Discovered Green Crack today.

:brow:
.....................................................................
So, was Green Crack a good discovery??? I got some organic Green Crack from a CO dispensary and it is great bud. My pet peeve is that I hate the name though. Originally it was Green Cush with a C, and then Snoop dog called it Green Crack and it stuck :( I just don't like those mj names that mimic hard stuff, like LSD etc.

From a farmer's mmj market? Those farmers markets seem like the best idea ever as mmj growers can meet/assist their patients in getting proper strain/ trying new strains and great for users to wander and talk/ learn/ try new strains.
With new BS law, are they going away this summer? What will those growers do then??

@Enchantre @MinnBobber I hope the farmers markets don't disappear before I go to one.

So the Brownies........ I didn't want my first time with the Magical Butter machine to be a disappointment, so I really stacked the deck and did my potency estimates very conservatively.

I won't go through the numbers, but my low estimate for a brownie was 60mg and a high of 120mg. Since I eat dispensary edibles at or exceeding those numbers, I figured we were right there.

Long story short, my wife and I were absurdly baked. Incredibly baked. Felt like some tourist in Seattle who ignored the warnings of their budtender. We ate them around 10:00pm. I'm still quite fuzzy ten hours later. Slept great with vivid dreams, but my wife stayed awake all night.

We both had a good time, and I'm impressed with my first try at homemade edibles

Yay for home baked! I actually just stuck a batch of "Ooey Gooey Chocolate Chunk Pumpkin *MEDICATED* Bars"... vegan/gluten-free... in the oven... just starting to smell lovely! I pulled a jar of "um, let's see, it's pretty green, so it's either the super strong bud butter, or it's massage oil" out of the fridge, melted it down, and added in some more recent bud coconut oil. These little gems will put us on our butts.

In regards to MMJ Markets. No fucking clue, EXCEPT the bill takes effect in July of 2016. That's a year out. Chippy, pick a market, we'll meet you there. :)

Green Crack - isn't Green Cush (that's an Indica!) - it is, according to Leafly, basically Skunk #1-ish. I'm not getting any paranoia, and it is NOT bringing "the BITCH" out, and I've cleaned my kitchen, I'm baking medibles, and I'm fighting run-on sentences....

....................................................................................
Green Crack profile from SeedFinder database. I also use Leafly but they aren't always 100% accurate-
----
"Originally titled Green Cush, just Cush or Lillie Coy when it was released as a clone only, this mango/papaya smelling beauty its a '89 SSSC Skunk#1 crossed with a mysterious Californian Indica.

Green Crack also have a tendency to turn purple in colder temperatures making it really nice treat for Your eye, effects are very uplifting and energetic but dont be fooled this is strong weed !

Medical uses: Stress and pain.

Type: Indica/Sativa 25/75"
----

Green Cush/ Green Crack is 75% Sativa as with my limited strains I always get a Sativa or sativa dominant strain. Snoop Dog called it Green Crack and the name (unfortunately) stuck.
In the future, I intend to try some indica dom strains.

At least Snoop Dog knows good bud

Enchantre, it gets confusing as Green KUSH with a K is an indica. That's why I called it Green CUSH with a C which then became Green Crack...

edit : I was going to take a break today BUT all this talk of Green Crack makes me want to crack open my Green Crack JyARZ and vape a little. Have a seat on the sofa CUSHion and add hot water to my bubbler to CUSHion the blow. Getting on to 4:20 here in the midwest you know.

So it's a darn good thing this is a holiday weekend, as the overly successful cannabis cooking experiments have left us pretty much homebound.

We decided the best thing to do is to just keep eating more brownies, watching hummingbirds, laying in hammocks and making jewelry. Also cooked some blueberry blitzes in a big scoop of that green coconut oil.

Still vaping with my E-Nano, waiting for the Zion, and sending back two other vapes for repair.

I should put this upcoming link in the music thread and and this post should probably be in the Magical Butter machine thread, but honestly, I'm too high. While I am having a lot of new pain and need it, I'm really fully in recreational mode right now.

Pulled more stuff outta the storage unit... we are moving into our apartment, the rest of the way. Going through boxes... sigh... so much crap.

Home baked (hehehe) medibles... some lovely concentrates on the nail... a sip of flowers through the Vapman... It's a lovely day.

w&b: Haze vape & ol' faithful hydrotube, Killer Chernobyl 'bud wax' from same place. Nice. Then, wouldn't ya' know it, an item sells in fleabay outta the blue so I have to drive down the mountain and ship. Waited until safe and legal (ahem), just got back.

2nd round of KC almost as good as this a.m.. Got 2 seshs out of .05 - but then again, kinda' a lightweight here.

edit: Forgot to mention - a couple months ago, I noted that ingested GD neutralized my asthma and helped about 1/2 with related allergies. I'm happy to report that vaping does the same for whatever form of asthma/allergies I have. Helps with some other stuff, too, but these 2 are the ones that surprised me most. Still hummin along on the same KC sesh 4 hours later.

I've been bumped for the past couple of hours after an extended walk with the dog and Minivap. It was nice to get away after spending a bunch of time repacking things into boxes for this weekend move.

This might just be another highdea, but does anyone have a woodstove? I'm wondering how I might be able to modify one to be a sort-of vape. For when company drops by the shop. Out I'm just to lazy to get something electrical turned on...

OK, heat island, you are up next!

@killick you are vaped. I'm not much of a DIY when it comes to vaporizers. I do have a wood stove and I can't imagine turning it into a vapirizer. It would have to be a very tiny stove.

Been trying out this Blueberry tonight and I'm feeling mighty toasty myself. Almost ready for bed.

Funny.

We've got a rice cooker that works just like a giant vape: heating element beneath a metal bowl that heats up enough to bring the water to a simmer while it cooks the rice. I'd consider re-purposing it, but dang the thing has lasted us 16 yrs. with lots of use. If something works that well for that long, you don't mess with it. I wonder if I'll get 16 yrs. out of my AA?

I'm thinking a cast iron pot, near the edge, and just letting the herb offgas a bit from the heat. I'm sure I can cobble something up as a great sink to keep combustion at bay (a flat piece of granite or marble, then a piece of copper for heat distribution). I just need to keep it below combustion. It's doable, and I have time to experiment, darn it.

PS - not vaped, but quite mellow after overloading this mornings dog walking coffee with a double load of tincture. I'm finding that by upping my doses I can get even more pains to disappear. I moved a bunch of smallish, lightish boxes into the trailer yesterday for our move and last night I felt better than I have for a couple of weeks. Go Tincture! I'm gonna be living on you while the rest of the fun stuff is packed for a day or two.... Except maybe Minivap and Vapman. Anyone ever notice that days with 'vap' in them tend to be good days? :)

A few weeks ago a friend in Newfoundland was telling me about his pressure cooker... He puts herb in it, runs a whip from the pressure release valve, and connects that to an old gas mask (some of us have these around the house, just for old times sake). Apparently this is quite the popular rig at house parties...

PS - I stole the 'highdea' idea from @ChippyMalone - thanks buddy :)

@killick I can't tell from this popular science article, but I bet the academic version might explain how these ancient "bongs" worked. Maybe the ancient kings have ideas for your wood stove vaporizer.

Also, ridiculous highdea, but if you drove here this fall, I will have a wood stove that will be condemned by the country for being too old and not epa certified. So if you want a free one for tinkering and can move it, it's yours. Otherwise or gets recycled for scrap.

Chippy,
So would that wood stove be for a portable vape (under 500 pounds) or for a desktop vape (over 500 pounds) ;)

killick,
I like most of your ideas but this---not so much buddy.
However, along these lines, if you are interested in a mint condition sliderule, let me know.
It's all good

Well, while we are discussing massive vaporizers, perhaps we need one that has comfortable seating inside, like a vaping sauna? Of course, we will have to get a trademark on the name "Hot-Box".

There's a highdea for ya!

Edit : and I just tried my Aliens on Moonshine that was supposed to be high CBD. Stoned silly, so clearly I was sold something else as I've been suspecting from the unexpected bright purple color. At least it has a lot of THC. Too bad it has that one terpene I think tastes and smells like sour baby vomit. Some people think it's particularly yummy.
