are aimed at stealth, and the size involved may force a compromise as far as big hits are concerned, while others may be closer to home units in performance while not being as good for pocket carry and stealthy on the go vaping . Long battery life may not be compatible with your view of "sleek", and "easy to use (and clean)" is also subjective.

You'll get some good suggestions here, but since you already have multiple vapes to get you by, I'd say use the suggestions to investigate popular models in the Portable section and figure out the pluses and minuses of the models that interest you.

The Firefly has, IMO, the perfect, natural flavor of any vape, desktop or portable.

It's sleek, solid, classy, and has the best service backing their warranty of any company in any product category I've ever dealt with.

Battery life is decent, not great, but you can buy an extra and swap it out yourself.

Some of us consider the FF the "king of portables". Check it out....might fit your needs quite well.

By efficiency, I mean conserving product with good clouds and taste

Sounds like a vaporgenie! Ok, half smartass answer, but it does tick a lot of boxes

Barring that I would join the Air/Solo camp, I feel like anyone who can own one probably should, even if only for vape emergencies. You never know when they will strike...

Portables always entail compromise because batteries or butane are not as reliable as house current. If you're looking for optimal performance you'll be better off with a plugin if you don't take it outside. Log vaporizers like the UD deliver excellent quality vapor without calling much attention to themselves.
